  1. Flies are everywhere, even if your house is clean. Spiders are the best way to keep the numbers down. At least she looked before drinking from the mug.

    Getting Ready

I hate packing and buying new clothes, so I can sort of understand Geoff. But if he didn't have so many old clothes, it might be easier. Let's hope Tony can help him discard stuff and get new things without getting fed up with his boyfriend's issues. But at least Geoff brought himself out of worrying needlessly a couple of times, so that's progress. Zoe is cool and she cares about her brother behind the teasing.
  3. Think of your poor cat having to wash the stink off with her tongue.
  4. Poor spider, drowning in a dirty puddle of water while all the nasty bacteria-carrying flies sit on the ceiling and cheer. I had breakfast with a friend once, and suddenly there was a loud plop. She looked into her tea mug and yelled 'Eewww!' A big spider had fallen from the ceiling into the hot tea.
  5. Dialogue is difficult. Sticking bits of action or characteristic behavior around the dialogue happens naturally for me. It may be because I'm better at visualizing and reading than processing information via the spoken word (listening or talking).
  6. For ages I've had trouble doing more than one @mention at a time in the same post. This problem has disappeared, and I think it was after you did the editor update. I'm so grateful I don't have to work around this issue any more. It's well worth me having to edit all those old posts with double line spacing I come across, because I can't stand seeing all the empty spaces.

    Chapter 24

I agree with Ian - they need to make sure they have plenty of 'us' time.
  8. No one could ever hate any story you've written. Dislike certain aspects, perhaps, but not the story as a whole.
  9. Does this mean I should start checking my inbox ?

    Chapter 21

I'm surprised none of them noticed the lack of agriculture in the plains. This means there are either no people or there are only small groups of hunter-gatherers. The image of Tan in a tail fight had me .

    Chapter 28

Oh, wow, thank you for giving us another chapter. Guy is sweet and he keeps the protectiveness within reasonable limits. Riley is wonderful at making Mick comfortable with cuddling. We didn't see much of Takashi but I'm sure he's doing stuff to keep them all safe. I'm glad Mick is considerate towards Zeru who is the only nice fae we've met at the King's Court so far. The teacher was a hoot, but very good at her job. She worked out what the problem was and gave Mich the tools to solve the glamour challenge. I'm guessing he may need to practice for a day or two to make sure it hold up under stress.
  12. Thanks, Def. I'm glad all my readers enjoyed the visit to the card shop. The tattoo will hopefully open the door and the rest make Theo realize Sablo is sincere. Diego feels the same as you, he'll be exhausted by the end of all this drama.
  13. @ColumbusGuy I'm sure Eric will be happy to have an ally who can keep up with Rob's banter and his father's dry wit. Nelson will hopefully tease Eric more considerately than an older brother. Although, Rob is not too bad, since he's also quite protective of Eric. Sorry about making you miss pancakes and scrambled eggs. Don't you have an IHOP or something similar in your town?
  14. LOL, I'm glad it made your Sunday better. Hope the next chapter will do so as well.
  15. Yeah, I'm not a morning person but if you serve breakfast at 10 I'm all for the full experience. No baked beans or kippers, though. That line is one of my favorite too, so thank you for mentioning it.
  16. LOL, you're not the only one who thinks so. Maybe when he goes to college in California. If the right person came along I think he'd be open to the idea, but Rob's still mostly straight.
  17. You're welcome, dugh. Thank you for being a faithful reader, even when plagues by migraines.
  18. All due to @aditus' great writing, @Valkyrie's editing and a few naughty bits from me. I'm glad you approve.
  19. Me too, he's always good for a laugh.
  20. I'm delighted to have introduced yet another GA member to the SATW comics. Please read them from the first comic to get the full experience and understanding of Denmark and the rest of the gang. Yep, I had help 'borrowing' a picture of Brother Denmark for my avatar. @droughtquake was it you ? Or did you just suggest I use the one with the beer bottle ?
  21. Yep - almost worth the initial trouble, although I think Theo and Sablo will try to have less catastrophic arguments in the future. I'll leave the coffee question up to @aditus - although Danes are known for their taste for quality coffee, and in copious amounts. Finland and Norway have us beaten, though. https://satwcomic.com/coffee-thief https://satwcomic.com/coffee
  22. Yikes, I guess we're going for horror stories this week. Good luck with the 'jungle' We could use some of that rain here, everything is dry in Scandinavia, and Sweden and Norway have already had several forest fires.
  23. Well, he still had to bear the pain while the tattoo was done, but once he got back to GC, he healed quickly. But because he went corporal and got the 'wounds' in the human realm, the 'scars' stayed. And he did worry a bit about Theo not approving.
  24. It's fun to see the different answers to the same questions. I'd be interested in knowing which answers made people guess a specific person - but perhaps that should wait until you reveal the author.
  25. Of course the story isn't over, since the main character is Diego. He'll be the focus of the next chapter. I'm not terribly keen on tattoo's either, but Sablo had to do something epic. The good thing about being a Guardian angel is that if Theo hadn't approved, Sablo could have gotten rid of the tattoo fairly easily (but painfully). Any wounds the Guardians get during training or combat will heal without a trace. So he could have asked his brother to cut out the tattoo.
