I really enjoyed this story. Marc is lucky to have such a loving brother looking out for him, although it was too bad he didn't have the self-esteem to realize on his own that he should not have let himself be treated so shabbily or the courage to leave on his own. I do love stories where the MC has family who care enough to give them a kick in the butt when they need it.

So happy to see this update. I really like Elliot and Max so it was nice to catch up with them again. I agree with Cia though..Elliot was a little naive, I mean giving your boss a "firiendly massage"? Lol. The proposal was definitely memorable though!

Ok, that's it. Any empathy or sympathy i had for Nate is gone. He not only hit Clem, twice, he raped him. It's an unforgivable offence for me. You don't do that to anyone, much less someone you care about. Nate's behaviour tells me he doesn't actually care about Clem, he just wants a piece off @ss and Clem is convenient. Forget the truck..Nate shall be drawn and quartered by four strong horses. Then their quarters shall be drawn and quartered by four smaller horses. Then those quarters shall be drawn and quartered by four frogs. Then the quartering would stop, and the mincing would begin. (Yea Saturday Night Live for that). I really hope Clem sticks to his guns. He deserves to be treated right. No one ever deserves what happened to him. Great chapter Sasha. Definitely got my attention even if I did hate what happened to Clem!

I really like Lance. The man has shown compassion to Kayden and is astute enough to realize that Kayden admires the grooms' riding ability and wants approval from them. Good for him for chastising Finn for his behaviour and good for Finn for being able to see and acknowledge his own bad behaviour.

You have so many great short stories that I would live to read more of. This one and "Mine" in particular. Great story Cia, just way too short. Lol.

I don't even know what to say. My heart aches for Jonah right now. No matter how this plays out, someone that Jonah loves and trusts has lied to and betrayed him. I just wish he had talked to Ren himself, instead of going by what other people tell him was said. Of course, that would be typical Jonah right? Put your hands over your ears to block out the bad and run.

I really enjoyed this one. It reminds us of how far Kayden has come and that there are some things that may never truly heal.

Oh my God I am absolutely in love with Wes and Angus together! I knew the big guy would just be a big ole teddy bear with Wes. Thank you Cole!!!

Ok Mikey is seriously adorable and he seems to bring out the playful side of Matt, even after so many years apart. Can't wait to read more about their relationship.

I still feel badly for Clem, but not as much as I did in the first chapter (although I still want to hug him up and help him find a sweet boy to love him). He seems to be allowing himself to be what he thinks Nate wants even if it's not what he needs. He needs to "cowboy up" and tell Nate what he wants from this relationship and then have the courage to walk away if Nate still doesn't take his feelings in to consideration. i agree with irritable1, Nate is a Neanderthal. Who the heck thinks shoving into your boyfriend without lube or prep is sexy or even comfortable? Clem needs to stand up for himself and stop allowing Nate to treat him like he does. Being alone is scary, but Clem needs to do this for himself or he will never be truly happy. Yea I do think Nate cares about Clem, but I also think that Clem is projecting his hopes on Nate and giving him more credit than he deserves. Just because he cares doesn't mean he will ever treat Clem right. Another great chapter as always Sasha!

Excellent chapter! Loved it! It was satisfying to see Brad feel even a little bit of what he put Devyn through. I still wanted to smack the smirk off of Brad's face for a good portion of the chapter, but that's what made him such a great villain. And when Frank said "What, Brad?" "Feeling a little powerless?" I actually cheered! Haha. Great job craftingmom. Can't wait to read more of your work.

I am becoming a bigger fan of the captain as this story unfolds. He is a tough SOB but he is fair and does seem to have the capacity to feel deeply. Ryle is a tough little guy. Good for him for sticking up for Meg. He just didn't seem the type to cower and be kept down for very long. Keep the chapters coming!

So not impressed with Horace right now. I get that he wanted Roy and is disappointed about chad and Roy moving so fast but that's no reason to be such an ass to Wes. He strung that poor kid along. I agree with whoever said Wes should hook up with Angus. Maybe the big guy will treat the kid right. He deserves some love too. (Oh and YEA about Chad and Roy moving in together.

Great little story. I literally lol'd reading it! I was impressed with your use of the prompts. I could picture Kayden perched and ready to launch at his prey and then trying to talk around a mouthful of his squirming irate prize. Haha. It was a sweet and funny glimpse back at one of my favorite couples.

I agree with the other reviewers so far; this story leaves me feeling sad. I feel bad for Clem because he is not getting what he needs and probably won't where he is living right now. He needs a romantic who will make love with him for hours, not a buddy to scratch an itch. I also feel bad for Nate though because he obviously thinks he and Clem are getting on just fine. Clem doesn't seem to be telling Nate how unhappy he actually is (although maybe he's done that in the past without success?). Are these two in love or just in lust? These two have been together for years and I get the impression that they care deeply for each other but, Nate has no idea what to do with all of those "sissy" feelings. Sadly I agree with the reviewer who said they don't think Nate is going to figure any of this out in time to save this relationship, if he ever does at all. Looking forward to seeing where this story leads.

Gabe is definately tougher than he seems. Guess Darth didn't learn not to underestimate anyone. I like that the captain didn't intervene. Gabe needed to prove to everyone that he could fight his own battles and that he would protect what was "his". Although I think, given the chance, Ryle will also prove to be a force to be reckoned with. Great story! Keep it up

Excellent story. Jason's POV was an great way to wrap things up. I'm happy that Devyn has found some happiness and a "big brother" who loves him and wants to keep him safe. Thank you for taking the time to write it! Hopefully you have another story or two on the horizon.

The heart hurts for Ryle in this chapter. You did a great job conveying his despair and pain. He seems to be trying not to allow himself to beleive that Gabe might be real. In his world "to good to be true" could likely get you killed. Excellent chapter can't wait for the next one!

Fantastic chapter! I loved the interaction between Gabe and his father. That kid has some chutzpah, which he is going to need in this world. He seems to have earned the captains respect, which does not seem to be an easy thing to do. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Is it wrong that I would have liked to have had Brad's death described in exquisite and painstaking detail? Thank you for another great chapter! Devyn finally has a future he can look forward to.

I love the story, even if it makes my heart ache for Devyn with every chapter that I read. I want to smack Jason for not seeing what is, to me at least, the obvious. The poor kid flinches anytime someone moves to touch him and is afraid of men bigger than him. I could not imagine the desolation of knowing that no one believes you and having no way to get away from the abuse, especially at such a young age. I hope we get to see Devyn enjoy even a little happiness soon.
