Okay, maybe not so much with this chapter, but more with the comments on the last one. In this chapter George referred to Bridget's asset lists on the Ares. I know that Bridget is concerned that the papers may be in a water tight container in a secret compartment on the Ares and if found they could implicate her to the drug running business. The thing is those papers are so long in the past. Wouldn't she have dispersed said assets and acquired new ones over the years? I just don't see the list (and she admitted she doesn't know if her hubby had it or not) is enough for Sanchez and Bridget on being so intent on killing Trevor and now eliminating Joel. There must be something that we are missing. What is it? oh, BTW, thanks for the chapter CJ

Finally got to see Episodes 3 through 7 today (look up couch potato today and there will be a picture of me). I really enjoyed the whole series from beginning to end. Like Tiger the end wrapped things up really nicely. Does anyone know if it is remotely factual, or totally fiction based? Thanks for recommending it Tim

Tim, I think I know what you are talking about. It is a debate I have with myself often. The funny thing is that you probably know as well as I do when you think about how things are you spiral down. It is when you wake up and have something on the go that you get back on track and everything seems okay. I bet if you could write out the good days compared to the bad ones and be honest, the good ones would outweigh the others. The sad thing is that we don't remember the good ones as easily as the bad ones. Let us know how things are tomorrow

Question Robbie, since you have swam in the area. I picture the waters around the island to be clear and be able to see to the bottom clearly on a sunny day. Am I correct to make this assumption? Last time i checked in my mirror, I had 3 limbs ( ), and could be considered fully human. I seem to see cliffs in all the same places as MikeL. I think a better question to pose is there a genetic link between goats and lying? Or is it this because of the fact that the goat wears such dark sunglasses that he cannot see the cliffs right in front of him? Well that is my opinion, I will let everyone else weigh in.

I am curious about the rock and the phone. I wonder if Trevor talks to his dad and they actually talk civilly to each others what he may find out and the same for his Dad. If Trevor mentions the rock and that it looks like one that came from outside his house or his Dad's shop outside, will that make Dirk realise that he was robbed? Then will Dirk finally meet with Officer Gonzales and then by a trickle down effect they notice that the propane tank was taken? Remember Joel, Lisa and Trevor doing the inventory not too long ago? I think that may have been a hidden clue to something in the future. A few calls from Florida to Egypt and some investigating may also reveal the police override code being used in the middle of the night at Dirks shop. I have a feeling that Bridget and George are about to be under the microscope very soon. Another thing mentioned earlier in the topic was that no wreckage was found. Yet Bridget said to Sanchez that she found wreckage floating after she confessed to both him and George that she had to tell the truth in this one instance. So why would we assume that the boat wasn't destroyed? Could we make an assumption that Bridget would lie about not lying?

I don't believe they celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, the pilgrims stopped at North America I do believe the goat may be going traveling soon and may or may not be entering BC , I'd check out your life insurance policy Conner for explosion coverage So, first thanks CJ for the chapter, I'm really getting into it and enjoying the reappearance of the cliffhangers that you love to insert. A lot of great speculation. I foresee Trevor being hailed and stopped by some countries naval vessel (maybe a destroyer) off the coast of Somalia once the Egyptian police find a blown apart propane tank on the bottom of the lake and the floating life jackets. I imagine they will put out a arrest warrant to at least question Trevor some more. Since there is many warships off the coast of Somalia, one could pick him up. I like Trebs sleuthing through the prologue. I knew their must be clues in there, but I was too thick to see them. Thumbs up to Trebs The only thing is that I have a alternate ending. It is one that CJ has proposed for another story and I think he has been pinning to use it himself. See, isn't that the most logical explanation yet

So we have bombs and possibly Trevor at risk. I have a funny feeling that Trevor will be just fine. First something caught my attention that back in chapter 31 Trevor talked about 3 propane tanks, yet when Mufid opened the storage container there was only two. If I were to give the goat an out, I would assume that the 3rd tank is hooked up to the stove already. Not sure if that is considered safe or not, but may explain the 3 tanks. Here though is the reason I think Trevor is safe. If you don't want to know why I think, then don't read BTW, thanks for the chapter CJ

Bes, Talon, Eric, Thaddeus, nitro, bombs, boats, etc.......How can you guys even be thinking about that stuff :o :o There is a major scene in this chapter that has forever smeared Joels name. Here's why: It would be fair to say we all detest Brigette and George for many things, but mostly because they are drug smugglers. Note, smugglers. Now the goat has put Joel in the same boat as them by making him a diamond smuggler into the US . So lets not get with talk about bombs and boats and such and stick to the fact that Joel is now a felon. Hmmm, I wonder what the statue of limitatons of smuggling is in the US? AH HA!!! Maybe this is the clue we have been looking for Benji, is this a freudian slip or are you suggesting that there may be some fun aboard Eric's dick deck ??

i heard about this and thought about starting a topic on it, but decided to wait till I had more information. First off, the embarrassing thing is that it happened in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Probably the more 'gay tolerant' city in Alberta. I heard a radio interview with the Golden League President and this was brought up. My understanding is the team, the Edmonton Capitals suspended Bowers before he even had the chance to leave the park. The league did move quickly suspending him indefinitely while the investigation was to be completed (usually in pro sports they do the investigation first and then decide the punishment. After the two days, they had enough information to ask for his resignation or be fired. Also the league and team was so appalled by the behavior that they are making mandatory sensitivity training toward sexual orientation for all player, officials and management that are in the league within the next year. The president himself has spoken out against Bowers and has put out a ultimatum to everyone in the league that they will have zero tolerance, as they did in this case, for all future cases of harassment. I hope Major League Baseball is aware of this incident and maybe makes their own moves toward educating what is not acceptable in the bigs as well.
