    My family has shrunk over the last few years and scattered over the country but the meal will just be a smaller version of when I would feed 15. Roast stuffed turkey ( I have the meat department cut the bird in half from nose to tail ) mashed potatoes, mashed turnip (some call them rutabegas, I don't really know the difference) fresh asparagras done with a light coat of olive oil, seasoned and broiled, gravy of course, and pumpkin pie and Ricekrem to finish.

    I "liked" the chapter only for your bravery in the telling. I would whole heartedly like to take a Louisville Slugger to the people who have hurt you.

    I would be interested to know more about the medical aspects befor forming an opinion. Would a male's body be able to produce the right hormones or would they need to be supplemented? Would a pregnancy drain a man of calcium the way it does a woman? Would a man suffer PPD? If PPD might be an issue, no way would I want my husband to carry. He was moody enough when I was the one pregnant!

    You are starting to sound like me! Copies on my laptop, a thumb drive, a disc, and in the cloud of everything I have ever written, beta'd or edited! LOL Even I don't know who the hell Owen is yet! Add bacon and you got a deal! Chipper got his name not only from being his son but his initials also being CHIP. Nicknames like that are really hard to shake as you grow up. Just ask anyone who wanted to get rid of a childhood nickname they found embarrassing once a teen. I know a lady now in her 20's who's grandmother still calls her "Katie baby". Don't count on it.

    I recall the conversation well(I just read it a day or two back) but there is also the fact that vampires are considered young until well past 100 (another convo from the story).

    Ok, finally caught up with the chapters, but I haven't even begun to read the first 8 pages of the forum yet. I have SOOOOOOO many questions. Write faster woman! Now - as for the rest of you hungry birds. Unless I managed to miss a chapter or something in my haste to catch up, I don't recall any comments in the story about how Kel came to be catatonic or how long he has remained so. I have a guess, but lets not speculate out loud too much. So where did you guys get that he has been catatonic for more than an hundred years? And Drew, I would advise against speculating out loud too much about your Marine friend. DADT may be a thing of the past, but every damned Marine I have ever met is very protective of his honor, and hints that he might not be totally honest with his fiance may be met with, shall we say, a bit of vehement protest?
