  1. So I'm just now catching up on his 8 videos in 8 days, but I definitely couldn't help but think of here when I first saw something about this song I really love how he basically hits upon every major issue to which grammar Nazis take offense. I'm saving this video link for anytime that I wish to venture out into the depths of the net!
  2. definitely a gamer at heart. If the game is good, I really don't care what system it's on
  3. I'm definitely making an effort this year to get out to a few parades and parties for the Mardi Gras season. Gotta get the sinning outta the way before the Lenten season after all lol
  4. My life is at a bit of a weird point right now, since many of my friends know about me, but not my family. It's never really come up or anything.
  5. I think it falls into the black and white mentality that colors people's world view. Democrat or Republican, good or evil, gay or straight, etc. I don't even think it's really consciously intentional.
  6. I personally identify as bisexual leaning male, but I've always found it easier to just tell someone I'm gay if they ask. It always seems like people don't truly understand bisexuality or they are too stuck in a black and white mentality.
  7. With only 1 month left in the year, it's a great time to look back on your personal resolutions from this year and see which you've accomplished and which kinda fell by the wayside. In addition, it gives time to think about what your resolutions for the next year are going to be. My resolutions for last year were to get in shape, learn a new programming language for fun, and learn to garden. Unfortunately, time constraints with my job meant that I was unable to pick up gardening and only briefly looked into teaching myself a new programming language. And I haven't even thought much about getting in shape, although I have managed to change my eating habits so that I am better watching what I put in my body. My resolutions for the next year can be summed up with the simple phrase of learning better time management. I hope to better use what time I have in order to practice better fitness and to give myself time to get back into writing for the new year. I'm hoping that with the new year coming up, I will be able to schedule in an hour every day for exercise, and make some time each week on accomplishing my goal of learning a new programming language. So what personal goals will everyone else be setting for themselves for the coming year?
  8. We got New Orleans as #1 by city, and Louisiana #7 by state. I think I need to go take a quick trip
  9. At this point, the whole media thinks we're idiots that can't think for ourselves and therefore must be spoon fed every opinion and thought into our heads.
  10. That looks pretty interesting. I'm gonna have to make some time later to watch the whole series. Or at least watch the first few.
  11. I can't wait to go see this one. It looks good from what I've seen so far.
  12. Hmmmmmm.... definitely have to think about this one: Legend of Zelda (Link to the past was the first video game I ever beat by myself as a kid) Pokémon (been playing X nonstop since I got it. definitely addicted to wonder trading) Mario League of Legends Mortal Combat Arkham Asylum
  13. I can agree with giving Louisiana bass fishing though I might argue harder for football or baseball
  14. oh my gosh! that sounds like heaven! I wish I had more time to cook.
  15. Well then, seems like I may have found a new game to be addicted to as well as a new tv show to keep up with
  16. does anyone know when the TV show starts, or has it already started?

    Chapter 19

I just have to say that I absolutely fell in love with this story the first time I read..... and the other 3 times I read it over. I was so excited when I saw that a new chapter had been posted. I'm kinda curious what will happen when the asshole friend comes back and gets tangled up in the complicated equation. Just how hard will everything hit the fan. This chapter was great and I eagerly await the next installment!
  19. I've been seeing the trailers for it for a while and was thinking about getting it. Still not too sure how the whole set up will work between in-game and the TV show. How is it?

    Chapter 22

I have to agree with much of what jikarn has said. The only point I disagree with is that I was kinda excited that Devon would actually work his way into the story. I'm curious how Ace will cope with the changes in his best friend and how those changes may affect the dynamic of the family. Plus I'm on edge thinking about what CJ and mattie's uncle, brother, and sister might be up to. I'm honestly eexcited to see what may lay ahead in the next installment!

    Chapter 1

So I don't know if I want to be mad that it isn't another chapter of Riding Lessons, or if I just want to find you and glomp you for what looks like an excellent start to a new story .... On a serious note, I am definitely and instantly hooked. I am certainly already hooked by Milo, the lovable pitbull, but also by what looks to be a fulfilling if rocky road for Brice. I eagerly await the next installment
  22. Well I live an hour and half away, so I really don't get out there too much. I have heard good things about some of the parades out in Lafayette
  23. If only I could have made it out to the parades this year. Nevertheless, I shall raise a toast to a season of drinking and fun!
  24. Definitely gonna have to take a few of those suggestions to heart
  25. If you want an additional sounding board, you can go ahead and pm the first chapter as well and I'll take a look at it.
