I am over mentioning Margaret again, but Richard needs to step up for his Son. I am not sure how I feel about Richard working for a Company that is so anti-were. I don't know how he can do it, but (especially these days) jobs are hard to find. Especially good paying jobs. There are some benefits to speech. Poor Devyn. He understands that Elroy is a comfort for Jason and was just trying to provide Jason with said comfort. He felt how sad/depressed Jason was. Everyone in this story needs to have good long meaningful chat about so many things.

I love how Devyn and Jason are with each other. How natural it seems for both of them. Brienne is a good addition to the story. She will be good for Jason as well. Margaret is getting annoying. Like really annoying. She is so prejudiced. This prejudice is so powerful within her that it allows her to treat her only Son like that? She needs to step back and recognise.

I am not sure Dylan's behaviour is due to jealousy. Devyn has already said that he doesn't understand why Dylan has issues with his own race/species. So this 'attitude' existed before Jason turned up. Maybe there is a hierarchy within Neko Society and calico's are considered the lowest? There is hopefully a good reason that we will be made privy to.

What the hell is up with Margaret. She has issues and needs to get over herself. As for Dylan... Looks like Devyn and Jason are going to need each other. Thank goodness they 'found' each other.

Wait. One of the main characters is a Neko. The other main characters best friend is a Neko. And the Family (including a Human Father, I think?) eats Neko meat for dinner? Am I missing or not seeing something? Poor Jason. He needs a compadre. Someone to be close to, etc.

I have never met an adult, let alone a teen use the term 'gad about'. That was funny. That was a good interlude. Till the next one...😁

Apart from CLJobe's response, the fact Dawson winked at Josh when he was looking at Roger was a clue, no? That other Team, and their Coach, really annoyed me. How many other Rugby Teams are around for them to play with that they can treat them like that. I can understand cleats in the type of weather they were playing in, but to use them as weapons? You can play in cleats without hurting anyone, well...much/on purpose. I hope someone did something 'official'.

As I have may of intimated in previous comments, I will always vote Weyr over Holder. I obviously feel H'rek was being unreasonable, in this instance. I hope D'gar's shoulder isn't something serious?

He was so loved. He made such a difference in the lives of those that loved him and that he loved in return. He was happy. He didn't die alone. Can't be sad for that. We should all be so lucky/blessed.

I love the Grand-Ferals names! Dante and Aria. So pretty. I love that Jeff is a Nonno and that the Grand-Ferals are so close to him. I love the "Family" that Jeff and Toby have made for themselves.

College already? It feels like they have only just moved in? (I know, but it seems as if he has as well...) Does this mean Jeff will be alone again? Education is SO important - knowledge is power, as they say.

Honestly, I don't know exactly where our Peoples originated from. Greater minds than mine have come up with theories based on what they think they know, but I think no-one knows for sure. Until proven otherwise, I personally believe we came from a place called Hawaiki. I have no idea where this place is. I also personally believe we stopped off at Rarotonga on the way. There are too many similarities (language, stories, etc) for me to not think this. Love Australia (especially Sydney where I lived for 9 years. Go The Doggies!), but no. We, as a Peoples, definitely did not come from Australia. Yeah, a visit longer than a Pit Stop is always good no matter which country we're talking about. Luckily, New Zealand is so small that it doesn't take a long time for a 'good' visit. Doesn't take too long to find your next 'Whoa' or 'OMG' moment here. We are so lucky here (yes, my bias is showing) but especially with the way things are currently globally. One of the not so good things is that we are so far away from everywhere else. But that has its benefits as well.

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the length. Thank you so much! I am really glad that you did not leave their trip to Italy 'to our imaginations', but provided some detail. I loved it. I loved that people in Italy knew who Jeff was because he had been so often, etc. It was a really good touch that the Boys met Pietro's Family, etc. Just imagine going overseas and being shown around by locals as opposed to Tour Guides. That would be awesome. I loved how Jeff was so casual with things like: 1) needing to dress appropriately for the Opera. Outfits for 5 please. Oh, and while you're at it, get some things for home as well. For 4... 2) asking for tickets to La Scala for 6 for anytime in the next 5 days please... 3) here is the money for Passports for your Family. We will also cover the cost of your flights to the US... 4) a weekly delivery of Wine and Cheese from Italy Happy is as happy does...good on him. Thanks again for the long chapter and detailed trip.

Becoming vegan in a small country is not always fun. One of the things I really miss?, Italian food. My favourite restaurant used to be Bosco Verde. My favourite dish was Vol Au Vent Carciofi. I am no expert so am not even sure if it is Italian Italian or New Zealand Italian, if you know what I mean. I am drooling. It is puff pastry cases filled with artichokes and mushrooms, drowning in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. OMG! It is to die for!

Yes. I am a Maori. Being the God of Weather includes Wind. I like to think of Wind as playful. There is nothing on top to of Whangatauatia to hinder said playfulness. Especially as it is right by Karirikura (the sea) as well.

Clair has her lake in Italy. I like the idea of our mountain back home in Ahipara. It is not an actual mountain, says me. It is more like a really huge hill. Really huge. It is called Whangatauatia. I like the idea of someone standing on top, tipping me out and then riding the winds over home with Tawhirimatea. TBH, not even sure that would be allowed.

Sorry for the double comment. Just had to re-read this chapter before I read the new one. The other two things I thought were that Mace maybe owns Biacci's? Also, the story seems to intimate that Vinnie may react negatively to a Mated relationship? Anyway, on to the new l-o-n-g chapter. Excited!

i wonder what the new character is bringing to the story? Wonder how old his kids are e.g. do they go to school with Toby, etc?

I think it is terrible when you get home from your weekly shop so that your house is full of food, then order takeaways for dinner!?!? I've done it like a gazillion times. I annoy myself every single time. I wish my secret power enabled me to talk myself into things that are actually good for me as well.

I really like this story already. I feel like a traitor, but even more than Alan, Cody and the Boys. So far, at least...

Can't wait to see what happens when they go to get Toby's stuff. Would be perfect if Toby ended up doing law. Corny, kinda, but cool.

I must admit that I too have been hanging out for the next chapter. I tried really hard not to say something. I went back to see how long it normally is between chapters and so far it has not been any longer than any other 'in-between period'. But for some reason, this time seems especially long. That isn't helped by the fact that one looks multiple times a day so it probably seems longer than it actually has been. Of course, the in-between period has been shorter, but like I said - this one has not been any longer than some. But, yeah. Another chapter soon would be way awesome. Thanks
