“That’s not my package!” Walter tossed the square box back to the man standing in front of him. “OK. Give me a minute. I’ll be right back.” The man disappeared into the room behind him, shutting the door and snicking the lock. Walter crossed his arms and tapped his foot impatiently. A minute later, the man returned, carrying a rectangular box this time. He held it out, and Walter took it. “Oh my God, Dray! This isn’t it either! What the fucking hell? How can you not know

Master Caspian's Collection
Valkyrie commented on Aditus's story chapter in Master Caspian's Collection
I really liked this chapter because we learned more about Caspian and also the reason for the title of the story. I'm also wondering if Gideon is hiding another power, but can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out about Kavan's other power. -
More like two meters Last weekend, I was in Florida the day after hurricane Nicole... mid 80s, sunny, beautiful weather... strolling along the beach. Now this weekend we broke the record for the most snowfall in a 24 hour period in New York State. The worst hit areas got at least 77". They'll be getting more today because the snow band isn't finished yet and is moving southward again. You know it's going to be a doozy of a storm when they move the Bills game to another state Thankfully I live north of the worst hit areas, so didn't end up with nearly that much. As far as liking the 's' word... it's just a fact of life around here. I'm not crazy about it when it doubles my commute time to/from work or causes plans to be canceled. It can be really pretty, as long as I'm looking at it out of my window

After taking into consideration the results of the polls I conducted about the anthology, the team has reached a decision about what we’re offering next year. In 2023 we will be offering two site-wide events for authors to participate in – one anthology and one secret author contest. Stay tuned for further details on both! People overwhelmingly voted to have one theme for the anthology, and the majority wanted a committee to decide on themes, but also wanted to vote on themes. So here is how we will be handling theme selection for next year’s anthology: I will form a committee who will suggest themes and then narrow them down to a top five. Once the top five have been decided, I will create a poll for the GA membership to vote on. The top choice from that poll will be our theme for 2023. Anyone can become a member of the theme selection committee. I will be limiting the committee to five members, so if I get more volunteers than that, I will use a random generator to select the members. If you are interested in participating, please send me a PM before midnight EST on November 30th, and I will add your name to the list. Once I have selected the five committee members, I will invite them to the Anthology Development Club, where the discussion will take place. My goal is to have the theme for next year decided by the end of this year. A huge thank you to all who participated in the polls and discussion! Your feedback was instrumental in the development of the 2023 site author events.

Anthology Flashback - 2010 No Going Back
Valkyrie commented on Valkyrie's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Sorry about that. I didn’t try the links in the blog entry before posting. Try this: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/category/27-2010-fall-no-going-back/ -
I'm on vacation this week, so decided to re-feature one of our past anthologies. Check out the stories from 2010's anthology "No Going Back". Also, please be sure to vote in the two current polls in the Anthology section of the Writer's Club. Both polls close on November 17th. https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/category/27-2010-fall-no-going-back/

November CSR Feature: A Soldier's Guide to Single Parenting by Dodger
Valkyrie commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
This is the perfect introduction to Dodger's writing, for anyone who hasn't read his stories yet. I'm looking forward to the interview at the end of the month. -
Don't forget to vote in the polls and make your voice heard as far as the anthology(ies) for next year! Polls close on November 17th, then I will begin working on finalizing everything.

Thank you so much! There currently aren't any more stories featuring Patrick. There is one more story featuring Josh and Galen, and that's Chapter 10 of Our Christmas Songbook. I have plans to eventually write a prequel to The Hollow Hills, but I'm working on another story first. I'm notoriously slow when it comes to writing longer stories. There are a few of my early prompt responses that feature Hollow Hills characters. A couple of them feature Ethan and tell more about Elliot. I'd have to look up the chapter numbers, but they're found under 2014 Prompt Responses.

Yes, they really are. I used to teach therapeutic horseback riding, and the connections I witnessed were absolutely incredible.
