    Hey jess, thanks for the great comments! Def mentioned his sudden urge to claim Kathy and now you picked up on his urge to squeeze into skinny clothes. With the shower scene and a few other things we've observed, the boy that's always trying to be in control seems to have someplace deep in his brain controlling everything. Anyway, it seems a lot of stuff is now converging on him.

    Andy had a difficult vacation, but still his ingenuity (and now mechanical skills) showed through. If the kid ever gets a break, he'll land on his feet. The party surprised me. I can't see him there. I guess it shows how much of a magnet Zander is to him. Another eventful chapter Parker, and it seems the next several will be as much or more so! OK, hurry up Friday

    Thanks AC for the wonderful review! I'm glad you snagged those little things I left lying around. Maybe he's more afraid of Gary, or what connecting with him might mean, than he's letting on. Gary seems persistent though Anyway, Toph has a lot of new people to meet and it's still difficult to break from the past, no matter how flippant he is.

    Thanks for the comments Def! Yeah, Matty. Even if the unlikely were to occur, it would be hard to envision David so 'acrobatic' in his sex with Matty. I envision him as more of a slow, loving partner. If he ever gets past holding hands, that is. Hehe. Sunday's face to face, voice-to-voice sounds huge, doesn't it?

    Thanks jess for the great review! Haha ...you picked up on Grampa's role pretty quickly. It finally dawns on David in ch 46. Oh no! Biggy's turning into too nice a guy to end up with the likes of Kathy. She'll probably find someone more her type

    That was a thoughtful answer Nate made to Josh's email. It shows he's thinking clearly, even though he was sweating bullets. Speaking of sweating bullets, that was a very lovely finally-boyfriends scene Gary! What a birthday present. They're going to be good for each other. I'm sure there'll be a lot of swimming going on in that pool too, or something. Thanks for this great chapter!

    Thanks for the comments Parker! It was almost like a stream of consciousness It's a good thing Matty is in terrific shape ...hehe. David's meeting with a speaking Twoey ...could be interesting! As I hinted to CG, Kathy at the mall could be a game changer in our naive late bloomer's life

    Thanks for the comments, as always, CG! Twoey and David have a date with fate coming in their second meeting ...so all bets are off. It's no great spoiler that we three (you, me and David) will only have to endure Kathy one more day. But please don't miss the icky hetero scene, it's amusing and ends with David symbolic washing his hands of Kathy. Don't let my carefully crafted scene go to waste!

    There’s a XCountry race today, so shirt and tie. Our last two races are at home, Gary's JV races are on the road. I can't wait for next year when we're on the same team again! I feel lonely among all those juniors and seniors. Nels was the center of conversation on our walk to school today. He and Lauri had planned to go to Syracuse tomorrow, hit a mall and a movie. His mom and her friend were going to deliver and pick up, leaving them all day. I guess his mom and her friend were going shopping

    Thanks for the review jess! Wow you summarized it beautifully! Let's hope David can find the magic key to allow him into Dr' Keating's office! I feel all the worse about Twoey. He's trapped behind prison walls and mute on top of it. Meanwhile he sees all this bad stuff going on with the boy he's sure is his soul mate.

    Thanks for the comments Val! I know it looks obvious from the outside of this 'relationship' but David has zero experience and, of course, has his own world carefully constructed in his head. Yep ...gonna get worse before it gets better

    Thanks for the comments jess! Twoey sure cuts through David's defenses, doesn't he? If David saw him every day, instead of only on Sunday, this story would be over ...hehe.

    Well Robbie had his itch scratched, but what is it with him and these straight dudes? Although, to most of his classmates he IS a straight dude ...haha. My only worry is he appears to be a bit out of control. His multiple orientations seem ready to intersect or, more likely, collide pretty soon. It won't be pretty and there won't be a happy ending . An interesting and well written chapter Dodger!

    Thanks for the review Parker! About the narrative voice. I hope the jarring shifts between 1st and 3rd person isn't too upsetting, but it obviously has a purpose.
