I think Sacha's relatives need a session with the counsellor in order to be told in no uncertain terms how to behave towards him. I wanted to smack Adam for the stunt he pulled with forcing Sacha to eat. Is he an idiot or what ?!

You know I'm almost tempted to say that James and Lacey deserves this. James could do with a taste of what Sacha has been through to really understand why he has become such a scared and obedient person. And Lacey should have listened about not taking Sacha into town, so she deserves feeling bad about getting both her brothers kidnapped. Frank is going to be livid, and I cannot understand he let them leave the house without a body guard. For God's sake he knew Ryland was hunting Sacha ! I'm not sure I want to read what happens next, it's going to be bad no matter what. And poor Sacha does NOT deserve this - especially since he'll feel guilty about them both getting caught.

Questions and Distractions
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Questions and Distractions
I think you nailed it about Russ being a lot worse off at home than anyone suspected. And I'm so glad you like my method of dropping new clues as we go along, since I'm going to keep doing it, lol.If you knew how difficult it is to learn Danish, you wouldn't suggest it. But even worse: once you've learnt it, few Danes let you speak it for more than ten seconds, before they switch to English. Like one British guy said to a friend of mine: even the homeless man begging on the street spoke to me in English when I tried to practise my Danish on him. -
I happen to agree with you, Russell isn't behaving very rationally. But considering he has sort of escaped from the mental prison of a very controlling father and has suddenly had to face some unexpected truths about his twin and himself, maybe we can forgive the occasional freakish behavior. But even I get the urge to shake him now and then, lol.

Mixed Midnight Emotions
Timothy M. commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Mixed Midnight Emotions
Hmm, I guess Kier is to blame for not keeping his dogs under control, and if he had reacted faster and shouted at the dog and apologized, things may have gone better with BtB. BUT she stepped over the line once again, assuming that she has any right to demand Kier leave or any say in this matter. If her husband to be doesn't grow a set of ball and puts his foot down, I'll lose all respect for him - and so will BtB and she'll keep on being a bitch until she's killed any love he has for her (hopefully before the wedding). Oh and I'm glad I'm not the only one to dislike BtB, please join us in the forum, peanutbut ter, and we can rant against her together. I spotted Oli and Buddy at once. It was almost a shame Kier didn't hit on Oli, knowing what we do from reading Wolf. But then I guess we'd have a huge dog fight on our hands. Better to have avoided that ! But I wonder if Kier's dog approves of Robin so much he's trying to keep other boys away. -
Nice to see Will learnt something from the events in Norway and he probably also became rather protective of JJ because of the abuse. Maybe Will also learnt from Wade's mistake in getting involved with Alex? I'm the eternal optimist and expect Zach to be thrilled about Will being at the game. Clever and kind of Darius to go as well, since two cousins sitting with Frank is less suspicious. However, I do predict that Zach and Will may have a talk about the deal about fucking around, and this could cause some hurt. Especially since Will actually doesn't want to be with anyone but Zach, so he could easily be faithful to his boyfriend, except Zach cannot pay the price. And if Will suddenly turns everyone down, saying he's in a relationship, he'll need a fake boyfriend to parade around - and I'm not sure Zach will like that either. I'm looking forward to Zach being the narrator in ch 8.

It's a very good point, I'm glad you took it up here and in the forum. I agree we haven't seen the last of the father of the twins, but his original intention of separating them and keeping Russ under control has failed, at least.
-
Thank you, it's wonderful to inspire such praise. I hope I can live up to it until the end of the story.
-
I love it when my readers anticipate me. You're quite right about Russ needing a new email account now that he's communicating again.I'm glad you're enjoying the story, and I hope you'll keep commenting and asking questions on here or in the forum. I like to be inspired by input from readers.

You're quite right in your interpretation, Russ managed to avoid the matter of his small BDSM freak-out, and Jacob has no idea - so far.I think Jacob's worry about Russ fainting was fair too, and I'm not sure he'll let the issue be brushed off just like that, depending on whether it happens again. However, dizzy spells and even fainting can happen from shock caused by pain or emotion, especially if you have low blood pressure. So the explanation need not be anything serious. I never thought anyone would say my chapters are too short, lol. But I plead guilty to doing a tiny cliff hanger. I'm writing as fast as I can.

Chapter 22 More Than Observing
Timothy M. commented on Daddydavek's story chapter in Chapter 22 More Than Observing
I liked the idea that Abel's granddad realized that his son wasn't the only one to blame for his behavior as a young man. -
Prompt 239 - First Line

I never saw this before, but I'm guessing this was the initial prompt response which led to So Little Magic Left ? It's even more fun, when you know that story. -
Prompt 210 - Grim Reaper
Timothy M. commented on Mann Ramblings's story chapter in Prompt 210 - Grim Reaper
This was hilarious. I loved the idea of a punk reaper getting a kick from touching bad guys, and being annoyed the silly girl went to heaven. -
Tillykke med fødselsdagen from your Danish fan sorry I'm a day late, hope you had a great time on the opposite side of the world from me (more or less).

Thank you, Gary, for leaving such a nice review. You're getting to know Russell and Jacob quite well, and I'm pleased you think Russ has improved already. I'm glad you approve of the decision to tell this story strictly from Russell's POV. There are drawbacks, but I think the advantages outweigh them. And I'm trying to oppose the view Russell has of himself and people around him by letting them act or say things in a manner which hopefully changes Russell's perception along with ours. Plus I hope Jacob will seem more like a real person (with faults and quirks of his own) as Russell gets closer to him and develops a more balanced view of his man. Right now, Russ is still too much in the adoring puppy stage, for me at least.
-
I hadn't thought about it like that, but you're right. Jacob is a very hands-on guy, expressing his feelings physically as well as verbally. For right now it's what Russell needs, he has been starved of affection in every way and every touch and word fill the empty hole in his heart. (If this imagery sparks naughty thoughts, rest assured you're not alone, lol.)
-
Welcome in the club of older guys shaking their heads at the antics of teenagers, LOL. I can't promise Russell won't have small relapses now and then, but I hope you'll see improvement as the story moves along - and that goes for my narrating skills as well.
-
Me too, LOL. I'm glad you think it was believable, I've always been rather level headed and controlled, so having to imagine and depict this sort of irrational freaking is a challenge.
-
I may have to write an alternate version for you (and AC maybe) to satisfy those urges, LOL.

Unfortunately I slept so well, I even missed his cell phone going off. Jacob let me sleep while he took a quick shower, and woke me up with a gentle shake and a kiss. “Rise and shine, Russell. It’s half past eight and we need some breakfast.” I grumbled and tried to burrow under the duvet. Next thing I knew, it was ripped away and I was naked on the bed. He rolled me over and laughed. “Nice morning wood, but that’s not what I meant. Come on, sleepy head, or the next step will be a glass

Can we get some Zach in the next chapter, please?

Bad Oli, cheating on Buddy and in front of him too ! But I guess it's understandable in a way. Somehow I almost feel more sorry for Stuart, it must be a bit of a shock to be chased out of bed by a furious wolf.

Waiting For Wild Horses
Timothy M. commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Waiting For Wild Horses
Wow Bay and Zander dropping by in the same chapter, awesome. I'm glad Robin got to see Kieran doing something worth while for a change. I'm going to introduce short cuts: BiB = Becca-is-a-Bitch, which I can add to subsequent reviews. But I never thought Kier's cousin would stoop so low. Hope he feels contrite for long enough to actually tell BtB (Becca-the-Bitch) to stop her nasty badmouthing about Kier. -
Yeah I look forward to the twins getting back together too, and I'm actually working my way towards it in the chapter I'm writing at the moment. But there are a few other matters to deal with first.

I had a lot of doubts about the whole email exchange scene, so I'm relieved people like it. Written conversation is almost harder to do well than actual dialogue - which I dislike writing because I find it difficult to avoid sounding artificial. Luckily my main beta reader (AC) gave good advice on how to tighten it up and which parts worked well. He loved Russ declaring himself and the Chris email, too, and I have to admit it makes me smile whenever I comes across is again.
