M'rell is being a tosser and D'gar needs to address this asap. As for the fight, I would have made every single one of them be 'gophers' for the Healers. Then collectively gather enough firestone for two Falls.

I can see your points in regards to the Four Houses, but my thinking in regards to my alternative is that he has had the Four Houses symbols for awhile. Why did the Voices take so long to make themselves known? What were they waiting for? To answer my own question, maybe they were waiting for Chris to obtain some Demon power? So maybe they are Reps of the Four Houses. My imagination still tells me my alternative is an option though. Mainly because I like the idea of The Flow and of the possibility that Chris will become so powerful as to be One with The Flow. In regards to the 'roles', I guess it depends on your understanding/interpretation of power. Is there energy and/or magic without life? What is the Partner/Balance of Life if not Death? What is more powerful than life itself, etc? For me, the "power" of Life and Death is way more than that of magic and energy. Way more. In regards to the Birth and Life. For me, Birth is just 'birth'. It just is. But Life includes Birth. Life encapsulates more. Birth is just a part of Life. Wow. Not a great explanation, but I know what I mean. Lastly, this is a fantasy story. One of the reasons I love fantasy is because we are not tied to preconceived ideas, etc. We are literally bound by our imaginations, are we not? If we are, then hell. I'm going for it.

I don't know if I believe the Voices are from the Four Dynasties. It does seem obvious. I mean the '4' Voices and '4' Dynasties match. But why an adult Male Elf (AME), an adult Female Elf (AFE), a young Male Elf (YME) and a young Female Elf (YFE)? Maybe they represent the Magic (AME), Energy (YME), Life (YFE) and Death (AFE) of the Flow? Yeah. This was bought up previously, about changing it for use against the Demons. Maybe the Tower gave it to Havar because he would have the knowledge but not the power, so couldn't abuse it. Plus he is close enough to the Royal Family, etc that they would know the option was there, if required. He keeps bringing it up every so often so how could they forget. It would be awesome for Etalos to get a Boyfriend. Just Nomir left I think... Will Chris become one with The Flow? Is this where this is all heading? I have mentioned this before, but giving someone that amount of power usually means it is required i.e. the foe they face requires they have this amount of power/force. If Chris is going to embody The Flow then what the hell are they cooking up on the other side? Loving this story just as much, if not more, than ever. So grateful gabz2000. Thank you so very much

He has the physical abilities/power (by the truckload), he just needs the mental. Would have loved to be in the cafe after Chris left, to see all of the reactions

Apart from the slight ripple caused by M'rell, that was quite a pleasant chapter. False sense of security? Calm before the storm? Especially as there is thread fall tomorrow? I love me some drama, but I'm content with pleasant right now. Who wouldn't want to be on a beautiful beach, with beautiful weather, surrounded by lush vegetation whilst cavorting in the sea with Dragons? Sign me up. I've got my SPF30 and my ie lavalava. This has been a good chapter for D'gar. He has learnt alot more about F'drun (drop kick), he is mixing with (and being noticed favourably by ) people outside his Wing and he, H'rek, Herebeth and Rioth have an awesome new Weyr. H'rek will have the Weyr looking even more awesome soon.

I really don't understand how F'drun got chosen by a Bronze/Ryth? There is no way in hell he deserves it. There needs to be a viable/believable way for him to be un-Chosen i.e. F'drun needs to be gotten rid of without hurting Ryth. But there isn't one is there? They have together too long. That is going to be sad. So happy for H'rek though. He (and Rioth too I expect) are so excited that they are finally doing what they have been born to do.

That pair of Biarchs! However H'rek gets out of the 'beat down' those two are planning, I hope it includes a backfire/backlash to the nth degree. I want their to be pain and lots of it. I want those two to suffer. Okay, so obviously not their Dragons...but no mercy on those two. How dare they! I want them to rue the day!

Okay. So first, I didn't realise I hadn't commented on the previous chapter. Just to cover that, what a pair of ijits. Seriously. Nuff said. This chapter, I don't know how I feel. Sad mostly, I guess. It's almost like they should just split, like that's the best thing for both of them. I mean, they have split but... If this were real life and I was Nash, I would not have gone on holiday with the Knotts to Hawaii. I would not have gone to play golf. I am not even sure I would have been as friendly/hung around with Ryan as much as Nash apparently is. To each their own, but for me personally that would have seemed wrong so I would not have done it. Then again, that's probably why I'm a lonely old bitter twisted harpy who has to live vicariously through the characters on this site

That was a really good pick up about going in between and the potential issue. OMG F'drun needs a good swift kick. What an a'hole. And it's not even for a reason. I can't wait to see what his comeuppance is. Please don't let it be a case of 'he learns the errors of his ways and he ends up being a really great guy beloved by all'.

There is no way I would have rewarded Rashan and given him exactly what he asked for. It was his first day out of bed and both his Father and Jihan wanted him to stay inside, just in case. It is interesting that The Ancients (especially Neith) have an interest in Jihan. That has got to be a bonus. As is the Metal Working Family from Iron Nation. I didn't realise the possible extent of The Ancient's powers/abilities either. As for the citizens of Silver Shore. Hhhmmm...That's all I have to say about that.

You can just imagine what is likely to happen once they get back to the Weyr, can't you? I wonder who is going to get blamed for Choliarth and other things during Threadfall? And I wonder who is going to do the blaming? I can't wait for this. Also, in the last chapter. I am glad H'rek pulled D'gar up in regards to being in a relationship, etc. That he was mature enough, etc to cut through the bull@%$&.

Well said Herebeth. Humans can be such a pack of Drop Kicks sometimes. Well, a lot of the time. Can't wait for someone to put F'drun in his place and have D'gar become Wingsecond.
