Great chapter Parker! A neat way to break the relationship to their friends ...hold hands In a way it's good the emotional scars are surfacing because Andy has kept them repressed because he was 'in transit' and their appearance means he's arrived. I'm no shrink but...

Well said Gary, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the usual great comments Lisa! No mall, it's really rural where they live. David is definitely not going to be prepared for Sunday's meeting!! Matty's games ...hehe. In a much later chapter, we'll visit Cory's unbelievable house too. Somehow I can't see David's personality fitting into all these Mattinanigans

Well done Dodger! Robbie is stuck with Alex, ready for a trip with Rory, about to embark on something with Nathan and, to top it all off, is about to expose his girlfriend to his boyfriend, or whatever Tom is now. This is intense

    Chapter 3

skinnydragon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 3

This story is very interesting Neph! And very good.

Thanks for the great review and comments Lisa! I think maybe once David spilled it all out to Ginny, it was lots easier doing it again for the shrink. A little more magic Ginny weaved with David. The David/Matty friendship is even more subtle when we realize Twoey has already had sex with Matty! I think back in the chapter when David went to visit the school psychologist (Dr. Snowbridge) he was confused to find Ginny, because their last name is Messer. She explained she uses her maiden name for her books and professional work. It was the only time it was mentioned, so it was easy to miss. Sorry. I should have mentioned it in at least one additional chapter to avoid the confusion.

As spikey implied, this is only the beginning. Andy's new life will have layers of complexity which will be challenging. On the other hand, it will be interesting to watch him blossom at school, once the shadow Andy starts to dissipate. I look forward to all this Parker, unless you're going to be a prick and end the story with the next chapter!

OMG tim! You snuck in a birthday while I was kidnapped? Happy Birthday dude! ...and here I thought all those decorations were for Christmas!

Hi Lisa! Thanks for the review! It's odd that the more aggressive Kathy is meeting with the more aggressive fantasies. I think Def called it 'pushing back'. We hope these aren't the little tremors one feels before the volcano erupts. But something is certainly at work here!

Thanks for these comments Parker! David has certainly been more honest with himself. Twoey also has been forced to confront things. Even coming out to Lanni showed a new resolve. You're correct about the worry what is conspiring against them, outside their view, is the pig in their ointment.

Thanks Def! You're right, David is slowly changing, we can feel it. Twoey too. His thinking is changing. Now he has focused on David, instead of simply having a crush on him. If it only weren't for that "ominous undercurrent"

"smart and handsome" yep. Bodie came through big time today! And Mark did too. I'll admit it, I think I wrote some bad sh*t about him some chapters ago. I really had no hope for him. As usual, Big Mike has a knack for stealing the scene with very few, but well timed, words. I can't wait until everyone sees Bodie's gift box. I wonder which trait Nate will choose to have engraved on Bodie's charm? Thanks for this fine chapter Gary!

OMG dayne! This keeps getting even better! Efrain is a gonner. Preston is priceless and Indy is *insert gratuitously suggestive adjective here* Thanks for this!

A hot chapter dayne! But it was also full of other wonderful stuff, now that I've recovered! They're together! Thanks for this!

Thanks so much Roberto! You only have 120 chapters left ...hehe I'll try my best and hope it remains interesting for you!

hey mitchelll ! Thanks for the comment, and I think you may be too right The next few weeks are going to be a little hard on David, to be sure. Expect unexpected reactions from him

Thanks JB! I'm happy "Twoey" makes YOU happy!

Wow! You're a marathon reader Carlos! Thanks for hanging in there. Things will begin to get a little sticky for our hero for a while.

    Fan the Flames

skinnydragon commented on rustle's story chapter in Fan the Flames

Ah finally! You should have used 'finally' as the title, rustle ...hehe. It was a beautiful chapter and beautifully written. Thanks for letting the boys come together so naturally and so inevitably. I love this story.

A tender chapter Parker. I think Andy is in good hands now (finally). Monica will care for him. The Lawyer will take care of him. Zander will envelop him in the cocoon of love he's never had, but desperately needs. Lots of interesting things ahead: Daddy's plan, T & K, his employers, and even the priest! Thanks for this!

“Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.” - Catch-22 *** This promises to be a frantic week. The anticipation makes me unsure whether I’m impatient or petrified. It will include the final XCountry race, Dr. Keating, Twoey coming home, finding two new meditation counselors to help me with problems, eradicating Kathy, letting down Greg, the dissolving relationship with Tommy’s mother, and probably a few surprises I can't even predict. I know ...I worry too much! “Mel

Thanks for the Christmas present Parker! An eventful and satisfying chapter. Just think, they found each other exactly in time for Valentine's Day. Perfect. We're all happy that Zander's father is a lawyer. Andy's gonna need one now. thanks again for this!

    Late September

skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Late September

Oh gosh AC, what an amazing review! Thank you for all your kind words. I was a little worried about the pov shifts, OK a LOT worried, hoping they would express what I was trying to paint. And there were only 3 chapters to get it accomplished. Clearly Toph has a long way to go, and only 21 more chapters to get it accomplished. Thanks for hanging in there!

Thanks for the kind words Wolfman! If you haven't done the math, there's 122 chapters on this torturous journey I hope it never gets boring or redundant! Thanks again for finding and reading and commenting!
  25. skinnydragon
Hey thanks Wolfman!! If you keep reading you'll find they are all good-hearted guys, except sometimes they do dumb stuff. But hell, their 15 and this isn't a morality play
