There are only 2 people I have ever hung up on ( telemarketers not included) but the one guy is a repeat offender and I have ended calls with him frequently. He's the one says I am over sensitive and he was not being rude.

I have to admit, I was not that polite. I told the dude to call back when he grew up.

Good God! Don't encourage them! I used to comment religiously on just about everything I read, until a comment about an unexpected plot twist was met with a huge amount of animosity. I stopped commenting altogether for a long time when the author told me ( in open forum) how horrible I was to make that comment. I had just started to comment again on stories from authors I had little interaction with when another reader chewed me out ( again publicaly) for leading the thread off topic. Makes wanting to comment unpalatable. I am a big proponent of praise publicly criticize privately. Not going to be nice? Say it in private. That's what messaging is for! The two individuals that were nasty with me have caused many authors to get nothing but a like or other reaction icon from me. I simply don't feel like being a target. I will hold my comments for authors I know will take my comments as intended.

I have a new favorite leftover turkey recipe. I shred the meat, mix with cheese and salsa, wrap in burrito wrappers, cover with more cheese and salsa and bake till heated thru, but nothing beats a turkey and cranberry sandwich!

I guess I now qualify as back to full time. Today is the 7th, and I have moved 6 horses so far this month, and have 3 more scheduled this weekend. Still get pretty wiped out by the end of the day, but am ready to go again in the morning. A month ago 1 move had me sleeping for the better part of 2 days, so I guess I am making progress.

Hubby and I are into small towns and camping, so we decided on hitting all 50 states, primarily by driving the "old" roads. We have hit every state east of the Mississippi, traveled US 1 also called the Boston Post road from Maine to Orlando. This fall we are planning the last bit from Orlando to Key West. We've also done the Old Cumberland Rd and bits of Rt 66. Lots of America to see yet, and I am guessing Hawaii may be a rental car and hotels sort of trip. I like comfy camping and it would cost a small fortune to ship the gear there and back!
