    She tripped on something in her shed after she put the lawn mower away after mowing her lawn yesterday, and fell on her knee. It's swollen and painful today, but wasn't too bad right after she fell.

    Well good news about my mom... doc doesn't think she broke or tore anything. So rest, ice, and if it's not better next week, then x-rays.

    Good morning! We set a record yesterday... 81F! Of course, it dropped to the 40s overnight and will stay that way through the weekend. We got a storm last night, but it was sunny when Joker decided to wake me up by singing the song of his people loudly and repeatedly while using the door as percussion accompaniment. Dark clouds have moved in again. It's a good day for writing.

    Your aunt sounds like a great lady We may hit a record high here today. It's sunny out and really warm-- in the mid 70s. I got up early and went to the grocery store to pick up a few things along with my prescriptions. Unfortunately I left my list at home I still did pretty good though. I only forgot two things that were on the list. I'm making a cauliflower and butternut squash curry for lunch. I was going to make it for dinner, but couldn't wait It smells sooo goood in here 🤤

    It's been rainy and dreary here all week, and today is no exception. At least it's fairly warm out. We may even set a record tomorrow! I had my annual physical today. Everything was good for the most part. My doctor is sending me for a sleep study. They also cleaned my ears, since they were pretty occluded with wax. They feel so much better now! And now I won't have to deal with them getting plugged so often.

    Heinrich Sr treats Rick like an incompetent teenager instead of the competent adult he is. Everything revolves around him and his view of what he wants/wanted in life. Even if Rick did have children, who's to say they'd want to take over the business? I hate it when people insinuate themselves into your life and try to run it for you. Telling his father he's not interested in Rita should be the end of the conversation. His father thinks he means well, but in reality, he's only pushing Rick further away. Rick needs his own business to get out from underneath his father's shadow. Now we need more piano teacher!

    GAH! How did I miss this last week? I agree with Dr P. I don't think the landing spot was coincidental. Based on the reactions of Bouncer and the wildlife, I'm guessing these are not friendly visitors.

    I had a bit of a lazy weekend, since I had a pretty busy week. I wrote two whole sentences of a new story... It's a bit gloomy and chilly out. I have soup simmering on the stove for dinner later. I made cheesy chicken and cauli rice chowder. I'll play some Candy Crush while I wait for Cole to call me so we can catch up. Hope everyone had a relaxing day!
