We all have our things And this bee is not tiny.

I do all of those things. I can't kill bugs. I put a glass over them and then bring them outside and liberate them. I'm phobic of bees though. By bees, I mean anything yellow and black with a stinger. I know all the good things bees do, but it doesn't mitigate the phobia. So every time I see one, I completely and irrationally freak out.

I had this discussion with an author once. It was either @Timothy M. or @aditus In the story, the character was seated on their bed and reached down to pick something up off the floor. I said it wasn't possible, but didn't realize how much taller our beds are here

There's a lot of variables they failed to account for. I understand wanting to get rid of her ASAP and protect their friends and family, but tipping off a vampire to your plans isn't a great idea. Angela's creator is surely around and I wonder if there's more zombies too. It's not easy to off a vamp. Having two of them will help.

Peter needs to figure out what's going on with Simon. So far, it seems like a very one-sided 'relationship'. Simon clearly has issues and it's obvious he doesn't want his step-dad to know about Peter. No surprise Angela is a vampire. Now what are they going to do about it before anyone else dies....

Curiouser and curiouser... Angela floating at the window reminded me of the Lost Boys. Not the Peter Pan ones... the '80s vampire ones I'm also wondering what happened to Simon. I'm sure he'll open up to Peter at some point.

I don't know how things work in Australia, but here, if his parents are deceased he would possibly be getting some kind of governmental assistance, like social security. They may have also left him some money.

Well it's good Simon and Peter are becoming friends. Simon is opening up more and letting Peter into his life. I have a feeling Simon is on his own and there is no step-dad. Maybe he keeps up the pretense because he doesn't want to go into the system. We're still no closer to solving the mystery of the dead teens and what they've become, but that will come. Hopefully no one else will suffer the same fate.

I made "Golden soup" tonight for dinner, along with a grilled cheese sandwich on jalapeno cauli rounds. I tweaked the recipe a little bit. I used veggie stock instead of water and used 2 1/2 teaspoons of turmeric vs 1 tablespoon. It was absolutely delicious. I can't say I blame the pagan girls for acting a bit goofy. If they are doing black magic or other rituals, then I can't see them trusting two strangers who show up for unknown-to-them reasons. We get to see more of Simon and understand him a bit better. Peter put himself out there... now we'll see how Simon reacts! And now we have the mystery of Angela. Makes you wonder what else is in that forest.

I'd be pretty freaked out too, if I ran into a nest of zombies. Simon is still a mystery, although now he and Peter are closer to becoming friends. It will be interesting to see what the pagan club has to say.
