Wednesday, I’m In Trouble
Kitt commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Wednesday, I’m In Trouble
We are the same age, and i remember the origional black and white series. I think cousin It was my favorite, though i always wanted a "thing". -
No, but they do participate in "torture the employees day frequently.

How could we NOT be interested?

Stocking the pantry was the least of my issues. I positively HATE shopping so when I go, I have issues with where to store a months worth of groceries. The only stuff I will need for the foreseeable future are perishables.

Already spoke with them. But on the same token, i can understand why my having a sneezing fit might upset peeps, hence why i stayed home and did my exercises as best i could there.

Afternoon news says vacines are several months away at best.

We had ONE suspected case at the local hospital here that actually tested negative, but it started a panic like the prediction of a 4 foot snowstorm would. Bottled water was impossible to find for a few days (peeps, the water supply is NOT compromised) i could not find a dust mask in any store to sweep yhe floors in the barn with, and hand sanitizer, well dont expect yo see that any time soon. My pt's office had sanitizer on the front desk with a sign asking patients to use it BEFOR signing in due to the "current health crisis" and that was befor the suspected case turned up. I cancelled my apt on monday not because i was frightened, but because i was having an allergy attack. Figured if i had a sneezing fit it would start a riot!

Lack of support care is not the only indignity vets suffer. The older siblings of my group growing up were Vietnam vets. I remember spitting, stone throwing, and any number of 4 letter words cast at them. What I DONT remember is discount for vets at restaurants or even a show of minimal respect. We have come a long way, but have so much farther to go.

How's that for my first comment Carlos?

Hero's Haven is based on a real place in New Jersey. I strongly recomend people not only support such places, but help spread the word of their existance. If a similar place doesnt exist in your area, what are you waiting for?

Any one who thinks marriage (or ANY serious commitment) ia all good all the time is at best naive, at worst stupid. Its lots of hard work. But anything worth having is.

writing Danger: Inclusive Messaging Ahead
Kitt commented on Thorn Wilde's blog entry in The Fantastic Mr. Wilde
The mods may not think the topic is political so much as some individuals MADE it political. -
Don't knock it till you try it. When I got railroaded into the union presidency they gave me a gavel. It was a tad difficult to control the meetings till I lost it and rapped the thing sharply on the back of the hand of a mouthy dude next to me. Peeps began to think twice about shouting me down after that.

Those are the most dangerous sorts. No opportunity to learn to handle it safely. I agree. I responded to more snow related accidents on the ambulance service than all other calls combined. ( I do not miss 3 am plectron alarms at all!)

Drool diverters also work for tea and cookie crumbs. -
I have always thought one requirement to get an engineering degree is to give up all common sense. Take away all their tools. It limits how much trouble they can cause!

Ok, I should have done my usual comment first read others comments later. Don't blame Kevin gang. He only gets Hank's side of things. I feel sorry for him, since he will find himself with the short straw again. Hank is another story. He has decided based on his history what he wants to believe. He needs a good smack upside the head. At least now Chase can start to move forward. No more treading water.

We want to challenge ourselves and those who read our work. Those are the goals. Challenge the reader? Are we going to need to take notes?
