Tillykke med fødselsdagen, Cia thanks for all the good work you do on GA, helping us when we fumble around (or me, at least ) - and for your stories too.
-
Well, you certainly helped putting things just where they needed to be, so I'm glad you (and Gary) think I managed to get it right.Forgiving myself for mistakes and wrong actions is something I find hard too. Forgiving others is much easier. I guess Russ sort of reflects this aspect, but he does take the blaming himself and feeling unworthy to extremes, lol. Hopefully Jacob can cure him of that.

So nice when readers like those parts which are my favorites too. Your reviw made me smile and blush with pride. Oh and also sigh with relief that you found the sex scene hot. It's always tricky to do the erotic parts of a romance.Russ has more work ahead to deal with how he feels about his father, but the talk with Kathrine was a good start. He needs to feel confident about himself (and his relationship with Jacob) - as long as it lasts.

Thanks dughlas, I'm glad you liked the first chapter and I hope you'll continue reading - and commenting, I love it when readers share how they felt about my stories.Yeah Russ has quite a journey to travel to get out of the shadow of not only his twin but also other people. I'm still working on that. It won't be painless, but I think it will end with him being happy.

The next morning we went down to the beach again after breakfast. We met up with the same crowd, and I felt much more at ease in their company. I had a long chat with Kathrine, during which I learned she was studying psychology. She was actually twenty-five years old, which surprised me and I managed to blurt out, “Really? I thought you were twenty-one or so.” “Oh, you’re such a sweet boy, Russell. Especially since you’re sincere and didn’t mean it as a sneaky compliment. Anyway enough about

Intimacy Read In Tooth And Claw
Timothy M. commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Intimacy Read In Tooth And Claw
Just another brick in the wall... of why Oli hates his father. So sad. I understand the need for secrecy, but I can't help feeling that if Oli had been seeing a girl, his dad might have reacted differently. I was going to add something about Oli and Boris being perfect for each other, but I think I'll take that comment over to the forum, to give everyone a chance to spank me (verbally). -
Aaarrrrghh, no, no, no. Shit no. Stupid Nat, so fucking stupid. Damn, damn. I can't even say how this makes me feel, I'm so Lester is even more crazy and deluded than I thought. I sincerely hope Guy and Takei have established enough of a connection to Nat to feel something is wrong. Fuck, I want them to rip Lester apart! Grrrrrrrr

I almost want Dennis to complain to his parents about the scary guy with the scary dog. just in order to read about Kier telling them and the school principal: "Sure, I'll apologize. Just as soon as Dennis gives a public apology to Katy for sexual harassment, bullying and making her cry. Oh and he has to mean it too." Good thing he or that much alcohol could have killed him. Silly idiot.

It's back from both my editors and I plan to post it soon.

Questions and Distractions
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Questions and Distractions
Thanks. I'm glad the story appeals to you. I hope you'll enjoy future chapters too. -
But at least with forum posts you can go back and edit a mistake like that. So it's more important to read through your reviews carefully before posting as any mistakes there are preserved forever.

I know, I know, I'm sorry. I really do try to control my addiction. But sometimes it gets away from me. Sorry for causing posts in the forum, Mark. (he, he haven't used that one before...)

Of all your single stories, this is probably the most complex, since it weaves three separate threads into one. Each of them is compelling and has interesting characters, who interact wonderfully. It's a little confusing that the first part of Arthur's tale turns out to be much later in time than Robbie's initial chapter, but not so much that I lost track. The best part of the story is how the boys gradually turn this into a quest, complete with facing challenges and getting aid from Good people and defeating Evil people. And by doing this they also became free of whatever past hurts they suffered. Not to metion bringing Light to Eblis.

Chapter 19 Special Assignment
Timothy M. commented on Daddydavek's story chapter in Chapter 19 Special Assignment
Once a week is still very good, so no complaints. I like the idea of the new 'lensing' effect, and interesting to know it worked with other members of the family too. I wonder if this ability is something inherent in Brian's telepathic clan, in which case they might want to search for other members and recruit them. Oh and they should 'breed' from him as well as Abel. Shield improvement is another area to keep working on. If Brian's Dennis' family can now coach other telepaths, it would give them a whole new source of income and or gratitude. Plus lessen the risk of discovery and make their lives easier. So many things to explore - it keeps the story interesting and the romance fresh. -
They still have the whole Mediterranean Sea to sail before Granger can unload the Elgins on the poor Ottomans. Maybe this is why they've sent Lord Elgin to a Moslem country ? They know his wife will have to be secluded or whenever he deals with the local powers or goes out in public, which would not be the case in Christian countries.

Ohhh, so clever of Tas to involve Guy in the BDSM scene. It shows he really does want to do what is best for Mick. He knows Mick needs a protector and that Guy is perfect in the role, if he can learn to use his head (brain) and not just react emotionally or think with his dick. Most of all Guy needs to stop touching Mick without his consent and take lessons from Tas in how to shield his emotions. I have the feeling those lessons could be very hot and pleasurable for Mick, lol Oh and telling tas about Lester's abuse may be a violation of Mick's trust, but in this case I think it was for the best. And if Mick tries to meet Lester without Tas or Guy present, I have the feeling both of them will be very displeased. At least that's something those two shifters can also agree about. Mick needs to be sensible rather than stupid about this.

You know Mark, I sometimes get a picture in my head of you reading these forum posts (and story reviews) with us speculating about the various possible directions of CAP. I have the feeling you're delighted whether we argue or agree. I also suspect you like to nudge the discussion in the opposite direction, and it doesn't matter whether this is correct in relation to the story or your own opinion. Maybe I should nominate you for King of Obfuscation. Oh and I also imagine your reactions and face as you read reviews and posts: (no scratch that, I don't think we're capable of shocking you) - did I miss any ? (and your editors and beta readers are in the background or even )

Plus, there's the other complication: who will be Alex's 'bit of rough on the side' ?
-
Since JJ's tale opens on August 27, 2002 he must be sixteen years old - and about three months and one week away from being seventeen.
-
Please let Neil transfer his obsession to Liam. It would serve Doug right if he had to start protecting the boy he's been bullying. Oh and the irony of Clarissa choosing another gay boy for her 'boyfriend' was wonderful. Plus the stalker becoming prey made me laugh. At least Deon won't suddenly be face to face with his dad without warning.
-
I think JJ and Alex could be good for each other. I don't know why most people hate Alex so much. Yes, he's a bit fucked up and he acted a bit weirdly in relation to Wade and Matt, but I think he's genuinely a nice and pretty cool guy. He wants to worship the guy he's into and JJ wants to be worshiped. And Alex is bound to respect JJ's boundaries and deal gently with his issues - a lot better than almost any other guy JJ could be into. I'm not saying they could have a long term relationship, but Alex is perfect for JJ right now - even if it's just as a wanking fantasy.

Interesting that Zach has actually cared about Will's opinions and wanted his affections for a long time - I went back and read ch 51 in 9.11 and saw their first interaction with new eyes. Also good to have confirmation of Zach loving Will (enough to have him say so to Brent and even call Will his boyfriend). So far we've only been told this from Will's POV and I have occasionally wondered if there was a bit of wishful thinking involved. I'm glad they both genuinely care about each other. Even if they may have a hard time ahead with Zach in the closet and all the BS with Wally, at least their relationship is based on mutual love.

Thanks AC. I hadn't thought about the symbolic significance of them leaving the isolated island paradise, but now you point it out, it's obvious.I promise you'll get to see more of Evan and Chris, and I hope you'll like it. ;-)
-
Thanks Gary. I love it when my readers catch on to the hints I've left about background matters or future developments. You're quite right in thinking that Russ will have to get used to sharing his inmost thoughts, and Jacob needs to be patient and help him along. And I'm so glad you thought the coming out to Evan moment pivotal to the chapter and the story.

Oh thank you Sasha for at lovely treat before I go to bed. I'll be dreaming of cute guys cuddling all night.
