Well I wasn't quite sure. The box wasn't totally clear about the nature of its contents.

I love the sepia tone. It gives the photo a real antique look. Is there something fragile in the box by the wall?

The best fish and chips I ever had was at a British Pub in Minneapolis. Cole Matthews and I went there for lunch and got the fish and chips, plus bangers and mash, and split the portions. It was some of the best food I've ever had. :)

I think calling it anything other than 'fish and chips' would be sacrilege Here, we just say 'fish fry', and they're very popular on Fridays. Some restaurants will have fish and chips on the menu, though that's the only time they're called 'chips' and not 'fries'.

I had bratwurst with cauli/broccoli hash browns and what was supposed to be scrambled eggs, but ended up becoming a mangled omelet type thing instead, with lots of cheese.

Rita is spending money she doesn't have yet and should be honest with Rick about it instead of blowing him off. She needs to make some kind of good faith payment, or set up a payment plan. Expecting Rick to work for free is ridiculous. And that's what she's doing by not paying her bill. At least Rick is finally demanding payment, although I have a feeling his efforts will be fruitless until her payday comes in. I think Helene is Gus' performing partner. I'm willing to bet the broken arm was an accident. Sexyhunk is starting to get creepy. I'm really curious as to who he is, and I have a feeling his identity will have a devastating effect on Rick. Oh, and I think either Gus or Magda bought Cedarcrest, but I could be wrong. Maybe having new ownership will wash away the sins of the past.

So I found out today my work is closing down again, because my area is now in a designated "orange" zone. So it looks like I won't be brought back anytime soon. At this rate, I just hope I can return before my unemployment runs out.

I read this story this afternoon, and I highly recommend it. It's very well written and perfect for getting in the holiday mood.
