I am looking forward to having just my own business to run.

I can honestly say quitting was the best decision I made in a long time. I am half way thru my two week notice, and new issues are being shunted to my replacements. Yes, plural. Boss man could not find an individual from within willing to do everything I have been, so it is being split to three peeps.

Furgus' attitude toward humans makes me think Jimmy may be forced to choose between pack and mate. He may have chosen a human to carry his children, but she is obviously not his mate. How will he feel about Jimmy having a human mate?

Mushrooms! Sauteed, stuffed, in stuffing, in risotto, stews, soups... A friend tried to talk me into going mushroom hunting with her as they are cropping up everywhere around here this year. I refused. I know just enough about mushrooms to know I don't know enough about mushrooms and will do my hunting at the green grocer!

If you're just looking to eliminate slippery moss on them try bleach and water. If they're discolored and you're looking to actually clean them, muriatic acid cleans a fireplace very nicely it might work for your patio.

In fairness, offering editing is frequently met with major attitude. One author replied to a pm offering my help with basically, to paraphrase, if he aint good enough for me to not read him. Was a great story but riddled with typos and basic grammatical errors. Another "gentleman" would comment on every error i missed, publically. A third would argue every correction I suggested. If someone asks, i am glad to help, but i dont offer any more. I'll go play with Rick's duck!

This is sauce season. Takes about 2 days from tomato to finished product, so i make huge batches and freeze in meal sized tubs. By frost i usually have enough to last to first tomatoes next year. Fruits go in season but not in that sort of quantity. With all this time on my hands with the pandemic, maybe i will make jelly this year. Haven't done that in ages, and found what looks like a good sugar free recipe. A single batch first to see if it firms up. I have not had good luck with sugar free jellies. They tend to come out more like syrup for me. Lol is great on pancakes!
