Just what sort of bug crawled up Northmans posterior? Seems like he is making it a point to oppose anything that calls attention to CJ. Isn't attention and how you use it one of the goals of diplomacy on this level? Advising our boy to turn down anything already approved by the higher ups seems like it would be worse for Northman than it would for CJ. I can see it now. " I am sorry Madam Secretary, but Northman told me not to do the interview even though everyone else likes the idea. Seems he thinks it will prevent me from doing an adequate job at my official duties." Yeah the words flatulence and houses of worship come to mind!

Perhaps if all those disgruntled employees approached the twits boss by letter or email, the shear volume alone should spark a review.

There are only 2 people I have ever hung up on ( telemarketers not included) but the one guy is a repeat offender and I have ended calls with him frequently. He's the one says I am over sensitive and he was not being rude.

Too bad more peeps aren't like Cecil. There are idiots out there that make us Berties feel the way we do, and most never find a Cecil to help balance the world for us! Well done.

I have a new favorite leftover turkey recipe. I shred the meat, mix with cheese and salsa, wrap in burrito wrappers, cover with more cheese and salsa and bake till heated thru, but nothing beats a turkey and cranberry sandwich!

With the exception of when you leave us hanging by our fingernails from some slick rock. I think you enjoy the outrage and watching us sharpen our pitchforks! I believe the entertainment industry calls them groupies. Will you ever tell us just what Northmans issue is with CJ? I can't see him holding his position if he is like that with everyone at the embassy.

I guess I now qualify as back to full time. Today is the 7th, and I have moved 6 horses so far this month, and have 3 more scheduled this weekend. Still get pretty wiped out by the end of the day, but am ready to go again in the morning. A month ago 1 move had me sleeping for the better part of 2 days, so I guess I am making progress.

I am thinking this situation will further Dirks goal as expressed in chapter 2, be. Ice to humans. He will get to see how the human half live. I am thinking a.total of 7 visits.from the gods. Six.stripes, with the 7th connecting them all, effectively giving him a sock! -
Hubby and I are into small towns and camping, so we decided on hitting all 50 states, primarily by driving the "old" roads. We have hit every state east of the Mississippi, traveled US 1 also called the Boston Post road from Maine to Orlando. This fall we are planning the last bit from Orlando to Key West. We've also done the Old Cumberland Rd and bits of Rt 66. Lots of America to see yet, and I am guessing Hawaii may be a rental car and hotels sort of trip. I like comfy camping and it would cost a small fortune to ship the gear there and back!
