    We had 24 awesome stories for this anthology, so THANK YOU authors, for surpassing my goal of 20 🍾 Readers, keep up all the amazing comments, reviews, and reactions. You guys all rock! I will be out of town this weekend, so unfortunately, will have to wait until I get back to read the rest of the stories.

    Bring this historic Victorian back to her original beauty! The original woodwork is still intact and will WOW you as you enter the front door. The beautiful built-ins with leaded glass surround the living, den, and dining areas. The original woodburning insert and mantel enveloped by wood-cased windows set a focal point. Each of the 4 bedrooms is oversized with large walk-in closets. This home needs work, but the bones are great. Enjoy evenings on the large, covered porch. 2-car detached garage

    Buying and restoring an abandoned house was supposed to be Greg and David's retirement project. After losing David, Greg has to decide whether or not he wants to honor David's dream. After receiving a sign he can't ignore, Greg proceeds to buy a dilapidated Victorian and begin the restoration process. Along the way, he discovers the house holds some surprising secrets, which can help his healing process, if he takes the time to listen.

    September totally flew by, and I definitely need a vacation! I have to wait till November though *pouts* This was an interesting interview and I'll add the story to my ever-growing list.

    It was certainly an eventful week around here. It was the perfect week to feature @Aditus's and @Timothy M.'s great collaboration, especially given it was Aditus' ten year GA-versary 🍾 There was another important day this week, which Steve forgot to mention... let's all wish him a very Happy Birthday, although it sounds like he got the gift of a cold. Poor deposed despot. How have we not blown the chapter comment goal out of the water yet, with all the comments on the anthology stories? We totally annihilated the reviews goal! Keep it up, readers! You guys rock!

    This was a gripping, heart-breaking history lesson that had me riveted from when I started reading. I had never heard of Polari before, so I thank you for bringing it to life so vividly. It's a piece of history that shouldn't be forgotten. I'm glad Michael/Michelle was never caught. I hope she was able to find the peace and authenticity in her life she'd been searching for. This was a very well-written story and a perfect addition to the anthology. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    I really enjoyed this story. I liked seeing Jensen mature and how the relationship developed. As others have said, it was realistic in how it wasn't a love at first sight story, but rather a relationship that developed more organically, over time. Thank you for participating in the anthology, and for your enthusiasm and support. I really appreciate it!

    The same sentence resonated with me also when I first read this piece. This is a powerful essay that describes not only their journey, but the journey of so many others. While not the end-all-be-all, labels are important to help us find other individuals like ourselves, and that label can be extremely liberating. Realizing you're not crazy... our feelings have a name and others feel them too... it's one of the most powerful things we can experience. Some of us didn't have the terminology to describe our label during our formative years, so finding it now is so cathartic. Thank you for expressing so eloquently what so many have experienced. This was a perfect addition to the anthology, and I'm so glad you shared it with us. Thank you. Sincerely.

    This was a sweet story of a couple celebrating their anniversary on their terms. I totally relate to the memory thing. Now what was I doing again? Oh yeah... You made me think about what life will be like in 2050. My hope is that it will be like this story. Thank you again for participating in the anthology!

    Same here. There's a complete disconnect between the higher-ups and the worker bees. It's really quite mind-boggling to me. I was furloughed from my job of 15 years due to the pandemic and ended up leaving for employment elsewhere. Last year, I went to my old supervisor's retirement party and the company's CEO was there. When I was introduced, they told him "oh she doesn't work here anymore." He actually asked me "Oh, why is that?" The look on his face when I said "Because you furloughed me!" was priceless. I could continue on with my own rant here, but I won't. I will say this poem is very evocative and so sadly true.
