And thus the other shoe dropped. He wouldn't talk to his friends and brother because he was uncomfortable with what they might of thought of his less than straight-ish sexuality. He had no problems with Zander. But what brought everything down was bigotry about him being in a chair. I don't even think it was his disability but more because it was supposedly Zander's friends. I don't think he blames Zander rather I think he blames himself for being in a chair and bring reproach or whatever onto Zander. I actually think he was trying to protect Zander rather than himself. Well Zander say he was happy with the fact that Zu could protect.....but was this the way he meant?

At some point enuff is enuff for these boys. These two boys have gone thru more in the last year than most people go thru in a lifetime. Their strength is very uncommon in two so young but they have a wonderful support system in Mr.&Mrs. Hundser that allows all those boys and Mike and Derrick to withstand everything they have had to deal with. That hospital worker should be removed from working with people. You have a teen in that much pain any comfort given should not be ridiculed. In that situation just because they are holding hands does not mean they are automatically gay, surprisingly enough young straight men actually do know how to show compassion. It's not like they were playing tonsil hockey walking down the hallway. This chapter was full of warmth, love and compassion, showed just what a tremdous support system this family have. Can't wait for the next chapter.

It really freaks me out when something real life happens while I'm reading about it in a book. The other day we had a horrific hail storm moments after reading a chapter with a tornado in it. Now I'm see here the prompt tag for a zombie apocalypse and im reading Laurell K Hamilton brand new book Affliction which is all about a zombie apocalypse....just way to freaky for my piece of mind.

You incorporated at the tag words seamlessly into the story. The story itself was sad but funny at the same time. After reading your description it reminded me of a song " friends in low places" . I hope the two guys find their friends be it for a night or longer. Very good story.

Puppy dogs and connections. Amazing what can help you find yourself. It took a puppy to show Keith that it wasn't his fault his father treated him the way he did. That it was what his father wanted. The connection of Doug going thru the same thing as Derrick help Derrick put what happened to him in perspective. And lastly focusing on a safe place filled with love enabled Keith to release his fear and sing like he loved to do. They may have been different sparks but they all were backed and led to love. This was a very almost spiritual chapter the way all the boys connection that allowed them to release the negative feedback,interesting and emotions that were like a glass wall. They could see hear and even feel the love but it wasn't solid. Now it is.....beautiful. Mr. Hundser is truly a miracle worker and doesn't even know it. Between the puppy he gave to Prez and the friends he introduced to the boys, miracles do happen

Beautiful story but hate to see it end. Would love to see how they go thru university as a trio..hint..hint. This was a great chapter and it really backed up exactly what Brice told Keith. That the friendship came before the sex. This chapter was all about the friendship between the three and the other two brothers. Yes there was mention of sex but it was a beautiful memory of what had happened the night before it wasn't the focal point if the chapter. The overwhelming emotions in this chapter was love, and friendship. Very beautifully done. Btw would love to have seen the look on keith's face when it finally sunk in what the boys were telling him. The sad part is he will never understand the difference between his multiple fucking partners and the love and commitment between the trio. His loss.

LOL that will be a memorable time for them at the pool. So what was the women complaining about a person in a wheelchair planning on swimming a guy with tattoos, God get a life lady. With the power Zu has in his arms its amazing the guy was even able to stand up after a while. This was a great chapter, it shows a few things hehe. Zu is not going to sitting on the sidelines if someone goes after Zander, also shows he gas no problem saying exactly what he thinks. I loved what he said to that women it was funny. I think Zander liked Zu's answer to the Gay question. Great chapter want more please!!

You can't save them all. Caleb's uncle was able to save the abused horse, eventually it will be disabled but never rodeo ridden again. But the ropers horse couldn't be saved. Rhyder was missing Shura so much all day , watching them shoot that horse right in front of him I think was just too much. It's going to take a few days to get his equilibrium back, right now he has been knocked off center. I hope we see more of Jase, he seemed to get along quite well with Rhyder. Can't wait for next chapter.

When he makes up his mind There is no hesitation in Jason is there. Since he's done that I've noticed that Jason has related some and it's showing in his work. I like seeing the Commander startle Jason, you can see how close the two men are. This was a great chapter, glad you got caught up on your work was missing these guys. Can't wait for next chapter. That date on Sundays looks like it should be promising.

I second that Miles, Sasha is very much a tease with these short chapters and mini cliffhanger. Zander never missed a beat between the kiss the bomb then the flirt, and all done with a smile. Now we still have to wait to see the reaction of Zu's little bomb.. Ya know it would be really nice if you could do just a couple of paragraphs from Zander's POV. That I think would be awesome. This is a great chapter has been great and I love even more that poor Zu in the last three chapters has had one shock after another dropped on him. The great thing is that Zu has been holding up really well just absorbing them like nothing but at some point he won't be able to absorb any more, even a sponge has a limit of how much water it can sucks up before it starts to release it. More chapters tad longer if possible, yes I'm greedy sue me lol.

Your finishing there that is sad. The guys have come so far you can't leave us hanging there. Lisa has the same idea I did, collect the insurance close up the house take the carand go to Dallas. I think they are both strong enough together to get through anything, they need more than two weeks together.

When they were describing Derricks father, how he was such a quiet voiced man and everything. All I could think if was the descriptions if some of the serial killers like Dalmer. They were quiet, likable good neighbour's yet look at what they ended up doing. He turns seventeen so let's beat him nearly to death for a present. Then to have his wife back him up...what does that tell the son. It's okay dear I love you I know your dad nearly killed you but I'm still going to stay a day live and love him, we will find you another place to live how's that. At least I understand sorta Prez;so aunt waiting til new years eve to call and check out how's he doing, after all it was what only a couple of months after his mother died. No big deal right at what 16-17 years old to pack his mother's life up and move himself and deal with her death, while the rest of his family went on there merry way. They say that teenagers don't know what they want they are to young that parents know best...i beg to differ and I do believe that Prez and derrick would agree with me. Great chapter very insight, emotional and very painful, but also filled with love, faith,security.

What a beautiful chapter. It is so seldom really that you see two teenagers so secure in their love but to have trio of three teenagers, males at that who are so in love and fell safe and secure to show it. These boys have something that is one in a million and they know it. I seen the note of trouble on the horizon but for now it's just the three of them. I like the way they freely share things. Cody and Justin know the area so that took the lead in showing Brice around. But for dinner and dessert Brice took the lead since he had more experience, they separated the chores. this was truly a beautiful chapter well worth the long wait....but please don't make us wait that long again for dessert.....lol

Omg!!! What a awesome chapter. I think Zander did more than rocked Zu 's world I think he created a tsunami. So all the guys are putting 2x2 together and figuring things out. I think Zu is more worried about their reaction a lot more than what the reaction is actually going to be. Zander always seem to exude mega confidence but tonight you showed that he was a bit insecure with this new relationship. It wasnt much just one question, but I think Zu squashed that feeling with his fast answer. So now they are monogamous. They make a good couple exact opposites sour patch candies and candly floss. I am enjoying this story so much, these two guys are so perfect for each other, the two of them together bring out hidden aspects of there personalities so well they balance each other out without realizing it. I am so glad these guys are a couple. Can't wait to see how Zu handles the questions and everything,I hope Zoltan doesn't have a problem with them. I think if his brother disapproves that's going to hurt Zu more than anything else.

The young slave I think has given Pasha a clue. "Nothing is as it seems", "you see what you want to see" what is the other set of eyes he needs to see with...physical eyes or a mental set of eyes. He seen the truth of the boy then dismissed it, can he see the truth again.. Is his love and hope strong enough for him to counteract the counterfeit. Gabriel comment of. Going where angels fear to tread, is quite funny actually cause if that was the case then would Pasha and Uzzy have ever gotten together again. They're love of each other gives then a strength all their own but put them together they are almost unbreakable. This is the point of all this, whoever they are up against knows this so they have done their best to separate and conquer. They will lose love conquers everything someway somehow they will be together. But what a mysterious ride to get their. Nephy you are awesome there. Have been so many twists and turns into can't wait til the next chapter. Pasha WILL find Uzzy and he will be alive. You may be mean but your not cruel...right...right.

Hmm Gabriel has a point and I don't trust that peacock lol. Pasha would know if Uzzy was dead and he didn't feel anything until Fiero showed up, and even then it was emotion after being told he was dead. There is something off about this I just can't put my finger on what it is. I know what we are being told and everything seems to add up but for some reason I don't believe what is being said. I just can't figure out what is off. Dang Nephy you are good I love a good mystery not even I can untangle. Can't wait for next chapter.
