    Wowee... it's really nasty out right now. We've had high winds all day, along with dark skies and drizzle. Now we've got a line of intense storms coming through, with higher winds, downpours, and really dark skies.

    I totally agree! Great chapter! I had a feeling they'd meet at the Farmer's Market. Gus immediately recognized him, so that's good. It means he noticed him. There are a lot of parallels in their lives, even if the particulars are different. Gus is enjoying his time with Rick, and I'm sure they'll be spending a lot more time together. I look forward to seeing their relationship develop. Rick needs to refuse to complete any more work for Rita until he gets paid. Something is definitely up there. I'm not so sure it's deliberate scamming, but maybe more a lack of funds. I can see Rita as someone who lives significantly above her means.

    Garjah seems to want to take good care of Essell. I wonder who's in charge, since it's not the doctor, and what their agenda is. I hope the food isn't too bad... as a picky eater, I can't imagine being served alien food.
