  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, O WILDONE!!
  5. Take cover! Chapter 44 - Battle Station's - has been posted.
  6. Here's what wiki has to say on the topic.
  7. While it's true that you weren't eligible for the 2009 award, you are eligible for the 2010 award.
  8. Earlier this month, I heard on the local news that September is the month that people announce their running for office. Could this be a certain goat's way of announcing he's running for a certain office in the you know what?
  9. It's not been collected yet. Since there was no body to prove she's dead, Dirk has to wait X amount years to collect it.
  10. I don't polish the shower when I'm done, but what I do is rinse the shower down when I'm done. This gets rid of any hair on the walls and curtains and helps keep the soap scum from building up, thus making the shower easier to clean.
  11. You may not see cliffs while on the open water that often but you could see them as you get close to land. At sea, the cliff are going to be under water.
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBERT!!
  13. Case in point. CJ is one I will have some fun with and correct for him.
  14. There's a lot of good points here. The forums are a more casual place. We all can misspell a word, or two, or three. I've certainly made my share. I for one take into account to look to see who the poster was when I read their post. I can then over look any mishaps in their written word. Even the Hosted Authors make mistakes when they post in a topic. Here's an example. When I first joined GA, one of my first posts was in the Editors Corner Forum to introduce myself. One of the authors I work with welcomed me. I had to reply back to him something along the lines of, Gee James, am I going to have to follow you around and correct your spelling errors? Now as to posted stories, if it has a lot of misspelled word and errors, I quit reading it. I very rarely offer my services as an editor to someone. I have quite a few authors that I work with and some time, they can keep me quite busy.
  15. In all honesty, as one of the beta readers, I missed the clue.
  16. There's also a very obvious clue at to which boat the bomb is on.
  17. Ah, but you're not the only one.
  18. Just goes to show you how far behind CJ was with this story. He was hoping to have this chapter posted in time for Christmas 2009.
  19. Notice how CJ is bringing his team into the story. We know Trevor is heading to Australia, we've had mention of a frog along with the mention of a dangerous goat path. Now an editor comes in along with a boat with the name Talon. And we don't know who the owner of that boat is yet.
  20. Let's not forget, there's a 50/50 chance of the bomb being placed on the Talon. Would I want to see Talon blown up? Not really. Would I sacrifice Talon to save Trevor? That remains to be seen.
  21. The question is, will Bes get mixed up and put the bomb on Atlantis or Talon?
  22. And it's going to be another interesting chapter.
  23. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CIA!!!!!!!!!
  24. He probably has a better chance of being right than NOAA does.
