Hey Nick, I'm glad to hear that you made it home safe and sound. I was very sorry to learn that your great-grandfather passed away though. It's always hard to loose the one's you love, but like you said he had 84 good years. Take care and I'll add you and your family to my prayers. - Kaiten

First off: YAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!! I'm so glad that David is seeing some bright days right now. To begin with: the hot waiter. That's soo great that things are are working out between them! Tell them I wish them both the best of luck. Now onto the more complicated portion of the blog. My opinion (it's just my opinion) is that Selene just doesn't want David to be hurt anymore. I know I'm that way with some of my friends and definately some of my relatives. And yes, David's sister was only 11 when all hell broke loose, but we don't know the full story of what took place between those seven years. And further more, if the older (he was older correct?) brother is himself gay and (I'm assuming here) somewhat out, what stopped him from trying to contact David between now and then? I guess I would take the wary but supportive stance as well. Either way that it turns out, I hope that David is able to come to terms with his past and family and I really really hope that everything turns out awsome. I've never been thrown out of my home nor have I had to witness any of my friends go through that, so there is no way that I can imagine the fear, lonliness, and terror that someone in that situation must feel. Again, I really hope everything goes great with his sister and brother and that's awsome that they might be able to become closer or at least maybe phone buddies or something. And please tell David, if he hasn't already done so, that he should write his parents and other brother a nice long letter imploring them to go bungee jumping w/o the dad-blasted rope!!! Good Luck and Best Wishes To All!!! - Kaiten p.s. glad you gave Chaz his bouncy ball back

I agree! That's so mean! Good grief I always jump when I see one of those, but to do that to a little kid.

Hi! Canoeing in the middle of winter?!? Sounds awfully cold to me! I'm glad to hear you made it through your trip all right. lol So did you make any snow angels or snowmen? I have to say, I hate the cold but I am very jealous you got to go play in the snow! I want it to snow here so bad! The slope outside my apartment wants me to sled down on it REALLY bad. I love your story "From Behind Those Eyes" and I'm really excited to read your next chapter. - Kaiten -

So..I have to ask...any inspiration for the two main characters? lol better make that three...I suppose there was the demon in the story. Awsome as always! Take care and hope you both have a great week! - Kaiten -
Hi Dom! I'm sorry to hear about two things: A) That you broke your favorite coffee mug. It sucks when you get so attached to something like that and then can't have it anymore. and B] That DD is being annoying. Although I have to admit a little bit of glee in the fact that you sent in a new chapter of WT...that's quickly becoming my favorite. Not that DD's not awsome, WT's just different! Take care and good luck finding a new coffee cup!!! - Kaiten

"Sometimes I Wish For A Mistake"
buttershots commented on AFriendlyFace's blog entry in Chronicles of My Life
Hey Kevin, There's nothing wrong with wanting a "picket fence" life. I think deep down that's what the majority of people want. Stability, happiness, and someone to share that with. At least I know that's what I want. I know, to an extent, what you mean when you worry about not achieving that dream. I worry about never finding a guy who'll care for me as much as I care for him. And as much as I love and want kids, I know that I'll never be able to bring them into a single parent home, at least not intentionally . It's just not fair to them. I just keep telling myself that life will work out the way it's ment to work out...and if worse comes to worst...I'll buy a condo over in Europe somewhere, my GTO, and be the old maid that travels alot, drives insanely over the speed limit, and lives with 10 cats and 2 dogs. This is of course when I either become rich and famous or win the lottery. Sorry, I'm not entirely sure where I was meaning to go with this. But take care and have a great weekend! - Kaiten -
THE THINGS YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW: PART TWO!
buttershots commented on GREEN's blog entry in GREEN & CHAZ'S BLOG
Hey Green, I am so glad to hear that you were able to at least talk to both Chaz and David. I'm sure it's still worrisome that they're both still upset...but they will calm down like Bev says once they've licked their wounds a bit. It's obvious that you trust your friends, like you said you wouldn't be friends with them in the first place if you didn't trust them. The thing is, a good friendship is a give and take type of situation. You say that your always there for them when they need you, but you don't seem to allow them the same courtesy? That's not a very fair relationship. They don't know that they're needed. If they can never rescue you the same way you rescue them...things get sticky. It's cool that you don't want to worry them and really sweet, but just because your problems are different than their's doesn't make them any less important. You say you got what you thought you needed, and that's to be alone. That may be true for a day or so, but in the long run I don't see it staying that way. Your friends love you too much for that. And Chaz, I agree with an earlier post, that writing down a letter with all your thoughts and things you've been feeling, being totally honest...will get your further than just apologizing. The coolest thing is though, your not the first person to be in this type of a situation and you definately won't be the last. I work in a lab and trust me I've all but blown buildings up over the last couple of years. lol BIG mistakes. But I got the best advice once and that was: "Every mistake possible has already been made. That's why so many people know how to 'Fix' things. The only truly bad thing to ever come out of a mistake is if you repeat the same mistake again." Basically I was told don't drop the bottle of HCl acid on the floor and boot everyone out of lab for 3 days again. Anyway, way longer than I intended that to be. Please take care and I really hope everything calms down soon. - Kaiten -

Is it really all THAT bad??? hehehe I'm one of those horrible people who wake up on "black tuesday" mornings with a smile on my face and tell everyone "Happy *********'S Day". lol sorry...but I did enjoy gorging on chocolate. Does that count? I hope everyone enjoyed the excess chocolate that's been flying around. That is the one TRULY great thing about this day! I SWEAR!!! Here's to the up coming weekend! The things you never know. Part One
buttershots commented on GREEN's blog entry in GREEN & CHAZ'S BLOG
Hey Green, It sounds like you have a really cool stepfather. I'm so glad to hear that you were finally able to just sit with your dad and get everything out in the open and simply talk and listen. That's really cool and I'm sure it took a lot of courage on both parts. It's never easy to tell those that we love secrets that we've kept inside for so long and the fact that you did shows a lot of strength and courage on your part. Good job! I'm proud of you! (for what it's worth ) I'm sure it was also a great comfort to finally feel more "at home" at your mother's house and to once again, for a short while at least, be a "momma's boy". And there is nothing wrong with that. Kind of cute. Your last sentence you said you headed home? As in "home home"? I hope you got a huge hug from Chaz... hugs are worth their weight in gold. I'm sure that your friends were relieved to finally seee you safe and sound. I really and truly hope your week finally calms down.. and that all your toast falls jelly side up. (lol no idea where that came from but it sounded good in my head) Take Care!!! - Kaiten -

A Dozen Long Stem Artichokes
buttershots commented on AFriendlyFace's blog entry in Chronicles of My Life
DAISYS!! Daisys! Daisys! Daisys! LoL Try as I might, I will never understand you people of the opposite sex. Come on. Food vs. Flowers??? Yeah yeah yeah, I know I hate killing them too, but they sure do look nice on my kitchen table. Flowers win everytime...although...now if we had chocolate introduced into the compitition...I think we all know that chocolate would kick some serious butt!!! So, I don't think I've ever eaten an artichoke? I looked up a picture on the internet and yeah, have to say I've never eaten one...but they do look like asparagus...similar taste??? lol and you guys want a dozen long stems of those things?!?!?! lol *sigh* no wonder I have no luck with guys! I'm thinking flowers and they're thinking FOOD! Sorry for the rant. I've just been laughing so hard since I read the artichoke part Kevin. hehehe, but I still say DAISYS! hehehe I think your plans for v-day sound awsome. I have to admit the whole bubble bath dinner out shopping spree sounds like fun. I really don't have plans yet, but will probably go out and catch a movie or something with some friends. Or maybe just study b/c I'm a slacker and have an exam coming up that I am SOOOO not prepared for yet. Big news, I know! Seriously though! Congrats on your Latin exam! That's awsome!!! That's really cool that your learning a new language and are apparently excelling at it. Good job. Have a great week and a happy valentines day! - Kaiten -
Hi! This is the first time I've posted in your blog, but I just wanted to say that if you think you'd be interested in the play I think you should do it. With or with out Justin. I think it's a pretty crappy thing for him to say yes then back out, but he may have been telling you a bit of the truth in saying that he thought he could, but realized later that it's just to far out of his comfort zone. Or maybe he's just being a stinker and changed his mind. Either way, it sounds as if this play is something you'd really be inetersted in doing and I have to commend you on that. You said you have a small amount of stage fright and yet you're still wanting to do it...that takes a lot of courage on your part and that's pretty impressive. I am completely terrified of talking in front of crowds, and in my feild of interest, there's no way around it. I realize that it's said alot, but it really is true...practice makes everything better and the earlier in life that you can conqour your fears the easier it is to conqour fears that pop up later in life. Over the past couple of years I've had to give a couple of lecture's/talks on various topics at different conferences and class rooms, it's finally starting to get easier to get up and talk, but I have learned the hard way...food comes after the speach...never before! Ok sorry for the side rail, my point is...I think you should go for it. A) it sounds like its something your interested in and that's just simply cool B] maybe Mr. Justin has a bit of stage fright himself and seeing you fully capable of auditioning and having fun will allow him to be more comfortable with it for the next play and C) you can always rub his nose in it and call him a chickensh** for backing out cuz he was scared hehehe. That's all. - Kaiten
