    It was 36 when I went grocery shopping, and it's not supposed to get much warmer than that today. It's drizzling a little bit, with a few flakes mixed in, but none of the s- word, at least in this area. My BFF got a nice coating of snow where she lives.

    Great chapter! I could feel the music and see the stars. It seems there's a cosmic connection drawing Rick to Cedarcrest. Rick is trying to fulfill the promise he made to his mom, but I doubt she'd want him to be stuck under his thumb the way he is. She'd want him to lead his own life and be happy. Hopefully this is the start.

    Who knew kitty litter could be dangerous? I accidentally smashed my foot into a bag of kitty litter yesterday and think I may have broken a toe. It's all swollen and black and blue and hurts. So I have an appointment this afternoon to get it looked at.

    We dropped into the 30s overnight. My car had a nice layer of frost on it this morning. I have my furnace set at 63, but may need to bump it up a couple of degrees since I'm spending so much time at home now.

    Trick or treating isn't banned here, but most towns are doing alternative events, like trunk or treating. I bought candy just in case I get some trick or treaters. Cia has some interesting new titles The truth about Steve is revealed! *ducks and hides*

    She tripped on something in her shed after she put the lawn mower away after mowing her lawn yesterday, and fell on her knee. It's swollen and painful today, but wasn't too bad right after she fell.

    Well good news about my mom... doc doesn't think she broke or tore anything. So rest, ice, and if it's not better next week, then x-rays.
