    It's sunny at the moment, but I can hear the wind. We're not done with this storm yet, though. The lake effect band is currently working its way back north.

    Thanks, WQ It's scheduled for delivery on Monday. We're going from sub-zero to a high of 50! That's an almost 80 degree difference! Time to break out the shorts and t-shirts.

    I can see through my windows. The drifts aren't that high. I haven't seen any updated totals, but I'm guessing close to 20". There's more on the way today, but I'm not sure how much more. The snow band is now hovering south of Buffalo, but will shift north at some point. One of the routes I take to work is closed and there are still quite a few travel bans in place. That's due to whiteout conditions with heavy snow. Yesterday there were two huge accidents on different highways. One was a 20 car pileup and the other 15. There were tractor-trailers on the thruway, despite them being banned from travelling on it for the past three days.

    I will happily pass all you want over to you! It's not an unheard of amount of snow here. It's the wind that's making travel difficult. We were closed today and are closed again tomorrow. You know it's bad out if where I work closes lol

    Snow storm. I live near Buffalo, NY and we're getting slammed with a lake effect blizzard. 17" of snow so far with high winds and zub-zero F temps. It's quite nasty out.

    I am so happy to be home today. It's a mess here. Lots of travel bans and the whole county declared a state of emergency. A portion of the thruway is closed due to a 25 car pileup. O.o There's a blizzard warning until 1 am. The winds are supposed to increase along with snowfall rates of 1-3" per hour. Temps are supposed to drop even more tomorrow, then rise to the 30s over the weekend and a high of 50 on Monday! Crazy!
