I think friends can give you great insight, but the good thing about Liam is he takes advice, but he tries to make his own choices He knows he wants to be treated a certain way by Alek, and talks with friends help him confirm that belief. Thank you for your comment and your support, JP

I hate to 'like' these because they verbalize a great deal of pain, both mental and physical, but i did 'like' them because you conveyed that pain so effectively in each of these poems. My my favorite line, I think, is "and the soul whispers to the heart, “its ok, tomorrow we try again”."

I liked all of these, but I think the one I loved was #4. It describes a lasting and abiding love perfectly. In the beginning it's shiny and new, over time it begins to show signs of wear, but is still keeps you strong.. finally, after many years, it may be tarnished, and brittle, but is still enough to see you through. Simply lovely, Moggy.

These were all wonderful in their own way. My favourite lines were: "I won't give up I'll keep on my quest". I admire the strength of people who don't give up, even in the face of pain and adversity, and just keep soldiering on until the get what they're striving for.

Breakups are always hard on everyone, and being asked to choose sides doesn't make things easier.

This was a wonderful tribute to all of the lives lost that day, tim. A world without hate... it would be a beautiful place.

Just thought i'd peek in and take a look around and this is one of the first thing I see So much math! brain short circuiting....

All of these describe a loss of some sort, and the pain with each is palpable with each line. I think though that #2 is almost a loss with a full heart, similar to what a parent might feel when they send their kids out into the world to begin their adult lives.

I think what I love most about these characters is how realistic their relationship is. They're not twenty, thirty or even forty anymore, so there are physical challenges to contend with. i love that you don't shy away from those issues, and incorporate them. Saying goodbye would be hard, but both men have a supportive partner to help them get through and mend any remaing breaks in their hearts. I get David's concern about the guilt, especially for Maurice who'd only been with Eric. Becoming physical with someone is a huge step.. and can cause memories of your previous partner to surface. It didn't happen here, but it was a real possibility. Oh and I also adored David's protectiveness. Sometimes we all need someone looking out to make sure we're taking care of ourselves.

I was so happy to see this update in my notifications! I've missed these guys. Although I'm sad to see the story end you've left in a great place. Marjorie will always be Marjorie, but I admit I breathed a sigh of relief that she didn't do something to ruin the wedding. Greaf last chapter
