Prompt 611 Do you think we can do it again?
Timothy M. posted new chapter in Timothy’s Terrible Prompt Stories
“Do you think we can do it again?” Jasper rotated a ball in his left hand and winced as Carolyn dug her fingers into a sore spot on his shoulder. She was standing behind him after offering her chair to Maria. The two girls were having their own chat, while Nelson and Tony listened to Eric and Jasper discussing baseball. “Our team will need to bring their best game. They almost had us last time.” Eric, who was sitting next to Jasper on the couch, pointed at the stats he’d printed from his lap- 15 comments

Well, at least Lex will be able to judge what manner of guy his father is better than anyone else would. But I wonder if he has half siblings. I'm not surprised about the marriage at all. Ian wouldn't want Lex to drive off on his bike, because he thought it wasn't serious between them. Ian is clever enough to realize he has to open his heart first.

Chapter 118 A Long Walk on a Short Pier
Timothy M. commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 118 A Long Walk on a Short Pier
i agree about Robbie telling Nicola as a defense against his suicidal depression. I think he's scared of what he might do and at the same time he can't fight the attraction of oblivion. Nicola will be his life-line and for once she can be applauded for doing what she is best at: sticking her nose in other people's business and telling them what to do. -

You may regret finding out. -
Well, going through the wall turned out to be a bad idea. They should have know the instinctive avoidance by the animals was a sign of bad stuff. Let's hope they can get out of the loop.

You would have thought the King and his helpers would have learnt from their earlier mistakes that brute force, whether mental or physical, doesn't work on these guys. They always come up with a counter. And every event makes them a closer knit group.

Um, I would have thought that the official pardon and apology for the wrongs done to Alan Turing in 2009 (by Gordon Brown, the prime minister at the time), would be fairly big news in UK, but maybe not. Plus later the government officially pardoned and eradicated the convictions given to gay men who had done nothing wrong in relation to modern law. But you're probably right that this only impacted those of us who already cared. I got tears in my eyes when I saw that apology hanging on the wall in Bletchley park.

I can understand why Eric feels uncomfortable as a guest. Hopefully, he's got his laptop, so he has something to occupy him, when he is alone. And I guess it's less of a stress being by himself, than if the guys were around him most of the time. Brian did a good job of coming to grips with his own issues (with the help of his wife) and apologizing to Eric. But how could he not be aware of the sad history of gay persecution in Britain, with the Alan Turing film, apology, and law stuff.

I think it's a little bit funny, because I believe crocodiles are much too clever to swallow anything they can't digest. Maybe it's a memento of the person wearing the shoe, before the croc ate them.

I have the feeling the Order wants to become Serai themselves and are experimenting with blood transfusions or something. They'll need to be put down after they've rescued D and Ivan. Let's hope Nico got the correct way into the dungeon from the doctor's head, including the placement of traps.

Absolutely amazing. And I'm happy you didn't skimp on Lex' preparations as most authors do. Just perfect.

LOL, well the next two chapters are with Val, so we should stay on schedule with once a week for now. -

Thanks, Kitt. Your suggestion in a comment to an earlier chapter also took root and is about to sprout. Stay tuned. -

@ColumbusGuy Tak min ven (I don't quote your comment, to make it easier for you to read the reply.) You have some very good points about auras, gender and Ayil. Unfortunately, I can't say much without risking a major spoiler. However, I will say only certain kinds of Angels get to chose their gender, and most of the angels in my A.I. stories are genderless (the white, blue and green angels). Cupids are born with gender, (right, Aditus?) and the Guardians have whatever gender they were as humans. -

I'm glad you liked it and found it with @Geron Kees help. I'll do better next week. -
I messed up when posting chapter 6, but I hope this comment will cause notifications for the readers who follow the story.

LOL, thanks for giving it a go from the start. I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story too. Did you read Cupid Central ? It's such a fun story, even with the potential spoiler here. -

How did you even find chapter 6, when it's not on the Story Update list. But no, you need to read Cupid Central by Aditus and my A.I. trilogy before attempting this story. -

Theliel sat cross-legged on their new king size box bed and looked at the different test tubes laid out in front of him. On the left – Diego’s green, on the right – Azrael’s swirling purple vials. He hadn’t seen such different samples since he evaluated the Angel / Imp team, but he instinctively knew they’d match anyway. Seeing Diego standing beside Azrael had been stunning. Their auras reminded him of a butterfly’s wings. They’d even become iridescent when they mixed. He opened his portable

Richie should have told Gabe's father about being hit. I wish he'd said something to the teacher about any stress being due to his so-called father refusing to honor his mother's wishes. He needs all the allies he can find. I'm glad Richie keeps telling the sperm donor what he thinks of him. It's best to get all that anger out in the open.

Oh, you should definitely keep reading. This story gets better every chapter, and you'll miss all the parts if you don't continue.
-
That's a good point. Hopefully he can also use his laptop while lying down.

Interesting explanation about the teen. I hope Lex is able to sleep on his stomach. I'm glad that part is over and they can focus on becoming intimate.
