After the semi-shitty day I've had, I thought I would cheer myself up looking for Gavin. Really good ending. Martin dying was sadly the only way out for them. Now, they can focus on building a life for them in their tropical paradise. It would be interesting to get a little snippet from these guys further on. Maybe Casey could tell Shawn's sister about his mer side? To tell the world would probably be a very bad idea, but a few more people?

Jordan is young. Very young. Obsessive comes with the territory. Besides, I don't think he's leading anyone on. He hardly knows what he's doing and it's not like he's been whispering sweet nothings in the ears of those boys. He's almost afraid to talk to them. It may all go horribly wrong, but not because of anything Jordan has done. Other than being young, insecure and wanting someone to love. -
Silas should have taken some if his own advice a bit earlier. Trust the people close to you. Don't bottle things up. Hmm... Someone had really taken a lot of steps forward to dealing with his past for real. Not by running.

I think Jun could have been up front with Nick about her plan for him. Or rather for her... Then he might not have reacted like that. Now, I think he feels the game is constantly changing and that brings him closer and closer to taking back control, Malachy style. Something I doubt anyone would like. One is more than enough. If he helps Koda, then he might just give something. That could appease Raven.

Since they could hear her even before they were exposed to spark, I'm not so sure Dean is right. There is a connection, maybe stronger now, but it did exist before. This connection is what made the queen save their lives. Now, perhaps she wants to tell them how to make their own spark? Or she wants to thank them by telling them how to find energy in another way. Or she's feeling peckish...? Or the eggs she laid in them will hatch soon..? And we're back to icky spider!

When it comes to physical attraction IRL, I think the scents aren't that far off. At least not for explaining love at first sight (maybe more accurate lust at first sight). If you get into a relationship, then personality takes over. No surprise there (even though all the things that build a personality can be ever so interesting to figure out). What I can't explain is taste in the abstract. Why do I prefer a certain type of man, when it comes to looks alone? I've concluded that I like the opposite of me. But that explanation doesn't work regarding height and build... The guys I like don't look like my father or any other significant male in my life. Maybe it's just a preference, like I prefer blue over red or salty over sweet.

I've said it my reviews. I think Jordan should play it cool. He's not sure himself and doesn't really know any of those boys. Why rush it? Even if I realise patience isn't a forte at that age. To me, it feels like Jordan likes Sean's looks but is closer to Malachi at the moment. Personally I like Malachi, mostly because he isn't afraid to stand up for his friend. -
