  1. Tillykke med fødselsdagen ! Hope you have a demonishly fun day.
  2. When you're eighteen years old, about to graduate from high school, and have a long summer of relaxation and fun in front of you, the last thing you want is for your whole world to be turned upside down. And you certainly don't want it to happen the way it did to me. Loud shouting from the hall woke me around midnight, and before I'd worked out the agitated voices belonged to my father and my twin brother, the latter had left the house and slammed the front door behind him. I jumped out of bed
  3. After a huge row between his twin brother and their father, Russell’s mother sends him off to stay with her cousin in Europe, with no explanation. Reluctantly, the shy nineteen-year-old faces the issues which have kept him in his brother’s shadow for the past five years. It’s a twisted path of denial, anguish and unexpected joy, as Russell struggles to deal with long buried emotions and hopes.
  4. Nice development both romantically and with the cousins. Poor Dennis, how embarrassing. I hope him being engaged to Abel will please his parents and improve relations with his brother.
  5. He, he I also noticed the possibility of a three way, with glee. I think it will happen - and be damn hot too. But the outcome will be to cement the fact that Alex and Wade are friends who fuck and Matt and Wade are a future couple, provided they both develop the way we hope. And Matt's last insecurities will vanish with the knowledge that both Wade and Alex consider him best in bed.

    Big Changes

Oh no, no, no. I meant it as a joke. I didn't really want Buddy to be a reverse shifter. Oh man this is so cruel. But I guess it's sort of funny too. In a quite crazy logical manner. Oh damn.
  7. Nope, you're right. But I think most of us are using the ostrich tactic on this one. Hiding our heads in the sand hoping it'll go away. I'm crossing my fingers that Kitt is right and the antibodies from Matt's kidney problems are still messing up the HIV test, and that further testing will prove Matt to be OK. But it might still be something of a wake up call for the whole CAP family. And Cody and Kevin are still positive and have to deal with it.
  8. You're quite right, but you forget a few important points. Wade didn't want to be non-monogamous, and he resented Matt for not feeling the same way. Wade usually only indulged in being with other people, when he was upset with Matt (as far as I recall). In fact Wade quickly realized that he'd only have sex with guys who'd attract him emotionally, and his affairs had much more potential to be a danger to his relationship with Matt. This made Wade pull away from those guys or he'd include Matt in a threesome, like with Sean and that guy from his childhood, Trevor or something. Kip is probably the only guy Wade managed to have a non-serious fling with. Wade being emotianally attracted to Alex is no threat to his future relationship with Matt. As I've said before, Matt should be happy to know, someone is keeping Wade occupied in Boston, as this prevents him from getting attracted to anyone else. Now that Matt knows Alex isn't a threat in the long run (and I think Wade is spot on in his analysis), he should be even more relieved. And he'll probably get to fuck Wade more often than if they kept to the original deal of visiting once a month. And on top of it we get to see Matt having fun in Chicago - once he's cleared of the HIV scare, of course. So all in all I'd say Wade's personality is a lot more monogamous than Matt.
  9. Awww that's unfair We want to know all about Abel's warm fuzzy erotically romantic memory. Nice chapter otherwise, I can totally see Dennis joining the crew, also to get away from his obnoxious older brother.

    Chapter 22

I know it's a callous thing to say, but why didn't the doctors ask about organ donation ? This would be a normal procedure when someone so fit as Greg is brain dead. Unless his kidneys and liver was ruptured due to the impact. And I'm with dughlas here, Luke is going to take it hard having missd Greg's last day alive.

    Chapter 12

Damn, I was just getting happy for Sasha and now this. It's unbearable. You managed to lul him and us into a happy dream, with Lacey being so nice and understanding, and now James will destroy it all. How could Lacey be so stupid as to let him go up to Sasha's room alone. She's the only one who understands there's something wrong with James, but even Lacey does not know the full extent of his cruel soul. So evil, so sad.
  12. I like Robin aleady, hope he resists Kieran for quite a while. I wonder if his cousin kept his future brother-in-law a secret on purpose, because he knows of Kieran's reputation.
  13. I don't understand how you can reinterpret Wade's actual words to mean that sentence above. “I don’t love him as much as I love you,” Wade said, emphasizing the present tense. “I don’t know if I love him at all. I know I’m infatuated with him, but I don’t know if it’s love. Like I said, I have fun with him, and we’re good together.” “Until you fuck,” Matt said, much too bitterly. Wade sighed. “I’m here, trying to tell you how sorry I am for hurting you. How it’s eating at me like a cancer. And I’m trying to tell you how much I love you, because I do.” He leaned up and kissed Matt. “This deal with Alex is fun. It’s exciting. But it’s not what we have.” Luckily I don't have to worry about all those bitter slammings of Wade making him out to be the evil guy, because the story and Mark's comments tell a different tale. But I do feel sad and sorry for you all, since it seems to be destroying your enjoyment of Flux. Hopefully you'll be happier when CAP moves on to the next stage.
  14. Well it seems as if the lively cousins will bring some fun and color into Abel's bland life. And he'll probably be good for them too. I liked their mother for being OK with their intimacy but upset with their lack of discretion. This lack of control could also have a bearing on their ability to hide their telepathy.

    July 4th

Ohhh embarassing - but sometimes parents have to bring up the subject to help their kid. I like Sean a lot, it's nice to have a portrait of an older gay man who's kind and helpful and not some awful predator.

    More questions

Well I'm guessing they don't want to call too much attention to the case, but are hoping someone may have seen the assassin come out of the woods and get into his car somewhere. Poor Dean, one failed attempt with a silly girl, and he's turned off sex, but I can understand why. Being too well endowed isn't always a blessing. Though being able to blow himself sure compensates.

    Blood

Damn K.C. you took the words out of my mouth. I liked the police interview part, so nice to see it written with sensible and propely behaved officers. They can obviously tell Dean is honest and trying to be helpful and worthy of trust. Nice with the gay neighbor tolerant part too. But the last part made a small tinkle of worry appear.
  18. Well I guess I'll go with the obvious and say this story starts with a bang but it certainly doesn't fizzle out at the end. I like crime stories and this one seems to be quite complex right from the start with lots of secrets about to unfold.
  19. Meanwhile back to the plot... I liked this chapter for showing how well Abel adapted and went back to work with only a few glitches. The four month jump in time was fine, as I can imagine the routine which probably helped him stay focused. Nothing like routine to cope with big upheavals in your life. Getting to appreciate his job more also helped. Plus practisng his skills on the crew members kept him from being bored. And getting off regularly in the group shower solved another problem. But of course the news of going back to Earth and the possible addition of two horny cousins was quite welcome.
  20. It's up and I'm doing a small victory dance right now. Thanks Mark

    Chapter 39

I love being vindicated. Wade's coming to his senses happened even faster than I thought it would. Oh and I sincerely hope Wade is right about the test.
  22. I loved this chapter about telepathy and telekinesis. It made me think of Anne McCaffrey's Rowan series which is built on similar concept (and trust me the comparison is meant as a compliment). The part about his dad was intriguing (especially as I've read the more detailed explanation), and it was interesting in contrast to Abel''s self-control. The sex was sweet and I liked the cuddling, since I guess poor Abel is starved of physical contact. I also made guesses as to his likely forays into intimacy with the rest of the crew, now we know they were just waiting for him to initiate it (probably hoping too ). Bringing the action with the surroundings to an almost complete halt in the story made sense, as we experienced Abel's need to absorb all of the complex information along with him. The direct link to the A.I. was a brilliant twist - and I chuckled at the HAL name.

    Chapter 1

Funnily I stayed away from the story due to the strong warning. I now feel stupid, because the 'sex between family members' is actually a very minor issue in this story (and I've read all the 14 chapters posted so far). And it's not even as if I'm normally revolted by such content. I actually think you're almost doing the story a disservice with having so heavy emphasis in the notes, because we expect much worse and my reaction was sort of 'oh is that all'. You should advertise for all the awesome content instead. Anyway, I'm so glad I finally managed to read it, as the whole concept captivated me right from the start. I love SciFi and also telepathy is another favorite, so this one is going to be a must follow from now on. As several people have remarked, the whole background stuff along with the explanation of all male ships is brilliantly done. I'm not going to comment on the Ice Prince issue since I've already read ch 2, but it was actually cute to read about his frustrations when you know the explanation.
  24. It's interesting to see how high expectations are concerning Wade and how harshly he's condemned for mistakes and uncharacteristic behavior. Even when he's shown to realize and regret it fairly quickly. I cannot think of any other character in CAP, who is so aware of his own failings, so honest about them and so quick to acknowledge and apologize and correct his behavior or take action to repair the damage. Yes, Wade behaved selfishly for a few weeks due to his infatuation with Alex. How about Matt behaving selfishly and badly for MONTHS after 9/11 ? Or JJ being a selfish brat for years ? Or shall we talk about Claire and Marie being snobs and disregarding Will's feelings and being unable to admit they were at fault ? And I'm sure lots of people can point to instances where Will was wrong and unable to admit it. I'm not even gonna start on Brad and Robbie... For my part I find it refreshing to see Wade being shown as a human being who loses control and does spontaneous and maybe stupid things. I still consider Alex to be more likely to end up as a long term friend, and I hope Matt will realize this and give Wade time to work things out. In fact it's probably good they each have something they'll need to forgive each other for (Matt has Brad and Alex, and Wade the whole period after 9/11 - in fact most of college). I'm actually impressed at how well Matt has handled the situation so far, he's almost redeemed himslf in my eyes. Plus if Will can forgive him and come to like him, I'm sort of bound to do so as well. Thank you again Mark, for giving us a Wade POV chapter.

    Chapter 38

Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the Wade, I like and have missed. And for showing Will in a positive light through the eyes of Wade and Matt. Though I guess the word positive suddenly has bad connotations now, eh ?
