Thanks, my friend! It's what I hope for to, but something is holding me back. There is a story I am almost finished, and something is keeping me from it too.
This was probably the best experience of my rather short writing life, maybe because of the challenge of a mystery, and a shifter story to boot. It also could be because of the great interactions with readers. Seeing their passion, which matched mine, was incredibly satisfying.
Here's one throw away line in this chapter that shows just how Kellar's life has changed... “What… are you some kind of special seer now, like my grandmother was?” ... just the fact he can mention his grandmother, and know who she was(and the history of his family), is pretty damn special for the once orphan Kellar. I was always waiting for someone to mention this line, but no one did, so here I am doing it.
