I loved Family car trips when I was young. The best part was being woken up so early it was still dark so we got to make a cocoon on the back seat and snuggle in for the ride. If they were just Day Trips then my Mum used to stay up late the night before to make a huge feed and put it in the chilly bin. Big sigh...

First, thanks so much for the two 'events' in one chapter. Secondly, Katar seems gloriously stunning. Why can't beings be happy with what they have, especially when they seem to have so much? Havar lives in a world that does not know war, hunger/famine, disease, etc. In a Province/City that seems "gloriously stunning", etc. At first, I thought Havar had done something to Chris when he was in pain. Actually glad it wasn't him. I have a horrible feeling that the Demons have evolved. Yonthar may have been a tester. The Generals may have banded together. Would explain why Chris needs so much power. He is already beyond, beyond in regards to the power he has. With the hints given by the 4 Voices, he could be the ultimate. Why would any being need that much power unless it is required? We shall see...

If I read it right, gotta admit, am disappointed that Pete took his Brother's and auto expected his other siblings to feel the same. That he didn't reach out/give them the chance to show who they are. Well, no-one is perfect n'est pas. Have they had a big get together/intro with Jimmy's Family or is that something to look forward to?

At least Mary is at peace now. It would have been such a blessing for her to know that Butch was going to be looked after in a loving environment, etc. Who the hell goes to a funeral to seek money off of someone? I know with everything that he had done previously, this was barely a blip in comparison, but goodness gracious. Happy that Butch is an Atwood now. Do we know what Jimmy's Family name is? Did I miss that? Will they hyphenate, will the Boys change their names to include the hyphenation/Jimmy's name, etc?

I am really glad Pete and Jimmy just snuggled when they went to bed. Poor Butch. At least he got to say goodbye (which I know he will not appreciate right now) and he has lots of support. Okay, I have my tissues handy. I am ready for the next chapter...

Go Pete. From being single, to a Father, then a Partner (practically) and now another potential Son. I just realised, with Jimmy will come Grandparents. Italian Grandparents. Yay Bobby and Butch.

Jimmy looks like a stayer. Especially if Bobby has anything to do with it. Pity about Dave. Wonder whats gonna happen work wise? Pete will need help eh?

As an ex-Librarian, I love when people love reading. Especially sci-fi/fantasy, like Bobby seems to.

I love how Pete is so into his community. This, and his big heart, can only bode well for Bobby and his personal growth at Pete's side.

I used to love going to Western Springs to feed the ducks and swans. Especially when there used to be the bakery across the road that sold day old bread cheaply. Some of those flockers used to be pretty savage though. It could be quite scary.

OMG. I love shopping. I have a beautiful memory of being in Cardiff and going crazy in the shops for my nephew. It was so much fun. His Mother thought I was nuts. Seriously. My dream job would be to travel the world and just shop. Well, I did say it was a dream...okay. A fantasy at least. The very least.

I really hope H'rek and D"gar are neither seperated nor sent to Southern. Both would be horrendous. Also, sending F'drun would be dangerous for T'bor. Okay, after reading the above chapter I am going to admit I did actually feel slightly sorry for F'drun for a few seconds last chapter. Again, after reading the above, I am now even more pissed at him. He needs to pay. If a Dragonrider is injured to the point they can't physically fly any more, what does this mean for their Dragon? Will the Dragon live or will they go between? If they live, then good. We have an out. "Master Author Mawgrim, make it so. Fleet Admiral Busby T. Kirk, out."

This was an awesome start. Can't wait for the next chapter. Poor Dave, stuck in the middle. I can't help but think that what Stefan wanted/was searching for, although he may not have known it at the time (?), was Vincent. Vincent is way lucky cause Mason sounds haf!

Thank the Goddess F'drun lost out. That would have been horrendous. He is such a dick. Ryth is hurt, people are trying to help him to to get to Ryth so he treats them like shite and refuses their help? So he'd prefer that poor Ryth suffer by himself? As for M'rell, he has never come across as a drop kick before. Wonder what is going on with him? There has to be something bigger than not becoming Wingsecond?

Yes please. I can see my outfit now. Baby Blue (which is a pastel color) robes with Gold trim (because Baby Blue and Gold are my old High School colors) and designs. Due to my coloring I could pass as Hedaya. Hope I got the spelling right. As for Havar, he is dangerous mainly because he believes he is right and everyone else is wrong. He cannot be swayed because of this blind faith. Plus I think he is in cahoots with someone or something? Something is definitely going on there. Luckily, pay backs can be a real %$#@*. So we have that to look forward to...

Well. So Chris's visit with the entrepreneurs was very politique. Well done for thinking about the safety of the employees and for ensuring other citizens of the realm would benefit. I think they could have thought of a better scenario in regards to the location of the first interview. Anything to do with Havar is fraught with danger as far as I'm converned. Individually, Chris could handle him without even really thinking about it. But Havar does not come across as the 'playing by the rules', or 'playing nice' kind of individual. He is driven, has had years to plot and seems way too confidant. No, Havar makes me nervous. They could have chosen the tribe/province of the baby at the cafe. That would have been a nice spin/story for them. They could have had a 24hr competition where kids sent in a poem or short story about why it would have been good for the Platinum Prince to visit their Tribe/Province. Then the winning child could have been Chris' escort/guide, etc. Havar, bad. Anywhere else, good.
