Dunno, since I bought them pre-shaved I imagine you could use a mandoline. I've always used knives, but it's time-consuming, so I'd rather pay more for pre-shaved. I would think you'd like them, since you like shaved things

You can have all the fungus and green evil things you want. I'll have the Brussels sprouts and broccoli instead OMG I had the best breakfast this morning... for dinner last night I made shaved Brussels sprouts with bacon, smoked sausage, and pecans. I had some leftover, so heated it up for brekkie and added a couple fried eggs on top. 🤤 I could eat that every day.

Not yet. It arrives tomorrow. The old one decided it would start charging again, so I'm using that one till I get the new one.

I got the shipping notice this afternoon Of course, now my old one is charging just fine. Well, sort of fine. Only one battery is charging since it's at 62%, despite being plugged in all day. So now I'll have two computers.

It's 34 F and snowing here.

I slept a little bit better, thanks. My doctor recommended I try melatonin, so I bought some today. I'll see if it helps tonight.

Well, unfortunately a lot of it will be spent at once so I can pay off bills that have been waiting. I'll also have a hefty bill from my ER visit. But it's nice to know that I'll actually be able to pay it.

Woo hoo! I finally heard from unemployment and my claim is approved So now let's see how long it will take to get the money in my account.

I think time stopped in March, when we all went on lockdown It's snowing out, although it won't accumulate more than a dusting. I went grocery shopping this morning and stocked up on everything. The store was well-stocked. The meat department was full. People are limited to two per item, but they've been doing that for over a month now. The only thing I wasn't able to get was a family pack of ground beef, but they did have smaller packs. The only things they were out of were the typical... cleaning supplies, soap, and baking materials. They were a bit low on eggs, too, but there was still some left. So now I have a fridge and freezer full again

I had an interesting day today. I had planned on getting up early to go grocery shopping, but didn't sleep well last night so hit snooze repeatedly instead of getting out of bed. So I'll go tomorrow instead. I don't have much choice, since there's not a lot left in the fridge. I managed to get a little bit of writing done. And took a shower A good friend of mine called shortly before lunch to see if I wanted to meet her at a local nature preserve and go for a walk, so I did. It was a lovely, but cool, day. Perfect for walking. Things are starting to bud and bloom here, and the preserve has several ponds and swampland in it. We saw some geese, who decided swam right up to the shore near us. And we also saw some turtles sunning themselves on logs. It felt wonderful to get out of the house. We wore masks and socially distanced from the few other people we saw out. So overall, I feel much less anxious. I really hope I'll get some good sleep tonight.
