  1. I was thinking maybe @Cia, but then these two threw cold water on that idea: Do you have a significant other? No comment. Do you have any pets? Not at the moment Unless she is hiding Josh from us, or not claiming Cujo, her killer chihuahua .
  2. So I got to use the sad like on this chapter. 😢 Not only has Robbie’s future became bleak due to others influence (Don) but also Robbie’s (Stephanie and Nathan). If Nathan is on the prowl for Robbie again, and Robbie can’t see the danger in that, then more misery, frustration, anger, and unhappiness seems to be in his future. I agree we need Jo to enter the picture again and slap Robbie up the side of head and point out how him making all these dumb choices will make it next to impossible for her to even begin to protect him from Don. Imagine being in family court with Jo and Robbie on one side and Don and his lawyer on the other, and all the truth from the past 3 chapters are revealed??? Sorry, even I would side with Don and have Jo removed from his case.
  3. Well I look outside and it is yet snowing again! This is the 3rd time it has snowed this week, but this time it is actually going to get cold. You all can think of me as I go to the Western Semi Final of the Canadian Football League between my Calgary Stampeders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers! Will still be snowing tomorrow at game time and with the windchill it will be a balmy -22 C (7.6F). Add in fact that it is getting dark out at 4:50 PM now, it should be a great day!!! I think I shall imbibe in some internal antifreeze starting tonight. Now onto one final, last chance, no more after this, announcement from me on the 2019 Fall Anthology (well maybe one more down below): Friday, November 15th is your last chance to get your Anthology Entries into the Proof Reading Team So what else happened this week? Monday, Cia brought us the November CSR Feature story: Then on Wednesday, Carlos maybe gave us the final installment of the Ask An Author 2.0 On Thursday, Myr came by to start a new round of stories from a past Anthology: Then the week came to a close at the GA News Blog with Wayne, aka @comicfan, giving us some US Thanksgiving prompts: Funny you should ask, I was just thinking to myself, how did we do on our goals last week? **Please note that you have less than 1 week to get your anthology entries in ** Anthologies Author Anthology Questionnaire - Click here to participate Anthology 101 - New in the Anthology Forum. So this explains a lot about you, Val Nice story, warmed me up on this chilly night.
  5. Every week we have different blogs featured here on the GA News Blog. For the past month and a half, Thursdays have been used to feature a past Anthology or Contest with new stories from that feature spread out over a month. This blog is done by the omnipotent one, the big kahuna, the big cheese, the master of all, the seerer of all things GA, aka @Myr Well I didn't happened to notice this past Thursday that Myr's anthology blog wasn't featured on Thursday 😮 and not until Thursday night. Then on Friday I featured @comicfan's previous weeks Prompt Blog instead of this weeks So I thought I would get ahead of all the other Admins Resume for Steve Wildone Looking for work as an online community Admin. I am a 51 year old, washed up, and over the hill former Admin at a large gay writing site. Assets I believe I have are a great sense of humour and more than a 100 Chicken Crossing the Road jokes that I'm willing to share. Areas to work on include spelling, punctuation and grammer, even though I worked at a writing site. I tend to be forgetful of late. I have over 100 Chicken Crossing the Road jokes that I'm willing to share. Looking for at least 3 times my compensation at my previous site. References and more information available upon request. So shall I do my last wrap up? Monday, Cia held a CSR Discussion: And on the eve of Halloween, Cia was back with a list of Scary Short Stories! Then on Thursday, it actually did happen, Myr looked back at a Halloween Contest from 2017: On Friday, we finally got the right Prompts posted We had a great week at meeting our goals this past week! Surpassed all but 1 and we just barely missed that one. **Please note that you have less than 2 weeks to get your anthology entries in ** Anthologies Author Anthology Questionnaire - Click here to participate Anthology 101 - New in the Anthology Forum. 6. Our introduction to Henry Atwood is the beginning of many great stories by a great author. I’m sure you will fall in love with Henry like so many others. This story I’ve come back to read over and over again!

    A Warning

I’m glad whatever it is has escaped my fridge and is happy living in your’s now.

    Chapter 4

Interesting that the two boys have fallen in love, but yet their fathers must not see eye to eye I wonder if this will be a Romeo and Juliet tale, or happier ending story. Peter seems like he has little tolerance for either where Henry seems to be on the side of the underdog. Should be interesting to see the outcome of that. Wonder if Rudi will make the eventual decision on where the forest begins and ends? Doesn't sound like a win win situation the way it has been presented so far. Thanks for sharing Mike.

    Chapter 3

Liking where this is going and interesting how things are falling into place

    Chapter 2

Okay, things are starting to come together. It appears that Yuli is the sone of the ‘mayor’ of the new town, and Roman is the son of the ‘mayor’ of the old town, which looks down there noses at the new town. Did I get that right? i liked the chance encounter that Yuli had with Henry and then the continuance with Ed. Seems like he might be falling in with the right crowd For some reason I think there might be more to Bolo, but I guess we all will have to wait to find out. Also this new character Mattyas, wonder if he’ll factor in more. For a moment I was thinking it might be Gavin Thanks for sharing Mike!

    Chapter 1

Lots of new characters in among the old Looking forward to Will naming Henry to actually host and expect him to do a number at the 2005 finale 😛 I don’t see Rothenia on a modern map of Europe so I imagine his singing was considered audio terrorism, and Europe joined forces to wipe Henry off the map
  12. Wow, I didn't even realize it was Saturday night going onto Sunday morning in my here parts! But then again, for some reason I didn't realize we were in the last week of October too 😮 Halloween on Thursday, and then November on Friday, we are well on our way to wrapping up 2019 and into the 2020's Before I get looking too far into the future, the meaning of the wrap up to do a visit of the past, so let's look what happened here the past week on the GA News Blog. Monday, Cia brought us all the October Classic Feature: On Tuesday, Renee was back to reveal all who the Author Guess Who subject was: Then on Wednesday, Cia was back with the October Classic Excerpt: On Thursday, Myr wrapped up the look back at the 2014 Scars! Anthology: Friday was Wayne front and centre bringing everyone some prompts to get us into the mood of the 31st of October: Then on Saturday, I want to mention Myr updated us all on the completion of stats on stories and moving onto chapter stats. He shared some interesting information on how these will work: So that was a busy week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday oh my! Shall we also take a peek at how we did on reaching our goals in the past week? Anthologies Author Anthology Questionnaire - Click here to participate Anthology 101 - New in the Anthology Forum. 13. What a great story. Tackles a lot of the hard issues but has you in stitches the latter half Two, possibly three story lines all intertwined with amazing growth of all characters. Well worth the read!

    Hide and Seek

Hmmm, I wonder who the fouled mouth imp living downstairs is. I’d ask if he’d talk to his mother that way, but he probably does 😜

    Chapter 20

Bravo, Mike i remember reading the previous version but have to admit that I ,couldn't recall the details as much but really loved this updated version. Justin has always been my second favorite character after Henry, so to have a mini Justy thrust upon him has been such a pleasure to read and fall in love with. Work has not been my friend the past handful of chapters so I’ve been bad about reviewing. But know that every chapter has brought me so much pleasure and laughter throughout One thing about this story is the immense growth of each character you have given us. Even Damien is happy with the ending knowing that there are ladies in the family, and I’m sure he was thinking it, not all poofs Can’t wait to read about the upcoming wedding. I hope Damien find a common bond with Prince of Tarlaheim;)
  16. wildone

    Chapter 12

Poofs everywhere Wait until he meets the grandparents I think the shit is about to hit the fan as Terry mentioned. With Damien mentioning Gussy and then the end of chapter, I wonder if he mentions Gussy and Danny are poofs too, what will happen? Looking forward to it.

    Chapter 11

I agree with you all. Wonder if the fantasy may come true, as there might be some unanswered questions. Could Justin take pity on Jade and get her in rehab rather than jail and then help her get on her feet with Sunni May AND Damien. I hope that although Damien has had his dad robbed from him for the past six years, I'm hoping Justy has the heart not to rob him of him mom in the future. Is there a stable at Haddesley Hal for a pony or two Not too sure how big Highgate is in London, probably not as big as Buckingham Palace, but regal and stately I'm sure If Justin exercises his parental rights and gets custody, how would social services look at him adopting Sunni May? I really don't remember the previous version of the story, so this is all guessing Thanks again for sharing Mike
  18. Skiddy-mer-rink-a-dink-a-boomp, skiddy-mer-rink-a-doo, Means I love you. Skiddy-mer-rink-a-dink-a-boomp, skiddy-mer-rink-a-doo, Means I'll be true Skiddy-mer-rink-a-dink-a-boomp, skiddy-mer-rink-a-doo, All the time he sings this rhyme Skiddy-mer-rink-a-dink-a-boomp, skiddy-mer-rink-a-doo, Means I love you. Why is it the older I get, the more appealing that nursery rhyme songs appeal to me? Am I regressing? Anyhooooo On Monday @spikey582 had a great review of Cole Matthews story, Shade. On Thursday we had episode of the tetralogy of Anthology flashback: Also Thursday, Myr had some exciting news about the Stories Archive Update. Friday was Prompt Friday and that means Wayne dropped by: Now how did we do towards our goals last week? Chapter 10

Ever read a line and it just starts you giggling uncontollably and smiling through the rest of the chapter? Thanks for sharing Mike! Loving it so far
  20. wildone

    Chapter 9

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it Ever since the other chapter with Danny's first interaction with whom we know as Damien for sure, the little imp, his language so reminded me of the first line out of Justin's mouth in Nathan and the Chav Prince I hope that the agents that Justin has hired are monitoring media as well for both Ahmed and Jade and get this little tidbit. But that is a good question Daddy, will Nathan drop things and go, or will Justin leave Japan asap? Or, could Matt and Andy drop what they are doing and rush over to meet their grandson? Either way, the hiding seems to be over, and the seeking is about to begin.

Well so much for Wesley sticking up for him
  22. wildone

    Chapter 5

Wow, not the coming out you would expect for either of the boys. I would assume that James went to Medwardine School, and I’m sure that homophobic attitude won’t have been accepted there. Not after Henry and Ed’s lasting impression on the staff and student body. I know Wesley gave Danny some teasing about working at Homo Hall, but I’m hoping that when it matters he will be there for Danny. He may need the support with their dad.

    I loved this line 😛

  25. Good Day Everyone! This is Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, and I'm a little messed up on what day it is It is like I forgot that today is Sunday. Oh well. Here is what happened in these parts of GA this past week.
