I hope Prince Havar isn't in cahoots with the Demons. If he is, it will be more than pleasurable to see his downfall. Someone needs to look into the Astra Spell. If it can be aimed specifically at one of the Races, being Humans, then why can it not be altered for another i.e. the Demons? Then again, is the annihilation of an entire/any Race justifiable? It was so annoying, to put it simply, to watch what was going on in Detroit and have no-one be able to do anything. They couldn't, right? Prince Havar really worries me. He has to know that Chris would never cast the Astra Spell? So what does he have or know that leads him to think that Chris could be forced to do so? The other thing that worries me, is what mischief can be caused when most of the High Players of the Realm are in New York i.e. out of the Realm attending the Conference? Sorry, but lastly, I don't trust Yelindra.

From about 10 minutes into his first class I thought, 'Okay. So we've met the 'Bad Guys'. When is/are the 'Good Guy/s' gonna appear?' Then in the Lunch Room it was like, 'Okay. Anytime now!' Then I got to the end of the chapter. This cannot be how his school life is gonna be like. Surely someone will stand up for him, if he can't/isn't able to do it himself? I mean, I know it is only Day One and Chapter Two. But where is his Knight in Shining Armour?

You could tell, from the way you were describing everything, that something bad was going to happen. Of course my imagination took flight, especially considering we knew that Billy had to move from 'paradise'. I'm just glad that no-one died and that they had Insurance. Okay, next chapter...

Hullo. I realise I am likely to be A Party Of One, Team Solo, etc. However, I am happy to have chapters posted less often so as to provide ample time for editing. I always get this burst of energy/adrenaline/excitement every a new chapter is posted. Asking for less frequent chapters is almost blasphemous to me. I can't believe I'm doing it. I have been mulling this over the last three chapters though. In regards to the above: a) well, that solves the problem of the HQ that Chris requires b) Etalos and Karlon? c) I know they've had 600 years to plot and scheme, etc but the Demons seem to very organised and co-ordinated d) I think they are taking too long to have the initial Four Races Conference. There should be more urgency, surely? I hope it is a Four Races conference. I hope that they invite someone (not Chris) to represent the Human Race. As always, thanks so much. Looking forward to the next one.

Thank you both to Mike and Peter. Over the yeas I think it has been obvious how much I LOVE these stories. Each new Rothenian story is always 'the best one yet', but I really did enjoy this one so much. A trillion times, Thank You! Sorry, but still no Partner for Karl? Still possible I guess, depending on when the next episode picks up from. Thank goodness Serge and Henry are back on track. Now maybe things will be set to right that need to be. The other thing I particularly loved is that the Sign of the Angel is back in Family hands. That was awesome. I am so going to miss everyone, until the next episode of the Crown of Tassilo Saga...and I can't wait

Yes! Knew he'd choose Etalos and Nomir! Also, bigger Yes to next chapter within 24 hours! It was such a relief when this new chapters dropped. I know it has only been a week but when you check multiple times a day, it seems a long time. And I mean MULTIPLE (not shouting, just emphasising) times a day I always clear the notifications every time I drop in, so when I checked in this time and there were 8 notifications...I actually said out loud, 'And one of them is Fields of Summer?' Five seconds later came the fist pump and ugly 'Yasss! Face. Our Chris will be a busy Platinum Prince once he gets back home to Greensburg, n'est pas. Lots of reactions and actions to come

100% agree. It is sad to see them leaving their home and to have everyone split up. Not just the main characters, but the Household as well. Karl has been the main character for me and to see him end up without Ando seems, not right. It was awesome that he got to visit with/say goodbye with his Family. That was very touching and fully deserved. Not happy with Henry still. Hopefully Jonas has something in mind that will allow Karl some measure of joy...

The Prioress was graceful in her handling of the new Resident of the Crypt. I am glad that people reacted the way they did to the torture and death of Von Gerlitz. It was just so uncivilised. Henry is such an idiot to have undone all of his 'good' deeds because of his vanity. Serge was his best Friend, confidant and advisor for a reason. Why could he not see that. Not sure he can recover from his treatment of Von Gerlitz and Serge. I know Serge will be more than fine, that he will be happy. But I am still annoyed for him. So, it is on to Faerie and our dear Jonas...

Indeed! Local time, it is awesome that most of the time between this chapter and the next is taken up with sleep. It means the chapter comes quicker. It will be awesome to see, what I am assuming will be, the spectacle of Willi's Mother once she has been restored. So exciting!

Its gonna be interesting to see where the different characters end up e.g. will Karl remain with Serge or will he run the orphanage, etc? I like the idea of Dudley being sickly green. Looking forward to Willi's reunion with his Mother. Does he have the rings? Will they be needed? Will his Mother use them in some way to help?

That would be frikkin hilarious and so joyful to witness!

Outfielder is still my fav of all your Rothenia characters, but there sure are a lot of characters in this one story that I like very much. I don't want anyone I like to be hurt in any way or not end up on a Path they didn't want. Unrealistic and kinda vanilla, I know. But I really don't.

Serge's 'glory and trumpets' actually had me welling up. I hope we get to witness Henry's confrontation with/naming of the traitors. That would be awesome to see. Barkozy @#&%*$! Well, we knew it was to happen. Still...

It is all so exciting and everyone from Team Serge is doing so well. Will be interesting to see whats in the Satchel Ando obtained.

So, Sun-filled Manor requires a 'woman's touch'. It sounds beautiful from the descriptions. There is so much to love about this story, so much to look forward to, and I can't wait Jihan, Fara, Yasmin, Safan, Firuz and Shan are going to be quite the little Team. I think the Intruder is someone from Jihan's Network, like Kas mentioned. Just checking in to ensure all is okay. Wonder if they are still on-site so they can chat with Jihan when they'are able to. If they are, I'm not sure if I want them to be successful or for the Hidden Keepers to find them. That means one of them would have failed.

I was going to hold off reading this chapter so I could read two in a row tomorrow am NZTime, but couldn't resist. They sure as hell are gruesome when it comes to punishing people. I couldn't even begin to imagine even thinking something like that up. It is barbaric. I too am not so sure it is Dudley, except that would mean Serge would be wrong. I don't like that. I think the main instigator is Barkozy. If Dudley is involved, then Barkozy may be the little red devil sitting on Dudley's shoulder? Wow. So everything is coming to a head. What are they to do. What are they going to do about the contingent that is with Dudley? Is Boro even still in Strelsau? So exciting but quite worried too.

I wonder why Jonas didn't want Serge to find out about him, etc? I thought the second part of his foretelling was about to happen or have I missed/misunderstood something? I never really thought about it but was quite shocked that Karl is equal in power to Lady Fenice. That is so cool. Oh hell. I wonder what Medmed wants. Long Live Captain the Freiherr Wittig von Bernenstein! And I really do like Henry - "...I suggest you talk this through with my lord Serge, as soon as you’ve regained control of your lower jaw. Now off you go and practice being arrogant and entitled, like all the other Freiherren of your age."

When Mehmed was first placed with Serge, and especially after we were told how long that could possibly be for, I wondered about the relationship that would form between the two. I think they could/will be quite good friends. It would be quite sad if, in their future, they ever have to meet in each other in battle, etc. I have a feeling that over-hearing an enlightening conversation in a 'foreign' language is in Karl's future. Maybe? Even tho Jonas and Wilchin can already understand other languages, this is the first thing that came to mind. That it will be Karl, if it happens. If it wasn't harmful to Boro/his funds, I would have really wanted to see Daddykins defy the writ. It would have been awesome to see what would have happened to him.

I can't help but wish that this were a movie. Sometimes I can't imagine what the characters are describing e.g. that whole last segment about the chapel. I can't see it in my mind's eye. I knew before I read it than Willi's Mum was supposed to be the next Abbess. Kinda sad that Abbess Maria is a crook. Mainly because of the words 'Abbess' and 'Maria'. The Sound Of Music is one of my most fav movies. I hope Ando is Karl's truest love too! All those machinations going on to do with Faerie and Ruritania. Could do a person's head in and I love it! It is so awesome not to have to wait too long for the next chapter.

Told you Boro's Dad sucked. Apparently, so does his Uncle. Why do some people feel so entitled when someone they know comes into major money? I really REALLY hope Serge comes up with the perfect solution. It is so cool that we (more so Willi) will get to meet his Mum. Is this what Willi may need both rings for? Can't think why? It is so kewt that Ando doesn't understand that he is so well off. Plus, the Olmusch Society for the Orphans of Streslau is a charity, or could be. Just saying young Ando. Gosh, Boro's Dad and Uncle have really annoyed me. The cheek of it all.

Wasn't sure whether start with a WOW or a WOAH! Being able to communicate with all Horses is an awesome power. Seriously, how cool would that be. But I did think it was kinda 'limited' compared to the others and Karl has always been THE Conduit Boy for me. So that's cool. Wonder what his other powers are? Didn't click to me that Ando would have more money than Serge now. Plus he gets the ransom money for Mehmed doesn't he? Wow! Go Ando! I can understand Jonas' disinclination for clothes, pooing and peeing If I could, I would live in t-shirts, lavalavas, jockstraps and jandals. That's it. For every occasion, home, work, etc. Everywhere. Plus pooing and peeing are gross and a waste of literal time. Lastly, Long Live the Count of Strelsau!

As soon as Etalos mentioned the Setalus Incident I threw my eyes right to look at the (I'm not sure what its actually called) but that thing on the rhs of the screen that indicates how far there is to go in the chapter. 'Oh great!', was my response when I realised we were near the end and would have to wait for another chapter to see what was gonna happen. Be really interesting to see what Chris actually sees.

I know its been busy but Serge hasn't questioned Ando about his fight/battle yet? I wonder how much Ando got considering it was mentioned he got alot more than Boro did. Glad Ando gets to stay with Karl, etc. Will be surprised if Jonas agrees, unless it is all part of the Great Plan. Really hope something happens so Henry and Rica are able to marry.

Oh flippin' heck. You made me tear up over a Horse. Poor Ando and Jennet. Was Ando not majestic. And what a coup. Mehmed himself. Dammit. I know we are super SUPER lucky to get chapters as quickly as we do with you, but I really can't wait to see what happens next. They will all get enough plunder for their House and for the Olmusch Society for the Orphans of Streslau.

Well done everyone. So the current war is not part of the greater issue being Eden? Apart from giving Larkozy and Dudley the ability to be in the right place to be able do what they want to do, etc? Is it just them or who are they working on behalf of? I know the other Boys will receive a portion of the plunder but I hope Boro shares some of his with them as well.
