I think Jason should send Pierre a nice thank you card. lol Jason (although he might not be ready to admit it) loves Corey. It can be very difficult to be in the situation that Corey's mother found herself in. Its hard to judge someone in this situation because we don't know what's going on behind closed doors (or in their head). Corey did overreact to seeing his mother's pain, and Jason was an easy outlet for him to vent his anger and frustration. Jason tried, but wasn't allowed to be a good friend. Since I know you've read the next chapter already, you know who's at that door Thank you for your insightful review and your support, Lisa.

You know now who was at the door, but I agree, groveling needed to happen. We can get pretty caught up in our own heads that we forget or hurt those who are closest to us. Jason does still feel guilty about what happened, but he wasn't going to stay there to be berated for something Corey's father did. Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi. That's a great question for a debate. Liar or cheater? A liar isn't necessarily a cheater, but I would think a cheater is always a liar? Regardless, Corey messed up and hurt someone who cares deeply for him. He does need to apologize, pronto. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Hmmm I think Park might be feeling a little protective of Ritch. The dynamics of a streak fascinate me. I've been trying to get a mental image of a human werekin. How do they differ from full humans? Do humans no know the werekin exist? I get the impression they don't. but then human werekin must resemble them, at least on the outside? Ritch's streak sounds like a bunch of bigoted a-holes. It's not surprising though... there have always been bigots and bullies in positions of power. If Ritch is claimed, is it as simple as getting a divorce to get away from his (spouse?) I love the updates, but I always seem to have more questions. lol

Hehe. It was fun writing this chapter. I debated the ending with myself, but Corey insisted that he tell the world that Jason was his now 'adorable, sweet, and perfect' are compliments I'll take any day. Thank you for your review and your support, Gary.

I really like M&Ms too. I had a mad craving for them when I wrote this chapter These two do recognize the spark between them, now that they're not lying to themselves. It can be easy to find someone to do exciting things with, but the true test of a relationship can be those quiet moments. I've known couples who realize they really didn't get along when all they had to talk to was each other. Thank you for your review and your support, spikey

Thank you Geemeedee. As I mentioned in my reply to Bucket's review, Jason has been pretty careful about trying not to upset Corey, but with this he is standing firm. He won't be blamed for someone else's sins. He has enough of his own to worry about. thank you for your review and your support.

Haha well it was a REALLY big bag of M&Ms I thought it was important for Jason to give that warning. He's been... not a doormat, but very careful not to rock the boat where Corey is concerned, but he also doesn't want to be blamed for something that he didn't do. I think it's safe to say that Carlos has fallen pretty hard for Daniel. I'm not sure if Daniel knows how he feels yet, but I think he has stronger feelings for Carlos than he'd want to admit. It's worrisome that someone is coming after Silas, someone who has access to the club's security feed apparently. How will this person know he has the right triplet? Even if he does manage to grab Silas, I hate to think what he'll do in his effort to break him.

I'm really happy that Tobyn confided in Kellar finally, and that K followed him into the woods instead of walking away. I truly think that T doesn't want to acknowledge that K could be his earth mate, and is ignoring the signs (such as not being able to be apart even to sleep). That acknowledgement would bring with it a whole slew of complications to his careful plans to help save the pack, and species in general. I don't know how much longer he's going to be able to ignore the pull though... or pretend it only means physical attraction. I'm really looking forward to that road trip in the company of T's very observant mother. I wonder what her thoughts on earth mates is? Does she see them as potential liabilities too? Next chapter please.

Slow and steady is vital. They need to make forward progress, but they don't want to rush things, no matter what their libidos might say to the contrary Corey needed to feel close to Jason after almost chasing the man away, and being held (and holding) by him in bed is a great way to feel that connection, especially if they're not ready to take things further sexually. Jason is wary of being hurt, but cares enough about Corey that he will be patient as long as Corey is doing what he needs to do as well. A conversation with Drew would be a great idea. I think there was a lot that Drew wanted to say to him over the years, but didn't want to push when he knew how much his dad hurt the family. Maybe now they can actually have that talk. The next steps will come, but I can't see either man wanting to rush anything. They've both have too much to lose. Thank you for your review and all of your support, Tim
