Its so nice when peeps leave me alone and let me do my job. Annual fire inspection went off without a hitch and we passed with flying colors. Now, if i can just get them to call if a smoke detector beeps and not use it for a piñata...

Wanna hear a good one? A little background. Summer camp has been a big question mark with covid running around. On June 6 the barn owner and lesson director finally got off their tushes and said camp is on. Ok, Kitt, fix the paperwork. This is stuff that should have been filed back in April in order to get all the certifications on time when things are working full speed. With state employees on furlough, who knows how long it will take. Ok, so I chase the lesson director I have taken to referring to in private as VDB - Very Dumb Blond - and finally get the Criminal Background request sheets filled out for all councilors. I sit down today to organize and send the stuff out knowing full well I will NEVER get it back before 1st day of camp on 7/6. Each form must have the fee via certified check stapled to it. So 6 councilors, 6 sheets, 6 checks i needed to have certified, ( try that through the drive through as all lobies are still closed. they don't reopen around here till next week at the earliest) stuff the whole kit and caboodle into an oversize envelope, put extra postage on due to the weight, and I am done, right? Nope. Nowhere on the form, or in the instructions does it give the address to send it to! So I try the 800 number on the form listed for help. No luck, I get a recording saying due to low staffing caused by covid they are unable to take my call. Leave a breif but inclusive message and some one will get back to me. So I punted. I addressed it the the NJ State police, SBI div at the PO box listed for headquarters in Trenton. Whats the worst can happen? It gets lost in the shuffle of bureaucratic bull dinky and is delayed? Based on how long it has taken in years past, I didn't expect them back before September anyway! I kept copies of all forms and checks to hit the state camp inspector over the head with IF they come back to work and IF they show up at my camp.

Ashy, your friend needs to remember one thing. A person who will cheat on their spouse, is a person who will cheat on their spouse. Will they divorce someone to marry a fling? Possibly, but what's to stop them from cheating on the new spouse?

Hon, if I am still asleep at that time my husband wants to call a doc. The rest of what I have to say is in your blog.

As you said, most of us came to understanding this a long time ago. Truth be told, all relationships are D/s to a slight degree, just not so as you would feel the need to call it such. In most homes one person tends to make the decisions, with input from the spouse. Honestly I think your way would be easier than the balance my spouse and I have struck. Our levels of dominance and submissive occasionally lead to protracted discussions to get to the same place you and tim get in minutes. You are. That sums it up nicely. You are right for each other. You are in love with tim, not to be confused with loving tim. You are responsible. I could list an hundred things you and tim are. Let's just leave it at YOU ARE.

Quite true. Unfortunatly too many are taught from infancy to close that vast source of unlimited potential.

You did not choose the door. That is a step in the right direction. Hang out, ask questions, learn things. Learning does not mean you have to change. It means that we dont have to change either.
-
There is no reason on God's green earth you should have to apologize . Anyone who chooses the door should not let it hit them in the ass on the way out.
-
Of course it does. Way more then is healthy for them. They don't let themselves feel, so they don't deal with it till it is way out of control.
-
I think if more servicemen (and women) allowed themselves to feel and deal, places like heros haven would not be so sorely needed.

I put long jamer pants on tonight. Like that a whole lot better than hot and sweaty!

And because one is not enough ❤️ ❤️

Congratulate the girl for me, and woohoo you survived her college years! And happy birthday

Um, Brett retired from the service due to injury, not age. Moving out 30 years ago didn't leave him much growing up time. Nice on Carlos. No complaints from me on chapter length, just frequency!

Hey, you knew more than most peeps seem to! The rest is just the science geek in me.

Here they broke construction into groups. The new barn i am looking to move to = non essential. New strip mall/new housing = non essential. Fix the roof after microburst hit it with a tree= essential. The trick is figuring out which side your particular project falls on.

Also prolongs its life. Keeping the sacrificial anode in decent shape is important too. It's a zinc bar that hangs in the tank dispelling any electrolysis similar to the zinc plates on a boat. As the name implies, the process eats away at the zinc instead of the heater works, and must be replaced periocically. Ok, the chemistry major in me will shut up now.

The good thing, if the doc sends him chasing tests, you can safely add b vitamins or a multi vitamins daily. Can't hurt and might help.

Good morning all. Think I would drink more than wine. Am i the only one who a) flushes sediment from the heater annually. And b ) inspects the sacrificial annode at the same time? Had the heater in the trailer the barn hand lives in fail a few weeks back. Asked the boss, an electrical engineer who went back to school and obtained a teaching degree, when was the last time those two things were done? His answer: "Whats a sacrificial annode?" Could be something as simple as a B vitamine deficiency. B's are water soluble, so it becomes easy to flish out more than you take in, especially in hot weather.

I think I am starting to lose my mind. This morning a conversation lead to an image in my mind of a dude ranch, in which well built shirtless men wandered around a green field just sort of hanging out similar to a herd of horses. Reading this evening's posts brought back that image.

That is because if you leave two unfinished pieces of paperwork, or worse yet two unanswered emails, alone for more than 30 seconds at a time, they multiply like horny little bunnies! Ever notice if you actually hit the bottom of the days work pile early, and you are killing time for punch out, not a single email or phone call will come in till 5 min to quitting time and that one will need at least 20 min to fix? Thanks tim, and Rick too. Too bad it isn't like that at the place I have been busting my ass for over the last 15 years.

Hey @Renee Stevens Can you enlighten us?

So far Mike is right. The PT is a nice guy, but I am starting to dread walking into the office after a week of treatment. My first reaction was definitely to kick him in the head, since laying on my stomach made punching him in the face impossible.
