This is my try, hope you like it.
"Noooooo." I screamed on top of my lungs as the glass I was holding fell on the floor and turned into tiny little pieces I had to clean later. There was this huge monster standing outside the window, well, somehow inside the livingroom with its head half way through the window munching on my papers. It looked at me with its burning red eyes as I moved further from the dining table. Smoke came out of its nostrils slowly and its teeth ground painfully around those little fibers that probably belonged to an apple tree a life time ago. Meanwhile it kept staring at me with its big eyes and made frightening noises. I racked my brain hard to try to remember what I was supposed to do in a complicated situation like this as it kept on eating one paper after another. The strange thing was that each time it moved its tongue on the pile , it meticulously found those I spent hours to correct. I wanted to cry, shout and kill the evil monster at the same time.
"What should I do? Is there a manual for stopping the paper-eating monsters? What am I supposed to tell the students when they demand their papers?" I was busy trying to find a solution when my Doctor Who ringtone filled the room and pulled me out of my trance.
The monster had stopped eating and was glaring at my phone vibrating a few inches away from its ugly face. I dashed forward to save my phone. I'd never been this happy to receive a phone call, I pressed the green button and didn't wait for the person on the other end to answer.
"Damn you Amy. Why didn't you fix the broken fence? There is this huge horse eating my students' homework!" I took a deep breath and whispered " Please come save me. Please!"
