    Koda is proving to be a very good friend also in human form. He has faith in Nick and tells him so. At the same time, he's not afraid to speak some uncomfortable truths. I wonder what happend to Cyan? He really doesn't want to deal with it yet. Must be pretty bad. And Nick is so anxious to get back!

    Ha, ha! No caption maybe, but I and some guys I train with made a baby body for our instructor when he had his first child. We used this picture and captioned it "Come on! Faster changes! Push yourself! Push your partner!" Our instructor likes to yell this at us. We thought it would be funny to think their baby would be the same. The mother is a bad ass instructor too...

    Prime getting more and more Alpha isn't so strange. He's a young, gay, outcast wolf who now had a pack, land and a scrawny Meta who ge loves. Why wouldn't he be feeling ten feet tall and growing? If I were him, I'd strut like nobody's business! Doesn't mean he doesn't need Colt.

    For a smart guy, he's kind of dense. And I have to agree with that it doesn't matter! Love, lust, codependence... If you're happy now, be happy now. But that closet romantic Colt is trying to convince himself he doesn't really need anyone in his life, when in reality he longs for a love that lasts forever. Nothing else will do. However, few relationships last forever. It doesn't make them any less amazing or rewarding. With his background, I get he's very guarded and cautious. After a couple of years (!) you would think he'd be able to trust in the wolves.

    I'm still kind of in the middle of my mulling over today's chapter 8. The thing I'd like to start with is Colt thinking the wolves aren't even gay. That to me can't be true. Most of the wolves have gone through so much grief over who they'd want to bed (they didn't actually get that far...). They've lost families, packs. Why would Colt ever doubt that? And before you say Fate made them that way, why on earth would she leave Al in his predicament? She ran out of "gay juice"? It doesn't make sense! Defiance19 and Equi made some excellent points in their reviews!

    Might be good to post this here too, to get the ball rolling! I've read Destiny now, so I'm up to speed. One thing I react to are the very harsh words some use about mrs Shaw, Hamish and Christie. Mrs Shaw might be getting a bit more sympathy now, but many readers are really hard on the siblings. I might be to eager to see good in people, but honestly. What kind of person would I be if I had lived their lives? Left to raise themselves to a large extent. Who took care of them? Mrs Shaw didn't even seem to know her eldest had a problem with nightmares. Sure, they are older now. Almost grown, but a life like that has to leave scars. They've lived with death in their very own house for years and years. In the end, they might have to just disconnect to save their sanity. Lashing out to keep Jack at arm's length, so they won't get hurt again. End rant! I did warn you in the Dignity forum about my ranting abilities...
