I know it is the eve before the release of Chapter 28, but I'm forbidden to double post and I do have some interesting theories So, we know that Bridget and George are together and George is looking after Bridget's interests from within the police department. A logical guess would be that the boat George pulled up in is used in Bridget and George's drug running business. So I will go with that which takes me to this: Arnold found out that Bridget was using the Ares for her drug smuggling ways. Arnold filed for divorce and sold the Ares to eliminate her vehicle to run the drugs. He managed to sell it to Rachael who now has a former drug boat on her hands unknowingly. George has always been part of Bridget's posse. He is the one that actually killed Arnold and has protected Bridget by knowing what the police are doing next. Next, Bridget wanted the Ares back. It was her boat after all and Arnold had no right to sell it. She and George and possibly the other goon and another lady were the 'lawyers' who chartered the Ares and Rachel on the final trip. After being dropped off in the Caribbean, they took out the motor boat and pirated the Ares. They got rid of Rachael and it was Bridget that made the Mayday call on the radio (CJ said a female voice, not Rachael's in the prologue). Now maybe the reason for the boat to get the service in Boca Raton that Robbie questioned. Could it be that the Ares is being kept there by Bridget by a marina/repair yard that she knows and trusts her other drug boats to get their work/alterations done at? Now, I just have to work out the whole Dirk angle. What is he hiding for 10 years.

Well sorry for not updating sooner, work and life kind of got in the way First off I so wanted Montreal to make it, but I guess like Boston, they were playing way above their level. Now I think it is Philly's turn to self destruct with Chicago winning it in five. Well after many negotiations with other people, I sadly won't be able to go The August/Civic Day Long weekend is one of the most popular long weekends up here due to our 2 month summers. Great chapter CJ, thanks. I was wondering, and did some searching, but civil statute of limitations are different then criminal ones. Now we have a seven year AND a ten year statute that are being watched. We know it isn't murder or any felony that could have resulted in the death of someone, as those are indefinite. I'm wondering if there may have been something shady with the Chandlery, and the purchase of the Ares and the Atlantis that are linked. I guess (and it is a guess) that Dirk and Rachael bought the Ares from Bridget's husband for a steal as he was about to go through a divorce. Since Bridget revealed her hand that she knew all about how to sail and track the sailing of the Ares, maybe she was the captain of the Ares and was so incensed with her husband giving away her boat, that she took his life. Another thing, if I was unsure of Jim and Dirk not being a couple, this chapter settled it for me. Jim and Dirk are NOT a couple. Too many things were put that chapter to misdirect us. Jim had his poker face on when he met with the detective and wouldn't react one way or another when Gonzales called them a couple. Then, when the officer was talking to the senior detective, all he told him was lies. Why would he tell him one truth, Jim and Dirk being lovers, and lie about everything else? I too think that when Joel reads of Trevor's mishap in the Atlantic and falling overboard, not even the threat of his parents disowning him will get him to come back to the States and leave Trevor on his own. So here is an overview of my current guesses: - Dirk and Jim are not lovers - Bridget killed her husband over the sale of her boat, the Ares - Bridget and Senior Detective Alford were having an affair - Bridget killed and sank the Ares, as if she couldn't have her boat, nobody would (Robbie's hint now makes me think that Bridget made the mayday call, not Rachael, and gave the incorrect coordinates. - The divorce was nothing more than that, divorce. No murder, threats, affairs, etc. They just got caught up in Bridget's dirty cover up. I imagine the goat won't say too much on this though

After that hawt and steamy close of the last chapter, Cliff has decided to give us Chapter 26 entitled Dueling Theories. Will Trevor have his sexual desires sated for at least a couple of days, or was the previous ending just some misdirection to find Trevor extremely frustrated now. I'm off to find out

Actually I think anyone who could have picked this year is pretty amazing. Just the east has been so unprdictable. Who would have thought the number 7 and 8 team would be fighting to go to the cup. The west has been different in that San Jose is actually playing well and Detroit bowed out early. Honestly Tarin, I wouldn't have done as good

Yeah, the coach was a jerk to point out the violation, when he knew that this girl legitimately beat his team. Yeah, there is a rule saying no jewelry. I just want to get off my high horse though and say I really don't know if I'd react differently. Anyone who has played any competitive sports know that at that age, for the coach and the players you look for any and all advantages to make you win. In my case it was hockey. Usually you would wait to near the end of the game and then call for a stick measurement on someone from the other team and hope to get a two minute power play out of it. Generally you did, cause someone was either ignorant to their stick or on purposely had a curve to intensify their shot. I've seen in university and professional football a player on the other team pointed out to the ref that may be missing a knee pad resulting in the player removed from the game for a play and a ten yard penalty. Rules are rules, and they are their for both sides. I wonder if the losing team coach would have been all high and mighty if he noticed one of the other team members in a violation of a rule? I think not. Yes there is a bad guy in this story, as there usually is in life. I just feel that the media created a story out of nothing over sour grapes.
