Kissus interruptus? Sounds like the title of a story or poem! I don't want to bring to much attention to the final scene, I'm afraid of what @spikey582 may have to say! But it was interesting reading over the chapters when CJ and Owen first met this past week. It took Owen 2 days to tell CJ how he felt and it took CJ two years. I kept trying to put it off but the damn kid wouldn't listen to me. I blame CJ for the sappy stuff.

Although there were plenty of non-stop flights between Washington and Denver, César and Brett booked one with a stop at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The short layover allowed Randy and Tyler to join them. Traveling together avoided the possibility of weather related delays leaving part of the group stranded. As soon as Randy walked into the Business Class section, CJ―sitting in the last row next to Owen―began humming “Here Comes The Bride.” Brett, Rod, and a couple of the other g

First! Awesome news and a well deserved promotion. Welcome to the purple, tim. Fantastic addition to the club. Giant hugs and please tell a certain cop to give you a kiss on my behalf.

Best wishes for a great day, bud!

You've been evicted from the purple and have moved up in the world, Adi. Get used to it!

Thanks for sharing your experience, bud. It's interesting to see how events sometimes make us aee things in a different light. Since the CJ series is firmly rooted in real life, I like to highlight what I think are worthy organizations. The Names Project's one of them and I'm glad so many readers have had a positive reaction to its inclusion in this chapter!

LOL You and your broken legs! Next chapter's all about Colorado so you may still get your cheap thrill!

Thanks, Bill. Ritchie seems to have adapted so far and is fitting in well. Considering he's surrounded by older guys most of the time (much like CJ was when he first moved to DC) we can only hope he benefits from those relationships as much as his brother did.

You haven't heard my definition of 'good boy'!

    Thanks, Tor!

With every birthday I've tried to show some growth in CJ. Some of it is based on experience (like dealing with all his connections and being able to interact with a president. Some is pushed on him by Cesar and Brett. They've been slowly integrating him into the family finances. I wish at 18 my family had had a net worth over 1B too! Not sure I would have dealt with so much money as well as CJ does but his actions are based on a couple of friends of mine who had a similar outlook on money. Next chapter's pure sillyness. What else can you expect from a bunch of young men spending a week in Colorado skiing.

I enjoy all reader feedback. Positive, negative, and sarcastic! There was a lot in this chapter, wasn't there? It's one of the reason I split the month over two chapters. The next half will be dedicated entirely to the Colorado ski trip. EDIT: Yes, the Forbes Grill is a real place! And think of an older, gray-haired Richard Gere as the maitre'd

Although many wealthy individuals use charitable foundations to benefit themselves, neither Cesar nor Brett are that money hungry so it follows their son would adopt their views. They have enough money on their own they don't need to milk the foundation. I'm hoping Harley got laid and it helps relax him.

    Thanks, bud!

Oh, oh.... did you miss the line where CJ tells the dads Harley was out on a date? LOL Next chapter we find out the plans for the graduating seniors.

Glad you enjoyed that! It was emotional and we had a little drama but next chapter will be all fun and games. I mean, it's going to be a party! Funny I don't exactly recall my 18th birthday but then again I didn't go skiing with a bunch of hunky men. Hell I was so closeted back then I couldn't see daylight hiding behind all those clothes.

    November 2015

Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in November 2015

ROTFLMAO I did drag it out, didn't I? But realistically the reveal had to wait until he had gotten used to having Ritchie around on a full time basis. I think that was a bigger factor than Owen, the dads, or the comforts of home. Even if the latter is a big attraction compared to sharing a tiny dorm room!

All that damn matchmaking! I swear they're as bad as bloody readers!

LOL- Some of my foreshadowing can be obscure. I originally thought about Yale and Clinton would have still been appropriate. But then I realized CJ wouldn't want to leave DC. Even if he doesn't say it out loud, I don't think the three years he would have had with the dads when he started college would have been enough for him. Check out the images of the quilt I posted in my gallery.

You liked the cow thingy? I've been waiting forever to use the line! I first volunteered for the Quilt back in 1992 when there was a big display in Miami. Since then I've been around it a few times and each time it's as emotional an experience as the first time. Never seen it in its entirety, missed a trip to DC when I got into a huge argument with my ex. That must have been an incredible experience.

And it all started right after he moved to DC when he met Brian Sims aboard the PP. And from there he had that short internship with Marco Rubio. He collects people the way we would collect stamps or coins. Makes me jealous!

If you're a good boy I'll deliver as much as you want.

English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French I can understand. Any other languages Google Translate is my friend! I've shed a tear or two when around the Quilt. It's a powerful thing and reminds us how many we lost and the wasted promise of so many young men. EDIT- After 8 years of listening to him I can almost write his damn speeches. I'm okay as a public speaker but Obama can definitely rock a crowd.

Slow down, Chris! We still have 6 months of high school left!

CJ tapped into his growing network of connections when organizing the Gay Straight Alliance’s program. The organization had decided to sponsor an event on December first―World AIDS Day―at School Without Walls High School. Along with his co-chair, Kim Hoang, they presented their plans to Principal Martha Edwards and she was quick to approve the proposed school assembly and accompanying display. The two students met with Dr. Prescott Harding―one of CJ’s doctors, an infectious disease speciali
