  1. I've known you for years, but now I know you more. Such a relatable story, sometimes sweet, sometimes amusing, and sometimes kind of hot. Highly recommend this short story to everyone with a pulse. Cheers!

  2. Great take on the theme, Adi! I loved this peek into your day, and thoroughly understand the anticipation of your partner coming home, each connection as real as the last. Extremely well written, it's hard to believe English is your second (or third?) language. I am a creature of habit too, though I do it alone now. I confess I even watch the same TV shows over and over again, something I never would have done thirty years ago. One and done. I have my favorite hats too, though only about a half dozen of them, and of course I choose my mug depending on my mood. My fave of the moment is my huge blue one meant for soup. Everything about this felt good and right and left me feeling buoyed. Thank you, my friend. G

  8. Jays beat the Yankees!!!! Hell yeah!!!
  9. I just received my fiftieth story review for "Morningstar: The Malaise". Who knew when I wrote it it would resonate so with readers who read it over and over again? I sure didn't. What a great feeling.
  10. Yeah, jb, still only one book, but I do know where it would go if I choose to write a second. Much of it is in my head, and you are correct about the world development. It would be a continuation, but there would be changes. Thanks for the comment about Sidewinder and the world building that occurred. It and the other two books might not have happened if I devoted the time to another Morningstar book, and I would never give up the satisfaction that Old West series has given me. Cheers and thanks. Please leave a story like and story review if you haven't already. Those shows of appreciation helps keep me inspired to write more. Gary

    Chapter 34

I learned of pouncing/transfer techniques in my grade nine art class(a five year course) and this brought me back to all the times I've worked in different mediums over the years. Now my art has become writing. The painting sounds wonderful. Cheers!
  12. I heard "Showgirl" for the first time on Saturday as I lounged in my sling chair and watched my kids and grandkids play badminton outside. I loved it. She's an amazing lyricist.
  13. Hello, all! The last of my kids and grandkids just left and I am exhausted. I had four glasses of red wine last night, and it is making me sleepy.
  14. Hello, people! We're having a family day today, so I've been cooking, cleaning, and organizing. Have an awesome day, all!
