Well have we all recovered from our New Year's Eve festivities? Are we back to work if you took some time off for the Holiday Season? Are the students getting ready to head back to skool on Monday? Are you still writing 2018 down on everything? Enough of those questions and let's move on to the most pressing question on my mind right now... How do you have a pair of underwear? Like do you say I need to grab a clean pair of underwear? Do you grab two, or one? So how is it a pair? While you are trying to wrap your mind around that one, let's see what the blog brought us all this week! Chapter 111 Private Tuition
wildone commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 111 Private Tuition
Merry New Year Dodger!!! So, with the ultra cute boy, if I recall right, Nathan and Robbie never met the cute blonde boy while going to the movie theater, but instead her sister, who talked her brother up. I was hoping things would get better, but there is things that are still lingering Not knowing what is causing him to pass out, Don's bible study, and what is up with Luke? The icing on the cake was how Rory broke the news to Robbie that he wanted to be his best friend, but without benefits. I can relate to that personally. Thanks for sharing Dodger! -
I have a resolution that I kind of made a few weeks ago. My Dad recently gave up driving and is relying on the kids, a bit more me, to help him out. I have been using more patience and hope that I can keep that up throughout the New Year. I just keep reminding myself how grumpy I will be when I have to give up mine Also, I think it is a realistic goal and the only thing I'm giving up personally is my stress and sometimes frustration.

So, who is ready to bring in the New Year with a bang? Well let's do something a little different as we all here at GA enjoyed the holidays so let's finish off with you taking over! Why don't we discuss the New Year. I know a few years ago I failed miserably when I said I wanted to be more of a drama queen in the coming year Well, some of you may have thought I'd succeeded. But what the h e double hockey sticks, lets ask you what you are going to make your resolution to be this upcoming year . I will try to get myself to recall it towards the end of 2019 and we can see how we all did Well lets see what did happen in the blogs this week! Chapter 110 All or Nothing
wildone commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 110 All or Nothing
First and foremost Dodger, Merry Christmas to you and thank you for this wonderful present to all of us on Christmas Day! My mom always made me write thank you letters for Christmas and Birthdays, so consider this your letter and my mom will be happy that I followed through Every time you and other authors put 'pen to paper' it is a gift to everyone that has the chance to read the story that you have chosen to tell. Hopefully you know how much we appreciate your gift Now back to the story . After reading it, I couldn't help but to think that Robbie's reaction is perfectly normal. I mean, how normal is it to have your Uncle make a promise to you that you don't have to go to his counseling if you are good. Kind of like telling a kid they won't get Christmas presents if they are not good. Well all kids aren't good, but they still get presents. Also, who decides if Robbie is good or not and what are the tangible measures that both sides are being held to? Oh right, Don decides that 100%. How normal is it to have a random girl pass you in the hallway at school and tell you, "You've got it comin, fag boy". This after just recovering from a lengthy hospital stay where someone pushed him down some stairs in what seemed to be a hate crime! How normal is it for a counselor to be accused of doing illegal conversion therapy by a retired social worker and a principle, two other people in a position of trust. Although they may not realize it, they might be putting Robbie in between a rock and a hard place. As much as Don is not acting in his own interest, Robbie really doesn't have anywhere to go and leaving would mean that he is leaving Nicola, Daniel, and Amy as well. How normal is that really no one in your adoptive family seems to even recognize that your mother died a year ago? That you might be still grieving and might need some help with that? So anxiety and passing out, that seems about normal to me for all that he is going though. Add in the normal social anxiety of this ex girlfriend interjecting on love or lack of love life and trying to get him to come over to her house, and the fact his best friend is getting hassled by others of being his new boyfriend (remember the reason for the Daniel/Nathan no longer best friends story) and his second best friend slowly turning into his old self at school? I wonder how much I could tolerate at 16 before my dam burst too Hopefully we start to see things get better before they get any worse. Poor Robbie. -
Happy Birthday Mikiesboy Hope you have a great Birthday today!! Enjoy it, they are all well worth it

Hi Fae, I don’t believe there is a way as they are two different applications. What I would suggest is copying and posting your status update into a blog and then let myself or the other Mods or Admins know and we can hide the status update. Unfortunately we can’t move the replies either. We don’t have any access to create content for any member besides ourselves. Let it me know what you would like to do. Steve

Chapter 108 A Spiritual Guide
wildone commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 108 A Spiritual Guide
Let's start with what made me laugh 'Same chance as stepping in rocking horse shit.' Some of these one liners out of Robbie are just too funny,, and he must have got them from you Dodger As for Robbie not being able to hold his tongue, he did pretty good when Sue said he didn't need to go to school as Mr. Symmonds would be coming to their house. What she didn't mention is that he is banned from entering the school and Mr. Andrews wouldn't let him meet with him in the school. I know that Mr. Andrews did mention that he couldn't control what Don and Mr. Symmonds did outside of the school, but he also said to expect a call today from Walter. I guess that is still to come All in all, I think Robbie handled it pretty good. If Robbie is shaking with nerves or anger, the asshole left even madder than Robbie, and Robbie did that to him With recording, there is no need to hide what he is doing. If, and a big if, the asshole comes back for another session, Robbie needs to pull out his phone and record the whole session and tell him he is doing so. If he objects, simply tell him he is too uncomfortable to be in a room alone with him without adult supervision. Asshole will leave a second time even madder than the first. I'm not sure where this is going to go with him, but as soon as he mentioned spiritual guidance, my haunches went up . If this is going to be the start of a tale into conversion therapy, I am going to be really, really, really pissed! There is a reason most countries are trying to ban this with minors. Nuff said. So guess I will wait patiently (refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh......) to see what Walter has to say. If Don will think he can teach Robbie manners? Will Nicola, Daniel and Robbie finally make a united front against Don and Sue? Will Mr. Andrews intervene on Robbie's behalf, and how? What will the meeting in Mr. Andrews office be about on Monday? Refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh -

Lest we forget In case you are wondering what this is, it is something that is done in countries around the world, but my exposure has always been in Canada. Today is November 11th and Remembrance Day. It is a day to reflect on those that have served and still serving for their countries. It doesn't matter what side they were on, they were willing to put their own lives on the line to defend what they believed in. This year also marks the 100th Anniversary of Armistice, the end of the 1st World War. Different countries have different names, but it is all for the same reason. Please share a Canadian Tradition; On the 11th hour on the 11th day, or the 11th month, take a personal 2 minutes of silence to honour all of those whom stood up for all of us and those that continue to do so. I don't know if this is your objective Dodger, but I am beginning to like Tyrone more and more with each chapter Has he been an ass? Yes, definitely. But has Andy been an ass too? You betcha. Really, the two are made for each others. Oh, I had to stop reading because of the laughing as I pictured the scene as a Benny Hill episode. I loved all the stuff they did, just didn't like all the big boobies. I felt that was just wrong Shall be interesting to see what Jazz has to say about the whole thing. Didn't Andy have a signed CD for her before the exit window left? At least he should have got another one with Tyrone captive in his room all day. With his parents, from their actual words, they seem to be accurate reflected by Andy's POV. Too bad Looking for the next chapter...lets say Thursday night? Canadian Time No, make it California time
