1. It was not a bother. Never be sorry for starting a lively discussion 2. It is always good to look at all sides of an issue, and legality is a side to this one. 3. Your past employment history aside, fact is you can get into trouble if you obtain DNA by covert means. I am not saying you should or should not, just that you put yourself in a compromised position if you get caught.

Ethics may be sketchy, but the law is not. It is actually quite clear in America. No consent and probable cause must be shown to a judge, and you better cross your fingers the judge will agree. Most are loathe to invade a persons privacy without damn good reason. Something tells me "I want to know if he is my son" is not good enough.

Obtaining and testing his DNA without his consent is not legal. That is why law enforcement are required to obtain warrants to collect DNA without the subject's consent.

Ok, adult student decides she wants to do an out of state eventing show. Weekend deal, drive Friday, compete Saturday, return home Sunday. Big expense for her. We agree I will pay for my own hotel room (my idea, she was willing to pay, but she is already paying for transport of the horse, training fees, competition fees, and stable fees.) So, we leave Friday am. Sunday I ask hubby to pick clothes for himself and get suitcase from storage. Monday no clothes, no suitcase. I have all my clothes picked, folded, and on the corner of the dresser. Tuesday am suitcase is out, he took some of the hint. No clothes tho. So, my stuff is into the case, I shuffle thru his closet and dresser, find shirts, underwater, socks, swim suit. Fold and pack. Go to grab jeans for him. Empty drawer. Empty laundry basket. Nothing in the hamper either. I am now very afraid to go down to the basement to see just how many pairs of pants he has stuffed into the washing machine.

Worst part is the dye injection, similar to cortisone injection. You got this.

Kids! They try our patience but they are so worth it!

And that was a relatively small fire when compared to the wildfires in the pacific northwest that have consumed entire towns! Much respect to the firefighters like @WolfM that literally risk their lives with little between them and the fire but a few hoses, axes and digging tools.

Try em with a horse trailer!

I HATE rotary/roundabout/traffic circles, no matter what you call them. In Jersey some I've right of way to those in the circle, others to those entering, with no indication which till you are at the entry. All it takes is one nervous Nelly to back traffic up irreparably at rush hour.

I am happy to read how you feel, as it shows you have survived yet another out of control fire. You write what you feel, we will read.

And for first responders and the like it is important. I take the yearly 1st Responder level CPR/AED recertification every year, to the point that if I know the instructor scheduled I get tasked with coaching less adept students. The one and only time I needed to do CPR on a real person, training kicked in and I did not need to think about hand placement, rate, or anything else, just did what needed doing. Damned if my very first instructor wasn't tight too. He told us if you don't break a rib, you are not doing it right. I broke 2. The man survived, and complained, saying he hates me. I told him I hoped it was a long and happy hate!

I really could have used this over the past 3 days.

Perhaps Lola will start demanding to have her say like the rest of his characters do! -

IDK. We need to ask @Carlos Hazday if Lola will ever go off. But she might have while the boys were in Mexico, we still don't have that story yet! -

A gun, in and of itself is neither good nor evil. So too would be magical ability. It all lies in the hands of the madge. -

Even your feel good chapters leave me with more questions. If the EC has at least one shadow madge, why are they shrouded in so much secrecy? Why do they have a reputation of such evil? I am sure all the other affinities have their share of bad boys. So why do one or two bad apples give the shadow madges such a bad name? And Ty, a fire madge and very strong wolf, felt the need of a handgun to clear the apartment? Cy really needs to become an equal with his bear. He defers too much. Write faster mister! -
He knows he has been exposed. There is no way to tell if he was previously exposed based on the info you put here. If his exposure was limited to when he took his mom in, it would be too early in the incubation period to show up in testing yet. It's good his initial test was negative, but a period of quarantine and retesting is needed before he is declared negative. HR knows what the CDC tell them, but to insist on a second test is only prudent before returning to work, potentially exposing coworkers. The big question is, have any of the people mentioned been vaccinated other than the one daughter? Does it suck? Hell yeah. Does it make sense? Hell yeah.

LMAO the horse liniment one I haven't heard, but judging by the way my hands react to the stuff I can't even imagine how horrible it must feel on someone's dick!

I have an issue with all the nonsense I see published by the anti vaxers. Yesterday I saw a posting promoting Ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of the D variant. For those of you who have never heard of it, we treat intestinal worms in horses with Ivermectin. Yes, it is the same stuff some idiot now wants to take to prevent covid! I figure it must prevent covid illnesses by killing off those stupid enough to take it for covid.

I was wondering how you were going to manage the name thing!

The wild weather here missed us completely,, but some areas not far from the barn were devastated.. My days are starting to blend together.two of my customers have decided to ride a weekday show series. Weekday shows combined with hubby working 4 day weeks have my rythem off. If it wasn't for the calendar app on my phone I wouldn't know if I was coming or going!

Nope. Your feelings are your feelings and voicing them is never wrong. 💖
