My aunt used to make soda bread every St. Patrick's Day. It's really good.

I used to love having a sandwich with my soup, or some form of bread to dip in it. I used to order cheesy garlic bread from the pizza shop around the corner to dunk in my soup. OMG it's sooooo gooooood. Unfortunately, I don't eat bread anymore because of the diabetes. Occasionally, I'll make a low carb sandwich with my soup, but now I generally eat soup sans sandwich. If dunking bread into soup makes you a heathen, then I'm right there with you, Wonder Q!

Depends on the soup, and the amount of soup served. Lighter soups definitely need something else to accompany them. Stews are like a thick soup, but I tend to think of them as being served over something, like rice or pasta. I also think of stews as having gravy as opposed to broth.

Chicken noodle soup, Italian wedding soup, ham chowder, seafood chowder, zuppa Toscana... you've seriously never heard of putting meat in soup? I make a really good chicken cordon bleu soup too.

I beg to differ. I made cheesy ham and broccoli soup with bacon. Lots of meat and healthy veg. and very filling!

That pesky now. We had a dusting earlier, now it's just cold and windy. I moved my car into the garage, just in case the lake effect band shifts northward. The southtowns are supposed to get 3-6" though. Bleh.
