    The storm we got today wasn't nearly as bad as predicted, although the drive in to work was pretty slick. We were supposed to get snow, then ice, then rain, but we skipped the snow and went straight to the ice. It usually takes me about a half hour to get to work and it took me 50 minutes. Thankfully it turned to rain for the drive home. The ten day forecast isn't much better. Either rain or snow pretty much every day.

    It's not that long for me, since I'm on the east coast. More like 5 or 6 hours.

    Well it's not the same as riding in a car to someone with motion sickness and claustrophobia. I've flown lots of times and have a system down to make it bearable. The flight to Europe has the added element of being over water, so I have an irrational fear of flying there because of that. I can do it with anti-anxiety meds though.
