    Hey, Sherye! Tobyn struggles with change, and this is his mom, but yeah, Kellar did not expect this reaction at all. This is where we see Kellar's isolation from packs keeps coming into play. He thinks as a healer, a scientist, not a pack member. I don't blame him either. Hope you are well, dear friend.

    Anyone who wasn't moved by Arthur's story must be a hunter. It still gets me.

    I was like a little kid when I finally got to write this chapter. Bill... Arthur had a secret, and no way to tell it... until now.

    I can't imagine leaving your whole life behind like that, but the situation is dire indeed. I'm sure Vega is very proud of what they built. Clarence is in a tough position for sure.

    Hope is priceless, but I suspect it is scary too. Decisions need to be made. Thanks for this, Doc!

    Bill has always represented to me the resilience of the shifter race. Messed up as he is, he is a survivor. Yeah, it would seem Kellar's job is never done. Vega has seen with their own eyes that the copper works, and that is huge for their confidence after being so beaten down.

    The painting is definitely significant. We can expect Kellar will struggle with accepting he is any kind of savior. Always questions, isn't there?

    I was always worried readers would get sick of healings, but I have to say I loved writing them. In some ways it felt like I was the one doing the healing, suffering whatever Kellar was suffering, yet filling a need. This remains a favorite chapter for me. Cheers, Doc!

    Yes, she does, and this one is really hard to understand... or is it? It would seem every pack is in great decline, and it is likely some are completely wiped out. A war has been going on.

    That got my heart racing. Gotta love Warren. Yes, the earth mother keeps on giving.

    Lol. Yup. Warren is making one hell of an impression! I got totally caught up in this chapter, remembering how important it was when I wrote it. Cheers to the reformed human drug addict!!! It took a human to figure the silver out.

    You got to admit he is kind of adorable compared to that bully we first knew. Warren has won everyone over, including a once skeptical brother. Thanks again for this, Doc!

    She sure is, and Warren is one lucky man. Within this story, there are a lot of popular chapters, but this one really seemed to strike a chord with readers. Who doesn't love an underdog.

    I still get a kick out of Kellar when he is out of his element. Open mouth---insert foot. I just remember that Adelin was the girl who was halfway through death's door, so I love her fire and her spirit. Kellar is learning. Kellar and Tobyn are truly two halves of a whole.

    Denver's story about Osanna and what he went through still gets to me. Hunters are just plain evil!

    We can just add it to the list of things they can do. This chapter remains special for me because of the interaction between mother and son... and Kellar. Thanks, Doc!

    I enjoyed Kellar calling Tobyn on his feelings about humans. Yes, the pack could very well be in danger, and Elinor needs to know. The entire pack needs to be on their guard.

    For now. I loved Tobyn explaining why he looked horrified when he found out they really were mates. It was needed for Kellar's sake. These guys are finally on the same page.

    True, it might have been, but I think the ordeal was enough for them. A wolf tore his throat out, and that is the bottom line. Hope you are enjoying the reread, my friend, because I sure am.
