Driving home from work I heard the news tonight and I'm absolutely shocked I was pulling for Boston to win Well if it is any consolation they are the first team since 1975 to have a 3-0 lead of a best of seven series and lose. Okay, I guess that doesn't help So this means round 2 is over and done. I have tallied up the scores and some are now in the position of gaining no more points. Here is the scores after round 2: Tarin - 25 points cannot score anymore points tjajcj - 25 points cannot score anymore points Red_A - 25 points Bugeye - 25 points cannot score anymore points BlueSoxSWJ - 30 points Nightsky - 35 points cannot score anymore points Mark Arbour - 30 points TetRefine - 35 points NateB - 20 points So it looks like Tarin, Ramon, and Sam are out of the competition. It looks like Nightsky can hope that no one else scores any points and enter the tie breaker with Matt. This is actually getting interesting. BTW, anyone who might be cheering for Montreal and they win the next round, avoid the downtown. This is only quarterfinals and 41 people arrested for looting and vandalism. Such a shame that calm, cool, civilized hockey fans get a black eye due to hooligans and thugs who take the opportunity to do their stuff.

Everything I Think and Feel Is Written On My Face, Maybe I'll Be Prettier Now
wildone commented on viv's blog entry in Viv's Blog
Midlife crisises are a bitch. I should have had mine at 17, but who is counting It sounds like in looking at the past and the future you have at least found hope. You will pull through like always, when something gets you down, you'll find something to bring you right back up. Instead of being scared of Annemarie's grad, you'll be excited and nervous for her Look at colourgaurd, would you take back all the memories over the past year to put her back in elementary school? Above all, don't forget, you'll have all of us too -
Oh my gosh, CJ has finally admitted that he was on the edge of a cliff even though it may have scared him After sooooo many years of him telling us that he'd never have anything to do or be near a cliff, he finally admits the truth I think I have a new signature line Lucky you made the correction, or the RCMP would have been filing a extradition petition for your fury little butt . I didn't know the locals in Charlottetown spoke goat . Oh and if it wasn't bad enough to misspell the birthplace of Confederation, it is Sydney, Nova Scotia How rude, Jack Frost stood out by the side of the river awaiting you for a week to take you on a tour of Montreal Misnamed island??? See above reference where a goat admitted to hanging around cliffs. What better name for an island that ends with a giant precipice over the falls. You know us and our 20000 year sneak attacks . You never know when we'll start or even stop Pardon me but that unlicensed pilot had full access air space at the point of impact. In fact, due to the murder of another Canadian (much like Instinct did in LTMP), we have lobbied the UN to file charges against the pilot of A320 of murder in The Hague.

You'd think that you would have completed the propaganda section done when you put this up CJ . Oh wait, maybe all your posting and joining of GA has all been part of your diabolical plan to indoctrinate all of us Who needs propaganda when you have already laid down the groundwork

Well even though they play a girl's sport, I'll admit that those are cute guys . From over here, all the field hockey players wear skirts, is that not a requirement in Australia Now Robbie is upset cause the Jersey (said in my best New Jersey accent) Devils got knocked on their arses in the first round by the Broadstreet Bullies. Yes CJ, I was referring to the Baldwins, last time there was an insult (the illegal arrest of Terance and Phillip)to Canada, we were forced to bomb the Baldwins Wonder who we will go after this time, maybe the Estevez/Sheen household .

Happy Birthday Mark!! Hope you have fun this weekend

Yeah Montreal :) Now come on Boston. Unfortunately the riot police are already out in downtown Montreal I hate it when some ruin the party for all

This is absolutely pathetic. Usually the losing team takes all the penalties It seems like the ref's are trying to give a permanant power play to Pittsburgh. Even the offsides are not being called against the Penguins . Whew, finally a Pittsburgh penalty. And the Habs get a rest due to the glass. Edit to add: Yes, a power play goal 5 - 2 with 10 minutes left

Those aren't hockey players They have all their teeth, no visible facial or body scars. What do they shoot around, a shower puff ?
-
Ugh, 4 - 2. don't lose the faith though

Thanks for the chapter CJ, mostly . Sorry for pasting a little late but I've been under the weather since I mistakenly licked a frog instead of a toad. It was just that Mike looked sooooooo cute, I figured he wouldn't mind making me feel good Instead I've been in bed vomiting and having cramps in places that I didn't know I had. (just kidding ) So first off, what the heck is this with a new character named Steve in the story? Cindy's boyfriend. Every Steve I know is gay Poor Cindy, she doesn't even know . No Steve I know would be caught with a girl Okay, I'm confused. Trevor talked to Officer Gonzales in chapter 23. I just reread the passage of the phone call, and no where did Trevor or Jim tell him about the email to Jim. Is there something else that would make Officer Gonzales believe that there is a leak within the department? I'm still convinced that Bridget is playing the detective and everyone else. I was soo happy that Trevor found love, well maybe not love, but made love I hope they really connect and somehow Torsten can send his parents and sister on their way and he joins Joel and Trevor. I am concerned that Joel may turn Trevor into a whore now so one lover is enough. Noticed Jim was at ease going to spend the night/day at Dirk's house, I imagine in Dirk's bed I think he may have spent other times at the house when Trevor was out at sea on weekend charters. Thanks again CJ Steve

This is blasphemy You know we have no option but to send our long range bombers and attack the Baldwins for your indiscretions. The hurt that you inflict by your commentary is astounding. I also must say that you ignorance to the sport after just recently being at the birthplace of hockey is shocking. It is believed the first hockey game was played between the French and the English on a frozen over Saint Lawrence river (now the seaway). In the second period, the French switched ends and were skating to the east. One Frenchman got a breakaway and has never been seen again . Another point, it seems the Eastern US is more educated in the finer aspects of gentlemanly sport than the West. After all there is 8 contenders in this years pool. I thought field hockey was played just by girls

That hurts Vic Just kidding

I was watching the Craig Ferguson Show tonight, and was shocked and surprised when Russell Crowe mentioned that Men at Work was being sued by the copyright holders of the Kookaburra Song for their biggest hit Land Down Under 29 years after the song was released I'm dating myself, but I remember singing the Kookaburra song in elementary school and then loving Men at Work's Land Down Under in the 80's. I never put the two together. Funny how after all this time the riff that I enjoyed so much turns out to be a childhood song I liked. One Version of Kookaburra song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNT7uZf7lew Men at Work singing Land Down Under Listen to the flute riffs Why did it take 29 years to notice this? Should they be able to sue? Isn't this the same as using the Happy Birthday song? (and yes, you can file this all under useless trivia )

I may have licked a frog before I made that post It might explain it

Cliff James has released Chapter 25 of Circumnavigation. It is entitled Taranto Games. Not to be confused with Toronto Games which would refer to the Maple Leafs, whom once again did not make the playoffs again this year making it since 1967 that they last made it to the Stanley Cup finals . d Steve But I digress . Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Paul!!! Hey, rumour has it you are now 18 Congratulations on making it to adulthood Enjoy the day and hope you have many more

Hartford played in the now non existent WHA from '72-'79. The WHA was an attempt to have competition to the NHL. When the league collapsed in '79, I know Hartford, and I believe the Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets and the Quebec Nordiques all became part of the NHL. Interestingly, only Edmonton remains of the original teams. Quebec went the Colorado, Winnipeg went to Phoenix, and Hartford went to Raleigh N.C. to become the Carolina Hurricanes. Vancouver on the other hand became part of the NHL in 1970 along with the Buffalo Sabres. Vancouver was an expansion team and I believe was not a team in another league before. Vancouver did have another team called the Blazers who were sold to Calgary to become the Cowboys. Not sure if that was the WHA or not. As far as there logo's, I'm not exactly sure of the shoulder logo, but it is quite possible that they have a whales tail on it. The teams logo is a Orca in a arc, and is strikingly close to a logo that Sportsnet (Canadian National Sports Network) uses. It seems their new uniforms they borrowed a lot of stuff. At least they are much better than the horrible uniforms of the '80's and '90's If you want to cheer for Vancouver though, I'm sure tjajcj will be happy One last side note about moving teams, rumours have that Phoenix might come full circle and end up back in Winnipeg after the move to Phoenix. It will be seen on Monday if the City of Glendale wants to save the team and make some concessions on the monies owed.

I must declare this ending a cliffhanger Evil, no, but one still. The sexual energy at the end of that chapter was intense. Was Jake about to jump Brett's bones, afterall Brett has kissed Jake before, so there must be some mutal attraction. Or was Chas about to deflower Jake Great chapter CJ and thanks

Hmmm, I bet you are going to blame the cold on Canada (shhhhhh Linxe ). Well I'm glad to see you haven't been implicated in the Time Square incident, or else we wouldn't have got the rest of Circumnavigation. Before CJ comments on his next leg of the trip, I have it on good authority (my Quebecois spies) that he was spotted looking over some cliffs overlooking the Saint Lawrence Seaway. Don't believe any lies from the goat . BTW, Welcome back
