Hmmm lovely chapter. The three of them make a sweet family, baby Luke is a charmer. Everything seems to be going there way but something is bound to crop up. The question I have is it going to come from the research center or from the bastard from Sys's home planet. Wonder if those tentacles can attack as well as make love.

John just had to go and screw things up didn't he lol. Loved the description of the leader that was fantastic. I cannot believe how well Micah is handling this considering he is supposed to have a huge temper and be this horrible teenager his mother is the one that screeched loses her temper and such lol. Can't wait for next installment.

You had me hooked by the second chapter and three in the morning I'm still hooked. It was an emotional ride from start to finish. Silver and River fast became my favorite couple can't wait to read Enigma ll. But need to sleep and I know if I start I won't stop, you are to damn good at this hehe

Chapter 24 - Surprise Gifts

There is a saying " the truth will set you free", when I think of this chapter that is what comes to mind. Maybe not so much for River but very much so for Silver. But I think it applies the most to Davids family, which considering the truth that Silver told doesn't seem right, but without that truth of before would they understand the love and the freedom that that love gave to his family as well as Silver. I'm not sure if that is what you were trying to portray in this chapter but it's what I seen in it. -
Faith is dead and in kinda glad River did it rather than Silver. But hope Sam gets there soon. At some point good things will,let happen right?

The drive better be on his toes and home in that distress beacon. Silver may will fight back but will it be enough and what will the cost be to both Silver and River. Faith will die hopefully as painfully and as long as possible.

Chapter 12 - Making Friends

The picture obviously was hidden from the doctor. Silver is very smart and I think even a little smarter than River in some areas. I have a feeling that River is in for a surprise from Silver. Silver might relent for a bit but he is not going to back down. River may have crossed the line but Silver is going to obliterate that line eventually hehe. But we will see. -
I remember reading "Forever Boy" so had an idea of what Silver had gone thru. My heart goes out to both Silver and River this will not be easy for either of them for different reasons. But I do agree with the doctor River's professionalism will he,please to agree but I think his caring and friendship will be what heals them both. I actually wasn't looking forward to enjoying this book but after the first chapter I'm hooked and can't put it down. I also pretty sure I will need to keep the Kleenex. Box handing something tells me I will need it.

My first sentence in previous view was very much a compliment. A lot was covered in this chapter maybe covered isn't the right word to use. In a short space of time in the story the two men worked out and settled differences hopefully once and for all and not just covered them over. They dealt with past issues, current issues and peeked at future issues as well plus they had fun with Zach. I enjoyed that chapter and look forward to the next.

Micah,so mom is still a bitch. Sure she is worried about being replaced but then what does she expect. Look at the way she has always treated Micah. If I had that kind of home life and truth be told it isn't the money that does it for Micah. It's the fact that the Howards love Micah. If Micah's mom loved him why did it take her 16 years to do something about it. Oh well let's see what the next few chapters bring.

I think there is a lot of pride on Micah's part but I don't think has reached the arrogant pride as was shown by Hugh earlier in the story. I think if Micah had a chance to be a boy more often than one night a week so there is more than just lessons with the violin his pride in his accomplishments would balance out. for he is able to learn musical peices in 2-3 weeks compared to what most musicians can learn in 2-3 months then there is time for him to be a boy as well. But we will see, look forward to the next chapter.

It was a very interesting story. Between the flashbacks and what was happening in real time it gave it a sorta surreal feel to it. I spent most of the time hoping somehow there was a way that they would. Even together again, but knowing wasn't really going to happen. It was really a sad story but happy in that even with the years in between their death they still got that final few seconds together.

oooo Micah has such an evil mind. I like it. Not sure why he is giving up his laptop that seems a bit extreme. don't know what the big deal is with the phone its not like she had to pay the bill on it but I guess its a control issue for her. But something tells me that Micah is going to win this without even having to raise his voice or swear hehe. Can't wait for the next couple of chapters its going to be an interesting war between these two combatants. Hopefully it works out well for Micah and Corey. :sword:

Micah is in for a very looking three weeks. What did he do to deserve that ugh! But at least he has Mr. Jericho to help him thru it so he isn't totally alone and Mr. Howard is going to have a high phone bill for those three weeks. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Great chapter!..Loved the part with Idgie learning to ride a horse. I also think they won't have to worry about a girl for Ace something tells me he is going to find someone really soon. Can't wait for next chapter

Very full chapter had a lot going on in it in a very short time. Looks like Zach is not the only one that needs to work out a few issues. Though by the looks of it the guys seem to have a handle on the money issue let's hope everything else clears up as well -
Poor Micah, if it wasn't bad enough knowing that he is playing monkey in the middle between the future Micah and the past Micah now he has to deal with a battleaxe of a mother that is screwing everything up royally. Love this story hehe

Dean gave in too easy. I don't think this is the end of the no drinking conversation. Interesting to see what happens next.

I liked your descriptive way with words, I can see the two kids running around while the mother swept the floor. I found it interesting as well to know that the San might be a grower of tea but does not know of some tea ceremonies (not sure if that is the correct word to use).I am looking forward to further chapters.

agree with Stanollie Mrs. Howard is a thinker and very straight forward. I hope Micah doesn't travel again but I wouldn't be surprised there have been subtle hints that he was about to leave this time but I was hoping not but I guess I will have to see what the next chapter brings.

Very enjoyable story. Even though at times it probably hurt Leo I'm glad he had the wisdom to let Colt sediment and fly on his own. The last chapter proved that his wisdom and love of Colt. Enabled both of them to have a life filled with love and friendship, not only with each other but with Bert and Jason as well. Your butterfly analogy fit exceedingly well. The failed relationship with Colt and his parents showed what could happen by a too tight, paranoid treatment, whereas Leo relationship which enabled Colt to grow with freedom allowed him to expand and experiment. As a result Colt's parents lost out on a relationship with a loving son but Leo gained a beautiful lover and partner for life. Thank you for a very enjoyable story.

Guess I should have had the patience to wait and I would have answered my own questions on whether the new future would change or not.. Though the father knowing sorta threw me for a loop, didn't see that coming. Can't wait for the next chapter. Awesome story so far!!

Hmm it will be interesting. It could go one of two ways. Right now the brothers just think Micah's is a bit loony but if and when things start happening just as Micah's predicts then things they may see Micah in a whole new light not necessarily in a good way either. Or on the other hand with Micah living his life so totally different this time it could change stuff so drastically that that in itself could cause problems. It will be interesting to see which scenario ends up playing out.

Very nice story, so much was said with so little words. I liked the ending very much fit so well with the rest if the story. Two short sentences conveyed so much more.
