Excellent chapter. You had me rolling with the conversation between Patri and Victor. Patri reminds me of my own grandpa who would've done the exact same thing. Anywho, am anxiously waiting for the Ascension and the inevitable drama that will ensue. Keep up the good work @gabz2000

I'm starting to think that the tower has some level of sentience. Maybe the concentration of Elvish magic is resonating with Chris, not sure though. Keep up the good work @gabz2000

I like how Chris is learning since I do the same thing. I'll read about something and then practice and experiment until I have a decent understanding of it. Patri, reminds me of my own grandfather. Willing to teach us anything as it would not only broaden our horizons, but make us more self-sufficient. Waiting patiently for the next updates as I'm enjoying this series.

This was just the update I needed after today. Evidently, I live in a town that didn't like how the Superbowl played out and decided to take out their moods on retail workers. lol. Good work @gabz2000, keep it up.

If I was Henry I'd be scrutinizing, investigating, and just being plain nosey trying to figure things out. I'm kinda thinking that while the pendant may have started the changes. It was the attack and rape that sparked the fast-tracking of them I'd guess. Keep up the good work @gabz2000

If I was Chris, I would definitely be talking to Victor about the dreams, especially now that he knows he is a dream traveller. What other powers will Chris possess? Is Chris of Elvish descent? Will Chris finally tell Victor and dad about this? Was gonna finish this out like the old Batman show but got tired of typing. 😂😂😂

I really like the idea of using dreams setting up a framework for learning whatever it is that Chris is learning (heritage, abilities, etc.) I feel that as his true nature is hidden and the dreams are the only way he can learn what he needs to learn right now.

Hmm, intriguing. Need more. I do know from personal experience that flirting with the dark side is not only dangerous but exhausting as well. Maybe he'll explore the darker side for a bit, but I feel that he would end up more gray than anything, using both good and bad at times when necessary. Can't wait for him to come into his heritage, whatever that may be. *Hoping for an elvish mystic* Good work @gabz2000, keep 'em coming.

It is nice to see a wider array of physical specialties when it comes to vampire abilities instead of mental skills. Seems like telepathic or empathic vamps are a dime a dozen. It was also nice to see them lose their first game as losses can be character building. Once again, good work.

Excellent chapter. It may just be me, but now I'm curious as to the story of Chris' mama and how she might fit into the story.
